update: while playing the original LoZ, someone accidentaly pulled on the NES's power cord, causing the game to reset before we even saved. everyone was rather frustrated, so we switched to playing Loz: Twilight Princess. it was rather fun, even if my arm is once again sore from the motion-sensor controls.
