I don't know about you lizards, but I love my AEs and am really bad at commitment. So I don't really sign up for parties a lot. I still want to write with them, though! Hence this thread.
Here we can write about whatever they're doing when they aren't at parties, weather that be hanging out with their siblings, being their antisocial selves, going on dates (CB appropriate, ofc), or having adventures that have actual plots.
After this shows up, I'll post a link to the original thread by Viola? and an example of how this works :]]

yes, they're adorable :) i'm glad you liked seeing more of his backstory!
also *ahem* do you think they should confess they like each other?? i feel like this would be a good moment, since they're already getting to know each other so deeply, but if you'd rather leave it for another time, I don't mind. Your choice! :)

Rigel, that new AE—
She’s pretty nice.
She recently taught me
How to write poetry
After I offered to teach
Her how to play
Her favorite song,
Castle in the Sky.
She had gladly accepted
And in turn
Taught me how
To string letters
Into beautiful words,
And words
Into meaningful lines,
Of hopes and dreams
That I daren’t say out loud.
After all,
(And it seems she knows)
I am always too shy
To speak up
In a conversation.
Maybe through poetry
I’ll be able to
Speak up more,
Make the friends
That I’ve always wanted,
And that I envy
From everyone else.
And it seems that
Poetry is really
Just music, but
Through words.
In the same way
You draw a crescendo
You build up that climax
To your last word,
Then drop it like a mic
And fade it to pianissimo.~
