I looked up some more LGBTQ+ awareness days, so here is some that are coming up in May!
May 17 - International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia
May 19 - Agender Pride Day
May 24 - Pan Awareness Day

I saw this one take on gender that was: your actual gender isn't a choice, it's something you've always been (ie. if you're a girl, you've always been a girl, if you're an enby, you've always been an enby, etc.), but the way you present your gender is a choice, and I think that's really nice and eye-opening :).
