I'm honestly just,, so confused as to how the barista at Starbucks thought I said my name was 'Jessie'. My name doesn't start with a J, and it doesn't sound like Jessie at all?? How???

Ya'll. I go to this afterschool science camps, and we have a nonbionary & queer guest today!!! They are an anylitical (spelling, sorry) scientist, a pianist, and used to play rugby.
I am smiling ear to ear right now.

(And @Lupine, thank you for your advice! I will definetly take it into acount! The three of us + another friend hung out last Friday and it went really well, so I think I might actually be able to make this work! Fingers crossed)

Right?!? I think someone's making up Tik Tok challenges to see how many people can get expelled. My school's sent home tons of notices about it.
Why would anyone buy into this stuff???

Yeah, my school was talking about that too. There was a TikTok trend where people literally stole soap dispensers form the bathroom (why???) and apparently there was another one where people slapped teachers (once again why? TikTok is crazy.) Speaking of crazy, today there was a parade for *insert high school name here*'s homecoming, so the sixth graders got to watch it during 7th period. They were throwing candy but we were behind a fence so it was hard to get candy, and all of sixth grade was out there screaming "GIVE ME CANDY" and going crazy for candy.
it's food.
I mostly just tried not to get hit by anyone trying to get candy, so I only got one piece, but I don't really care because... well 1 it's just candy and 2 halloweens coming up! I'm so excited!

I'm homeschooled, but I know a teacher who has to ESCORT HIGH-SCHOOLERS TO THE BATHROOM ON SCHEDULED BATHROOM BREAKS so that no one destroys the bathrooms.
That is INSANE.
