At Joan's place, the entire household is abustle with noise....
Puck:
"Oh my goodness, oh my goodness, oh my goodness!" I began hurriedly bustling around the house for the supplies I needed. Not only was I getting ready for my 'hangout' with Fable, but also for my hopefully soon 'date' with Kodi! I blushed just thinking of him. I hadn't felt this way since... since Dev came into my life. When I read about Kodi, I couldn't stop thinking about how much he reminded me about Dev. Their personalities seemed so similar.... at least this time we wouldn't be rivals in pranking. Or would we?
I paused. I hadn't actually seen Kodi in real life, but he sounded so.... so dreamy. I sighed just thinking about how he chose ME. Chose me. Smart, dreamy, handsome, likes leather jackets... I sighed again. After Dev left, my heart was broken. I mean, I thought no AE, no guy for that matter, could love me for.... for me ever again. I was PUCK, the prankster AE, the one who everyone feared and also loved because of the pranks I pulled.
I acted like a kid, energetic and enthusiastic and playful, which was me, but it also wasn't. I often acted this way because I was nervous to let people see me, the real me. At the same time I was having self doubts, the thought came into my mind. 'What if Kodi doesn't like me being playful and energetic?'
No. I would not let these doubts fill my mind again. Now what to wear...
"Arent yousu ppose dtobe leavin gnow? It'sa lmost 3PM."
"Yipes! Thanks Galahad." I shouted over my shoulder before grabbing 2 changes of clothes, a few of my itching powder smoke bombs, a hairbrush, some makeup, and placing them in my bottomless satchel. I NEVER left without my satchel.
"Hold up young lady!" Joan shouted from behind me. "You better be home by 11 at the latest. And NO PRANKS."
"Aww... come on Joan, you know with me pranking is inevitable."
"I know, but just BE CAREFUL. Every time you prank something, or someone, then it's more trouble for me. So just be careful. And have fun."
"I will!" I grinned. Ariel, my twin brother, sat in the drivers seat waiting to take me to the flower festival where I would meet Fable, and then hopefully go somewhere else to meet Koti. I grinned again.
"Puck-"
"Yes?"
He looked at me sternly. "I know you like this... guy, this...."
"Kodi"
"Yes, him. But listen. If anything happens, ANYTHING after your hangout with Fable, just let me know. I'm here for you, and I will be there in a few minutes if you want me to come pick you up early, I will. You know I will. I've got nothing else going on, except college classes. So just let me know if anything happens."
"I will."
"And if he breaks your heart, I swear...."
"I know. Now hush up. I've got to go meet Fable, and you're making me late!" I giggled before getting out of our car. "Thanks for the ride Ariel. And don't worry, nothing is going to happen."
"We'll see. Have fun."
"Thanks!" I waved goodbye to him before turning to find Fable in the fields of flowers. When I saw them, I quickly choked back a laugh. I mean, what were they wearing?
I waved over to them. "Hi Fable!"

I can hear dreamiing coming downstairs, so I grab my combat boots and say goodbye to Solum.
"Can't talk right now I'm going to the- the flower festival," I say, barely managing to push out the last words. Then I'm running through the doors- and dreamiing looks very confused.
In void, out void, city, bus, ticket booth, yada yada. Nobody cares.
I make sure my white suit shirt isn't perfect and make a wrinkle in the black fabric of my pants (also part of a suit, if your the kind of person that needs to know everything). I have a purple tie on (nicely wrinkled) and of course, my combat boots. I find the largest, emptiest field of flowers and position myself in a shadowy spot.
I wait and wait and then finally I see Puck. She seems excited for some reason. Hopefully not because of me. She's also giggling, and her eyes are taking in my messy appearance. Good. I don't want to impress this girl. I want to get this over with.
"Hi Fable!*" she says, waving. I groan. She is SO peppy.
"Hi, I guess." I mumble. Ugh, why did Vix sign me up for this?
"So I just wanted to know I can't stay long-" Puck starts, and I sigh, relieved.
"Okay great, because I totally don't want to be doing this right now. You can leave as early as you want." I interrupt. The flowers all around me have this cloying, heavy scent that is really annoying and kind of making me dizzy. Plus I can hear the sounds of the festival. There's this energetic pop music drifting overhead. I can hear happy voices and lots of laughter. Oh my gods, this is terrible.
"Actually, if you have something after this, you really should leave soon. Soo... let's just get this over with, okay? Then you can go meet up with, uh, what's his name? Kodi? Right. Then you can go meet up with Kodi. Sounds good?" I don't bother to explain how I know Puck is going on a date with Kodi, but I'm very glad she is because that means we get to spend less time together.
Don't get me wrong, it's nothing against Puck, but she's just so... happy. And excited. And very much totally not my type. But I have to do this.
I'm taking in Puck's appearance when my eyes catch on something sticking out of her satchel.
"Wait, are those itching powder smoke bombs?" I ask, my mind filling with possible pranks.
I wait for Puck's response, already coming up with a plan.
*I don't know what Puck speaks in, sorry,,

