Right.

Jerkin- A kind of tunic thing. Oh wait, you weren't sure on that. See tunic.

Pinafore- Like that thingy that the AG doll Samanta wears on her birthday. A sort of fancy apron-y thingy. With lace. Like... yeah.

Doublet- A jacket thing.

Smock- Hard to describe. Like a shirt-dress-thingy thing.

Tunic- Sorta like a smock, sorta like a jerkin.

Garter- Um... those thingies that hold up overalls, I think.

Bonus: Prince Nauseating is probably a football player, I'm guessing they're shoulder pads. *shrug*

Each answer included the word "thing" or "thingy." I'm pathetic, aren't I. But I really have nothing better to do. :)

Actually, I honestly meant Prince Charming, like from Cinderella.

Tunic: a long shirt that splits on the sides and is usually bellted at the waste. Dudes wore them during medeival times over leggings.

I don't know the rest. Look em up on wikapedia

I'll answer these questions before I look at anyone else's answers.

A jerkin is a kind of clothing thing Native Americans used to wear, I think. I have a book that takes place in the Stone Age which the male characters (who were all Native – was it Finish? – ) as all wearing jerkins... or am I just getting things mixed up? It looks like... um... well, it's sleeveless, and it has no pant legs. It looks a bit like a dress, but more masculine somehow... Of course, I may be entirely wrong.

I really don't know what a pinafore is... I think women used to wear it the early 1900s... They wore it over their dresses on special occasions, I think.

I think a doublet is like a dress, but the bodice is open like a jacket, so you'd have to wear a shirt underneath it.

A smock is like an apron, except the shape is more slender than wide, and it goes around your whole body like a dress does, and there's no need to tie anything.

A tunic is kind of like a jerkin, but different. 'Twas an early type of dress worn originally by males and females alike. It was usually worn with a sash. it's very similar to a robe.

I think garters are suspenders?...

Bonus: Prince Charming wears different things on his shoulders in different illustrations/movies/descriptions. Which one are you referring to?

I know who you were talking about. I was joking. I don't know what you'd call medeival shoulder pads. *shrug*

I play the ocarina. Link is a fairy boy. Link plays the ocarina. I am a fairy boy. By the way, I have calmed down since the last post, thankfully. I'm beginning to get the idea that people are scared of me when I'm weird. I need a psychiatrist.
