Random Thoughts/Things?

Random Thoughts/Things?

I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

I had honestly been really worried about you so i'm glad you're okay. you're welcome on our chat thread if you ever want to drop in again (not trying to pressure you, just in case you want to at literally any point) and i'm super sorry about all the medical stuff that can't be fun at all.

Yesterday morning I had a feelin' that it would be a good day, and you know what? It really was. Even the math test wasn't too bad. And oh my gosh Hadestown was so dang good! Espcially 'cause I got to see it w/my bff, Rose. AND I got my playbill signed by Orpheus and Hades (I wanted Persephone, but oh well)! And I got a picture w/Orpheus! And the costumes~ and music~ and scenery~ and lighting~ and acting~ and choreography~ oh my gods I loved it so much

does anyone else here garden? What are you guys doing? Is anyone interested in a gardening/plants thread, which could also have info for anyone who's interested in learning about gardening if anyone's interested in that and also tea of course? I really like growing herbs and flowers (especially edible flowers like roses) especially for tea. i'm going to see if i can make a garden bed in the front yard this year because there's more sun there and make a bed of both vegetables and flowers that need a lot of sun, less water, and more heat. Only tomatoes, lavender, and basil currently decided though. tomatoes don't necessarily need less water but they work well with basil.

also side note but I can finally watch Cinderella (Royal Opera House 2023) and it's SO GOOD -! the stepsisters might even be the best part. They just get better and better the more I watch. As much amazing dancing as there is, I just want to go back to any part with the Stepsisters (they still dance, their part is just more "about" the comedy. their antics kind of remind me of my cats heh). One of them is Gary Avis (the Stepsisters are often played by men, which is kind of cool) and he's amazing. also how did Vadim Muntagirov get better? Like how is that physically possible? And of course Fumi Kaneko as the Fairy Godmother is pure perfection. Anyway the entirety of it is amazing and the music is soooo good (it's Prokofiev so of course) and the set design is gorgeous and just perfection all around.

anyway sorry this is long and off topic but i also might do some herbs as ground cover in this place where we have some dirt around pots. The anise hyssop and perhaps some other things are already starting to take over regardless so might as well add stuff XD that being said i can't actually plant anything in the ground until late May. We just got snow like a week ago (in April). and today it's like 60's to 70s...

ooh, me!! i garden!! my backyard is like almost nonexistant and 80% concrete and 10% raspberry bush anyway, but i'm going to try and plant carrots!! i'm allergic to carrots, funnily enough, but they're the only vegetable my sister eats, and they're sooo fun to pull out of the ground lol. i also have some basil and other herbs in little planters on the back steps. i'm also going to (attempt to) grow some flowers? i haven't decided what type yet, though. definitely some dahlias, again, but idk what else.

anyway, your garden sounds literally so amazing! tomatoes are so fun <3 i might take a page from your book and try to grow some lavender, actually, that sounds lovely :D

but yes, i'd love a gardening/plants thread!! that sounds awesome, and i'd love to hear updates on how your garden's going!! (no pressure though ofc!) :D

I have to download the driver, extract it, go in to the terminal and do all this stuff...it''s just....CONFUSING....and I just wanna draw digitally....not spend hours trying to get the thing to work!

Speaking of Linux, did anyone hear about how some guy found a backdoor for Linux code to access private files?? Linux is used worldwide for banks, schools, and much more. This guy probably stoped one of the biggest cyber attacks in the WORLD. With that backdoor who knows what people could have accessed...
