Oh gosh I haven't answered in forever! hOw did that happen? :/

Anyway, wow, you read Marguerite Henry too! I love her stories :) And I know, the ending of Misty has always given me thrills too - it's so beautifully written and touching. Have you read the sequels to Misty of Chincoteague, Sea Star and Stormy, Misty's Foal? They're both pretty good too, especially the last one.

I do have a few model horses too - my favorites are probably a black stallion called Austrian Fire (I was very young when I named him) and a mare called Blaze of Gold, who's pinto with sort of golden-brown patches. She has a foal, who's also pinto but black and white, who's called Blaze of Obsidian (a filly, although I know the name sounds more like a colt's). Your model horses, and of course the horses you've seen, sound beautiful :D Do you know what breed(s) the horses in the pasture are?

Gosh, life plans... I have so many ideas! Of course my most obvious desire is to be an author, but I don't think I'll try supporting myself on just my writing, because authors really don't have very stable lives/income/whatever. And then, of course, there are lots of other things to do... Ah, all the "helping society" thing. I know. It's like, "look at all the things that need to be done, and why isn't anyone DOING THEM????" I've given a passing thought to going into politics... but honestly... I don't think I'm doing that.

Other than that, I do want a career that has to do with writing or at least creativity. It's just hard to decide what... (I'm probably using way too many ellipses, sorry) It takes a lot of thought. And then there's always the question about whether you want to go to college at all. I mean, of course, there are a lot of good reasons why you should go to college, but quite a few American colleges don't seem to be very nice places to be. Anyway, all these ideas... wow, a circulation job at your library! That sounds really fun :) I hope you do get it!

Ooh, an Easter break should be nice! For Easter, we usually paint some Easter Eggs of our own. On Easter we tend to have an Easter Egg hunt in our own house. It's amazing how hard Easter Eggs can be to find ;) Yes, I have found a few Easter Eggs on the CB - I hope you find some too! I could give you a few hints, if you want. Btw, did you see that the Egghead is actually pangolin? :0

I'm sooo busy right now, but I'll try to post in a few days. All the teachers are trying to get in homework before break :/

That's fine, don't worry about responding quickly :) (I'm terrible at that myself, so...)

Okay, I'm here :D

Yay, I love the sequels to the Misty books! And your model horses sound beautiful. Their names are gorgeous!

Haha, I overuse ellipses too, and dashes. Like when I'm journaling. I'm planning to go to college/university because it broadens your job opportunities, and one of my parents works at one, so I'll probably go there. But you're right, everything does take a lot of thought. I could probably think in circles forever and not really get anywhere!

I went on an Easter Egg hunt at my grandma's house too! And we had a big Easter lunch! This is my last day of Easter break, but I've had a nice break. I needed that break though. School is just hard sometimes. And I did see that the Egghead is pangolin! It's kind of fun when people go under aliases and then pop up all of a sudden!

I have a question for you two! Do either of you have your own languages/conlangs? I'm working on my own at the moment!

Aw, thanks for your earlier compliment about my writing! You write really nicely too (I read your writing for the Magical Horses RP). I love the attention to detail and what the characters are thinking :) Oh, and I hope you can get the library job!

Yes, I've found some eggs on the CB, although I suspect there are still some that I've missed... I hope you can find some too! They're piling up, so they should be easier to find as more of them are posted.

Ooh, the Easter egg hunt at your grandma's sounds really nice! My family usually does one too, but we skipped it this year. I've had a short Easter break as well, which was restful. I know what you mean about just needing to relax sometimes. I mean, school is usually interesting and all, but taking a few days off is never a bad thing :)

Conlangs... yes, I have one which isn't fully finished yet, but it's coming along; it's called Aiscuc, and it's spoken by a tribe of Native Americans I made up. It's great fun to speak in it because it's so satisfying to use something that I've completely invented! And it's also good for writing/talking about secrets ;) And I enjoy creating the language's rules and patterns. For instance, to say that something is female, you add "a" to it, so since "konik" means horse, "konika" means mare. I've also made up quite a bit of Aiscuc culture and history, which is really fun too. What's your conlang like? I'd love to hear about it if you want to share!

