Okay, I

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Okay, I

Okay, I just wanted to say I'm really sorry. The person I am when I'm on the CB isn't really anything like the real me.  I mean, I haven't lied about anything really, except for my happiness.  Here, I've always posted as a super happy and optimistic girl who can't make a comment without smiley faces.  But in RL, I'm just the typical girl suffering from depression.  I struggle with my faith, have lost almost of my friends, and have had my heart broken.  I'm an expert at hiding my emotions, and no one (like, not even my own family) knows when I'm upset.  But as soon as I go to my room at night, the tears start to fall.  I just wanted to say I'm sorry to all of you who think I'm the super happy smiley girl.  If you're mad, I can leave (lol, that is, as soon as I finish the ten days of Christmas).

pkenzie, I’m sorry to hear that you’re feeling sad. Everybuggy here in Cricket Country and on the Chatterbox loves you. The comments you’ve sent have introduced us to a caring, friendly, fun-loving girl. Even if we haven’t met in person, we are all your real friends who care about you deeply. I’ve always thought of you as the hostess of the Chatterbox, how you welcome newcomers and help them learn their way around.

We love your quizzes! Keep attending activities you enjoy and be on the lookout for others who enjoy the same things. Didn’t you and others from your church just go on a weekend concert trip that you enjoyed?

It is very common for people of any age to struggle with their faith sometimes. Questioning and thinking can make you stronger.

I hope by the time you read this that you’re feeling better. But anytime you’re feeling bad, please talk to a parent or someone at church. They love you and would do anything to help you, but you have to tell them how you feel.

Please reply and let us know how you’re doing! We care very much.

*blushes*  It was nothing... it's just how I feel.  :)  I'm glad it reminds of a good song.  :)

Thanks, Laura!  :)  And I know, I have my own rules about movies, too.  I went to a sleepover party with nine girls and we all had to go pick out a movie.  Some of the girls were picking out movies that had very bad stuff in them.  I finally convinced certain people to join my side and pick out a more reasonably safe movie.  (Yes, I did!)  It was strange, but oh well! :)  Thanks again, Laura, you cheered me up.

Good, that was my goal.  Yes, my first sleepover, my friend (whose birthday it was) wanted to watch some movie about wolves, and though it mortified me, and I felt like a weakling, I stood up for myself, and we watched the Tigger Movie instead.  Now I see it actually took guts, and I'm proud of myself.

Angry? No absolutely not! We all love ya here on Chatterbox. I use Chatterbox as an escape pod from the real world sometimes as well. You're an amazing friend, don't change anything about you. Talking to someone you trust can make all the difference (trust me). Keep smiling, laughing and keep free.  :)

*sniffles*  I finished re-reading Castle in the Air... I started it on Christmas, MOMMY GOT US THE WHOLE SET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Normally I would have read it faster, but with so much going on, I couldn't concentrate.  Isn't Whippersnapper the cutest black kitten in the world, on par with JoJo???  I like him better than Morgan by far.  Morgan cries too much.  He's better as a toddler, but....  Twinkle is seriously hilarious.  (There's that contradiction again!)

So yah, I started re-reading House of Many Ways this morning, and Charmain is in the study for the first time looking at books she oughtn't.  :D  I decided, who cares about the books from the library that are going to be late if I don't finish them soon, I wanna read DWJ!!!!!!!!!!

So, do you think it's said 'CHar-mane' or 'SHar-mane'?  I sort of just switch back and forth.

update:  I realized I say it 'SHar-mane'.  Problem is, then it doesn't quite match up that everyone thinks it's 'Charming'... oh well.

So now she's just had her first encounter with the Lubbock, and she's just meeting the gardening dude.  And she managed to make the flying spell work for reasons which I do not know, because I just don't remember from last time I read it, and I haven't gotten to the explaining yet.  :P

Well, glad y'all liked what I said, but on a rereading, I just about barfed from its flowery-ness. I don't know what on earth happened to me that made me write like that . . . that . . . thing! Ok, sorry. I guess the thing that happened is what I said in that thing - I actually care about the people on here, so I get all protective and cheesy when I read something like what Kenzie said. Sorry. :P

Cheers,

lav

I agree it was a bit flowery, but that's not the part I was paying attention to, it was your sincerity, and the idea of what you were saying that shone through to me.  I understand why you gagged, but don't call it a thing, you deserve more than that!  :)  The point is, you made Paige feel better, and right now, that's all that matters.

Hahahahahaha...  That's okay!  Trust me, I really liked it, and I have definitely been more corny than that on the CB.  (:

My anti-spam box says "bond".  James Bond?

Ah-ha!  He wants to be named James Bond!!!!!  We've solved the problem!!!

James says: gthz.  Does that mean 'good', or 'guts', or what???  Or maybe he thinks I sneezed....
