Chatterbox: Down to Earth

So, I just

So, I just got back from the dentist... blech...

Turns out that, a) I have to have my wisdom teeth out (three of them, as I don't have a fourth, oddly enough) which I knew already, and b) I have to have a root canal because the tooth that I have a Big Huge Filling in has an abscess and the nerve is slowly dying.

Plus there may be something wrong with my jaw 'cause it pops every time I open my mouth.

Done whingeing.

Umm, ouch... O.O Sorry, I just hate going to any kind of doctor. *grimaces* Ugh, wisdom teeth can be such a pain (lame pun, haha). And I hope the jaw thing turns out okay. It sounds like it must hurt. o.O But it probably isn't anything the dentist can't fix. ;)

It doesn't hurt, actually, though apparently it sounds painful. My dentist kept flinching whenever I opened my mouth... And then (funnily enough) when the other dentist came in his basically said, "Hello," and then "Does your jaw always pop like that?"

The main downside is now I'm getting (probably) psychosomatic pain because of the abscess. It didn't hurt before, but it does now. Blech. Not very much, though, fortunately. Not near as bad as when I had the cavity which caused the abscess.

:D That's good. At least it's not as painful as it

sounds. ;)

Poor TNO! :( I hope I'm like my mom...she didn't have to get hers out! I'm having tooth problems too, I'm still losing teeth (not sure how many more) and my tooth is loose, and it hurts, and I hate the taste of bliood so I drink a lot of water and I just want it OUT! NOWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!! but the tooth wants to take it's time I guess. I guess I'm just.... not the kind of person who has enough patience.

You're still losing teeth? Baby teeth? I am happy to say I have no tooth horror stories to share. I have had one filling, and a wire retainer (at least I think that's what it was) on the bottom, and my parents say I may not need braces!

Wow, you have great teeth for someone never having braces.

That sounds Awful:( I have both my bottom wisdom teeth in and my upper ones are just starting, I'm hoping they wont cause any problems and I can leave them in. I would hate having them pulled out.

Dentists terrify me, with their sharp objects that you're supposed to calmly let them poke you in the mouth with.