"Nite. Is. Leaving. Temporarily. Basil and you's d- hangout will either be postponed or cancelled. You can go prepare for the hangout with Puck. But if she breaks your heart-" th3mysticw0lf cracked her knuckles and her neck- "-I'll break her. See you later, call Cali for fashion advice. I would say maybe- I dunno, a t-shirt and jeans and your sneakers? Nothing too fancy."
"THATS AWESOME!" i scream.
"Pog. You mean pog." Elle closes the door and I can hear their footsteps echoing away.

I brush my hair, then start playing video games. Puck needs to finish her hangout with Fable or something, so I figured, why not use this to spend the time?

"Hi Fable!" I waved over to them.
They just groaned. "Hi."
"I just wanted to let you know I can't stay for long-"
"Great. Leave as early as you want. Let's just get this over with soon so you can go meet-what's his name? Oh yeah-Kodi." They sneered at his name. I winced. Wow, they were so negative. They probably didn't like my positive and enthusiasm either.... I wilted a little, but then paused.
"Wait, how did you know about-"
They shrugged. "I see and notice everything."
Everything except your dishelved appearance apparently... I thought. "Umm-I like your tie. Purple is my favorite color-"
They just grunted in reply. My eyes teared up a little. How could they be so negative? I was hoping to make a new friend at least, but... maybe this wouldn't work out. I bit my lip before saying something, but before my mouth even opened, Fable said something that changed my viewpoint of them.
"Wait-are those itching powder smoke bombs?"
I noticed the mischevious gleam in their eyes. Huh, maybe this hangout wouldn't be terrible after all.
"Yeah-they are! I actually invented them myself, and Joan, Ariel, and Galahad all help me run my own prank shop! Business hasn't been that good this time of year, but it's still fun." I held one out to them. "Want to try one? They come in all different colors. I can always send you a pack or two for free." I grinned mischeviously. They seemed to like the idea, and reached towards the itching powder smoke bomb that I offered them.
I grinned. Maybe I would make a new friend after all. Or at least, have a good time here before my date with Kodi. One thing was for sure: this flower festival was about to get a whole lot... messier.

"Sure!" I said, and Dallas and I started hiking.
"So, you got any hobbies you like?" Dallas says.
"Oh, I like chaos, racing cars, crime. All the usual things." I reply, boasting a bit.
"Whoa, you like racing cars? That's really cool!" I hear Dallas say, and my cheeks turn red.
"Um, I guess it is cool. B-but what about you? What hobbies do you like?" I say akwardly.
"Oh, I like doing sports and all that stuff. I'm pretty athletic." He says, and we finally reach the top of a hill. It has a metal bench on top.
"Whew! I think I need to sit down." I say, and we both sit down.
Wow, Dallas is nice and cute. I'm enjoying this a lot more than I thought!

"What do I do in my free time? Oh, I like engineering, hacking, and defending everyone from the monster that is Windracer." I say. "And, you can tell Onyx that I do have awesome powers."
Opal looks at me, surprised. *You have robotic powers? That's really cool!*
"Yup! Let me show you..." I pick up a napkin, and put in my palms. In a matter of seconds, it transfigures into a paper rose. "Here, for you, Opal." I hand it to her.

"You know, this reminds me of the time when I tried to buy flowers to decorate our rooms- you see, I'm the only AE with any sense of style whatsoever- and so I got irises for Silver, fire lilies for Topaz, crocuses for Jewel, black dhalias for Onyx, which fae threw out right away because fae has no appreciation for my talents, and white roses for myself. White is my favorite color, despite what Silver says about it not actually being a color-" I cut myself off, realizing that I'm rambling. What was it that Jewel had advised me? 'Opal, DON'T make it all about yourself'. Huh.*
*"Um," I say, trying to redirect the conversation so that it doesn't seem like I am a 'self absorbed perfectionist' as Onyx likes to call me. "Thank you for the flower, is what I'm trying to say." I reach into one of my hidden pockets (they really are quite useful) and take out a folded peice of paper, handing it to 7506. "I drew this for you. I hope you like it, I'm not much of an artist." I am, in fact, a wonderful artist, but saying that would be self-absorbed and that is the opposite of what I'm trying to do here. 75 opens the paper.*

AE stands for Alter Ego, a character invented to express a different part of a participant's personality.
