I know people from the past. Like TNO. I don't get Cricket anymore, so these guys might still exist: Mimi, Sarah, Phillip, Prof.Anno, The Aunts, Ms. Mss, Charlie, and H.A. Rey.

AND YOU TOOK THEM AWAY!Cry(rightFrown)

(Hint to identity:EXTERMINATE! NOW ya know)

Wait, Nathan, you don't get them anymore???  It's not like you're too old for them, are you???  The Aunts still appear every now and then, but I've never even heard of the others....

I have 9 volumes (years) worth of Cricket magazines from the very first issue till year 9.  My mom got them when she was a little girl and she kept them and gave them to me in September.

Mimi is a spider.

Phillip is a little cricket, and Sarah is a pillbug.  They always fight, and Muffin is their babysitter.

Ms. Mss was a May fly that was kinda like a hippie.  She was always saying "far out" and making about as much sense as my friend SCORPION 45.

H.A. Rey was a flea and one of the original buggies.  H. A. stood for Hopping Around.

Charlie was Cricket's little cousin.

Professor Anno was a Japanese beetle, and he's Old Cricket's best friend.

The bugs aren't drawn by the same person anymore.

My mom says if I get good grades I can have a new subscription for Christmas.

You all sound so COOL. Now for a little about myself. I am 13, public schooler, have an eight-year-old sister, and love writing. I have written several stories, but only gotten halfway done with them. (writer's block:) I am so excited.

Open a new word processing document (Word, Pages, whatever floats your boat. I use Pages.) and write every single word that pops into your head. If you come up blank, write song lyrics, rewrite recently written scenes, just write something even if it's tripe. It helps, sometimes.

If not, try banging your head against your keyboard and hoping for the best. :D
