SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Wooh hoo!!! It's finnally here!!!!!!!!!! :D:D:D:D:D I'm SO happy!!!!!!!! :D:D:D:D  Actually, this was our third snow, but it was definetly our best, and it's still here!!!!! :D:D:D:D When I woke up this morning (10:00), the first thing I realized, was that my mom never came in to wake me up (my alarm clock is broken...), and I noticed that my fan was off.  It turns out that we had a HUGE icestrorm, the electricity went out, and my mom decided to let me sleep in!  The first snowday of the year!!! :D:D:D Yippee!!! :D:D:D We went to Dunkin Donuts (Mr. Bagel was sadly closed...) for breakfast and, when we got back, the lights were back on! :D:D:D The snow is only a few inches deep, but it's perfect building snow!!! :D:D:D:D EVERY SINGLE THING outside has a one-inch layer of ice (except the ground, for some reason...)!  It's so pretty!!!!  I grabbed my camera and took a ton of pretty pictures!  I woudl show you them, but I obviously can't. :):):) All I can say is, it's the prettiest thing in the world!! No one can look at this and not believe that there is a Creator.  It's so amazing! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

P.S.  Other Mainahs', did you get all the pretty ice, too, or is it just Gorham?  Zoe, you live a few minutes away; did you get any? :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Hee, hee, hee, hee, hee, hee, hee, hee!!!!

Way up north here, in the land where the moose run free, we had snow in September.  And I mean real snow.  That is so not normal.

We got snow here the 12th and right now we have about 4 inches. (I just went outside and measured it !) Not that much ice here, but there is a big icicle on the mailbox. My alarm clock works, but this morning when it went off I tried to stop the beeping by opening my glasses case!LaughingLaughingLaughingLaughingLaughingLaughingLaughingLaughingLaughingLaughingLaughing!!!!!!!! In a while I figured out that the way to turn off the alarm I would have to press a button! Once I was completely awake I looked out the window and saw snow everywhere ! We got our Christmas tree today, and on Tuesday the high temperature for the day will be 13 degrees Fahrenheit, and the low tempture will be 5 degrees!

The icecles are still surviving, but the snow turned into a 1/4 inch layer of ice.  It's really dangerous to walk outside. :( Oh well!

You all are SO lucky! I've only seen snow once, in Yellowstone on the side of the road in July, which I don't think counts. I've been trying to convince my mom to go somewhere with lots of snow for the past several years, but she HATES cold, which is part of the reason she and my dad moved to Florida. I wish there was snow here! In FL, "winter" is defined as, "Oh, hmmm, its 55 degrees this morning. That's odd, because yesterday it was the normal 70 or so. Better dig out my sweater from under ten layers of dust!"

Okay, so maybe I don't want it that cold! But summer in Florida is KILLER. 90 degrees and up, not factoring in humidity. YUCK!

I used to live in Maine. Right now Burma is in its cool season. Around 70 degrees, usually much hotter. If I still lived in Maine I would be really hot, but 70 degrees is cold for me.

Hey, wait a second!  Did you go to Yellowstone this year?!?!?!??!!  I was there in July!!!!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D

Yeah, I love Florida, but I'd miss the snows.  Tell your mom she'd like Maine.  Yes, the economy sure isn't the best, but the weather is great (most of the time).  In summer, some people (not my mommy and brother) can swim in the ocean, and all can swim in the lakes.  In winter, we ussually get a few feet of snow, so it's awesome!  We don't have any right now, though, but we're due to get some soon! :D:D:D:D:D:D

Some people still don't have their electricity!!!!!!! (It went out when I started this thread!)
