I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Darkvine, I can't tell what image you were including with your text. Please use the image upload function for anything like that. But if you've copied from another site, we aren't allowed to post it. And there seems to be some word I can't read behind the image of what looks like musical notation.

Would anyone be willing to read some fragments of a story I'm writing and give me some feedback? I'm not going to say much about the story because the main thing I need feedback on is if any of it makes sense to people who don't know about it, but I very much adore this story and hopefully won't have to completely rewrite the opening after everyone reads it and has no idea what's going on but we'll see XD
this is partially because i just drew a somewhat decent picture of the main character but the setting would give away too much info so I can't really post it yet XD (I mean it's not a great picture, and it's pretty gestural/not very finished, but I still kind of like it)

Thank you. But, to be fair, I brought this upon myself by refusing to drink water. That's probably also why my lips are oh so overly chapped, I'm super tired, and my mouth has that stale-saliva taste....
