I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

Y'know, I bet I'd look better if I was blonde(like, golden-blonde) with slight waves in my hair, had sapphire blue eyes, perfect teeth, a way better lookin' face than what I have, and a perfect... everythin'. But do I have all that? No. No, I don't. I have dark-brown staight hair that NEVER looks good no matter what I do with it, grey-green eyes, acne (I have accepted the fact that it'll probably never go away), not-so-perfect teeth, and a not perfect everythin'. *Sigh* it's been a long day, y'all...

possibly annoying (see last post) but - if it makes you feel any better, I think grey-green eyes are very very pretty :P I've always wished mine were grey-green. i'm not going to try to make you suddenly love your appearance (if you can that's great but i don't know how to do that). but you're really cool even if you don't like the way you look :D and idk if you're worried about this or not, but if you're worried about other people not liking the way you look, everyone has different ideas of what is pretty and so you'll fit someone's definition, and anyway if they care so much about your appearance that they can't like how passionate and fun you are, that's their problem. it doensn't make it not hurt, but it is their problem.

awwww, I can relate so much :( I often look in the mirror and think there are a lot of things about my appearance that could be improved...
I think BB already gave some pretty good advice, but I can add that one thing that's really fun is to write a story where the heroine is exactly like you and is also stunningly beautiful, and then you can kind of experience your dream appearance through your imagination. Also, I imagine looking gorgeous might have some drawbacks; people might fall in love with you just for the way you looked, not the way you actually are. And also, this might sound cliche, but there's no one way to look pretty. Anyone can look attractive, especially if they a) are kind and caring and let it show and b) if they embrace their natural aesthetic and style. Anyway, I hope this helps! And yeah, I definitely sympathize *hugs*

i tend to try to respond to things when people might be upset when i can (even if it's just a mention in another post about other something). Is that annoying? idk how coherent what i say ever is anyway, but i think people sometimes say it's helpful, but idk if it's annoying so if it is sorry and i'll try to do less :D (also i don't know why i do that so much on the CB...)
i wrote a bit more but long and kind of sentimental i'll post it later. lots already today, so not to overwhelm the admins :D

Oh, BB. It's never annoying. I think it's a wonderful trait about you that you always take the time to thoughtfully respond to other people. You always have interesting things to say, and you put so much effort into supporting and talking with other people, and I really, really like that about you. Especially when someone is feeling upset, it means the world to them to know that someone cares and wants to make them feel better, so no matter what you say when you reply to someone who's feeling that way, it will never be annoying - just the opposite! I hope this is helpful :)

I think it's really sweet and helpful, actually <3 it shows you care and I think sometimes the thing people need most is someone to listen and respond, even if it's not necessarily coherent.

Oh, I can't wait for camp!! It's an arts camp, and I'm gonna be a theater major~ And the bunks are like this: female-centered (including trans ppl, and two-spirit, and gender-nonconforming), gender-inclusive (literally anyone), and male-centered (again, like the female one, including gender-nonconforming, etc)!! And how will I choose which minors I want??? Aaaah, there's so many to choose from and they sound so cool!!! And the med forms were so much easier than my old camp's. Actually, all the forms were! And on their website, they have their main values, and for one of them they have a picture of a girl w/the lesbian flag, which ofc, this is a theater (and arts) camp, theater has a rep for being inclusive, so yayyy other queeeerrrrrssss!!! I'm so excited~ summer is almost here!!!!
