Hawkstar and I were discussing on our chat thread about the possibilities of CBer backstories: for example, how are you supposed to know I'm not [to quote directly] a "54-year old retired pro golfer named Clyde who lives in Missouri and has a snow globe collection and a passion for inventing foolish stories to trick poor unsuspecting whippersnappers"? YOU DON'T
we thought it'd be fun to generate some ideas for ridiculous real-life possible guises for CBers! what do I seem like to y'all?

you... could be an emo thirteen-year-old who—when not in school—has a part-time job at an tubing shop leading unsuspecting toursits through a devilish system of river rapids. When in school, very quiet except for the rainbow streak running through your shoulder-length brown hair. You either have a pet iguana or a goldfish.

Well, I'll just say... I imagine you all as normal people :) pretty boring, huh? But if I had to, I guess...
Hex would be a caveperson who has a whole cavern devoted to socks and who hunts animals for food and the only mark of "civilization" is an old dusty computer that doesn't work half the time and has the CB as a bookmark?? But still somehow participates in all the normal teen stuff like school and soccer and all that?? Yeah idk. But I can totally see the golfer named Clyde. Like, why does that fit you so well??
Parody would be a 24-year old woman who is also an astronaut and who's constantly doodling in notebooks while floating on the moon?? Or on the ISS more likely. Studying the possibility of alien life.
Hawkstar would live in a cottage in the woods and would also hunt animals (with her trusty bow and arrow, ofc) and actually uh this one I sorta actually do believe...

For Celine's backstory, she lives on the beach by the firemist sea catching and saving moths and turtles from plastic and probably makes eco posters on free time.

Ooo yes sounds interesting. Hex, maybe you are a part-time magician and part time gardener who has a garden of succulents and cacti. Parody comes from another dimension and is currently living on the moon doodling and writing stories. Hawkstar is definitely a hunter with a bow and arrow and a hawk as a pet and lives in the forest. What do I seem like?

Hex seems like... *dramatic pause* a 54-year-old pro golfer named Clyde who lives in Missouri!! /jk :) I would imagine Hex as a person who lives in a smallish city, wears flannel shirts, and has a large group of friends, all of whom may or may not have a secret plan to take over the world... >:D
Lord Entropy would be a quiet, mysterious-looking guy in a hoodie, who lives in a romantically decaying house on the outskirts of town and listens to the Mountain Goats and other similar bands, occasionally venturing forth to explore the streets.
Darkling would be a partly British guy, capable of time traveling, who works undercover for the FBI or something and extremely dislikes zoodles.
Jaybells would be a tall, elegant person who spends lots of time exploring the woods, studying languages by night, and writing. Probably would work as a designer of some sort (fashion or interiors, perhaps?), or a detective.

A 47 year old guy who lives with his 15 and a half cats and never leaves the house. He sells garden gnomes online to make a living and participates in ancient eldritch rituals involving spoons.