And now for a new question - do you have a favorite movie?

Thank you! And I GOT THE LIBRARY JOB!!!!!! Literally an hour ago! I'll probably start next week and I am excited!!!

I'm sitting outside right now doing homework because it's so warm and nice out here. There's a breeze that keeps blowing my hair, and I think the neighbour across the street is mowing his lawn, which, I'm not sure why? There's hardly any grass yet!

Your "Aiscuc" word for horse is beautiful. I was just thinking today that I should work on animal words. I started my first conlang a year ago, and I've only been working on my current project for a few months, a branch-off daughter language from my first one. And I know, it is so satisfying to walk around knowing that you have a whole language of your own in the back of your head! Then you can talk without anyone understanding you! My language is called Vafalian, a soft-spoken, breathy language that mimics the wind and nature in general. For that reason, the letters are predominately v, s, f, h, l, m, and n, and a's and e's for vowels, and not harsh letters like t, for example. It's partly inspired by Tolkien's Quenya and Sindarin, my very favourite conlangs <33 Haha, I'm also learning Klingon with my brother, but that's a bit different :D

H-mm, favourite movies. There are a lot of good movies and a lot of bad ones, but I've never really watched a movie that I loved. Books are better. I've seen LotR, those are good (a little violent though) and I like Star Trek. Other than that, I don't watch much. What about you?

Gosh, so sorry, it's taken me forever to reply again :\ Anyway, here I am at last.

Oh, thinking in circles... I can literally think in circles for hours, if I have the time. (Not that I usually do have the time.) Yes, we had our Easter break, which was sooo nice - just to relax a little and have time to do all those things I'd been wanting to do, but somehow not being able to do, for ages now...

Aha, conlangs. Those are so much fun! I know almost all there is of Aiscuc, of course, but in addition I did start my own conlang last summer (and, needless to say, didn't get very far). I have a few words already, basically the first ones that popped into my head to have words for. I've also been experimenting with putting them together - for example, "ain" means large and "lia" means stream, so you put them together and get "ain'lia", which translates directly to "large stream" but actually is taken to mean river or water. And then you add the suffix "ra", which means that the noun it's attached to is running, and get "ain'liara", which literally means "running water(s)". Pretty complex, but it's lots of fun to write. Vafalian sounds lovely! Actually, I've also had the idea of making up a language that mimics sounds in nature, but I've never gotten around to doing it. And ah yes, Tolkien's languages. He really went in for them - it seems to have been a part of his "world-building". It's amazing how complex they were.

Wow, congratscongratscongrats on getting your library job!!!! *throws environmentally-friendly confetti to celebrate even though it isn't a CBversary* I hope you enjoy it!

You being out in your garden with your homework sounds so nice :) I'm sitting in my parents' study, which is where my mom's computer is, but in general these days I'm going outside as much as possible, since it's getting a bit warmer. It's so nice that it's finally spring!! I don't mind winter, but there's nothing quite like the changing of the seasons.

Favorite movies? Well, I do like Frozen II - it's nothing at all like the first Frozen movie, but much more true to life, and inspiring, and beautiful in general. Other than that, I also like light-hearted movies with some innocent romance and a happy atmosphere, like Confessions of a Shopaholic. Overall, though, I think that books are more "essential", and when there are movies based on books I think it's usually better to read the books first, because the movies often get them all wrong or change the plot at least a bit. I haven't watched the LotR movies as I haven't yet read the books, and because they are a bit violent :/ My dad is a big fan of them, though (both books and movies).

<didok> That sounds like a word, but I don't think it is one...

Hi frieeeends! :D

Amethyst, I wish you luck with conlanging! I've been too busy to work on mine for a while. There's so much homework, and I have National History Day next week and all that catch-up work, and then exams next month. And two tests tomorrow. But sorry for ranting, it's just me being annoyed and tired :/

Ummm, what to talk about? We're doing a poetry unit in English! But we have to use all model poems to do it, which I really don't like. I want to be original and write my own poems, not copy someone else's! It's so frustrating. Do you have a favourite poem?

I watched Frozen II a few months ago! It was pretty funny, especially that part when Olaf re-enacted the whole previous movie. Bye for now!
