Friends.I'm makin

Friends.

I'm making too many threads, aren't I?  Oh, well...  How many friends does everyone have?  Does anyone have a best friend?  What are they like?  I only have one friend.  When I was like, eight, I had a lot of friends, but since we moved away when I was nine, I don't have any... :(:(:(  I used to have a best friend, but as we grow older, our differences drifted us apart.  She likes princesses, while I like tigers, for example.

That's so sad!! I know how you feel. Lots of people I thought were my friends don't ever hang out with me anymore. For example, last year there was this boy who I thought was my friend, But we moved a few blocks away and he hasn't called since. I THOUGHT WE WERE FRIENDS!! He must think I'm a baby or something. One thing I don't like about homeschooling is that you're so isolated. It's hard to make friends. :(:( Okay, I'll stop my rambling now. :)

I don't want to be mean or anything, but I have to disagree. Homeschooling does not make you isolated, and whether or not you have friends has nothing to do with school. There are plenty of oppurtunities for homeschoolers to get out in the world and make friends.

Sigh . . . I know you're right. I just think negatively sometimes. Don't get my wrong--I LOVE being homeschooled, I wouldn't want it any other way--but I don't live in a neighborhood, and there are no other kids anywhere. I guess if I went to school, it would be different, though. I mean . . . well, anyway, I don't agree with myself! I guess I could just take a class, like drawing or dancing, but everything here is in French . . . *is deep in thought*

Aww, I'm so sorry about you and your friend! :(:(:( The same thing happened to me and my BFF, who I'll call, ummmmmmmmmmmmm, oh I can't think of a name.... Oh! The name of the character in all my stories, Keira! OK, so the same thing happened to me and Keira. Ever since first grade, we were with each other EVERY SINGLE DAY (even Christmas!!!)!!! Then, slowly, two other girls started to hang out with us, mostly because of her. Now, I call "Keira" on the phone, and she usually fakes an answer as to why she's busy, like she has to go shopping or something. A minute later, I see her and the other two walking around the neighborhood (I accidently typed "neighbordoom"! Hee, hee, hee! It sort of fits...). Right when I was going through all of that, I met this AMAZING girl at my camp, who I'll call, ummmmmmm, Elizabeth (the other girl who's always in my stories!). I told her about everything (friendships, and my being diagnosed with Crohn's), and she listened. It was the first time in years that anybuggy listened. I was so happy. I had a friend. We e-mailed each other once a week, until it was camp again. That year was even better then the last. She sacrificed signing up for drama, since she knew I hate acting, and signed up for missions with me. It was great to have a friend. :) When we got home, we e-mailed each other every day. On the day before camp, she told me "Paige, you are the best friend I could ask for. You are a true friend." At camp, I waited for her at the sign in gazebo. And waited. And waited. Nervous that something had happened to her, I asked people if they had seen her. No one had. Eventually, I saw her walking towards the gazebo. I rushed to meet her! I said hi, then she looked at me with this look of disgust, and said, "Oh, hi," in a sarcastic tone. "What do you want?" The rest of the week was horrible. She formed a clique with my other friend and another girl. I could barely talk to them. The only time she came to me, was when she thought the other two were talking behind her back. She made up with them in a minute or two. Fortunatly, C. (whom I've mentioned before), and two of her friends, were put in my cabin! We had a great time getting to know eachother. I'll try to get C. to come here! :D:D:D

Thanks, BellaTrix.  I'm still trying to figure out why in the world she did that.  I mean, did I say something that offended her?  On my second year of camp, she invited a girl, who I was friends with, too.  She didn't come back, but she won't even e-mail me!  I don't know why! :( There are these twins, whom I'm good friends with, but they moved to WA, who were the people who had originally invited the girl to camp.  They are still keeping in touch with me, so I might ask them why she did that. You're a great friend! :D

I feal so sorry for you! People can be so mean. My friendship story isn't nearly as interesting or sad but here it goes (I changed some facts for my own privacy, including my name and all that) :

I used to be really good friends with two girls hmmmm.... A and B. I would sleep over at A's house all the time, and B would sleepover at mine, they'd come over after co-op... I mean, we were good friends. We'd do fun things together and talk about all sorts of things. But then A's mom was diagnosed with a disease, and she couldn't homeshcool any more. So A started going to a real school. I didn't see much of her at all.. I guess you could call me a derilect friend- I only called her once after she started school, to invite her over - but she couldn't come. I also sent her an invitation to my birthday party some months later, but she never RSVPed. Maybe she didn't get the card, or maybe she forgot, I don't know. I mean come on, it wasn't her fault, she was really busy! Where was B during this time? Getting ready to move. They both live about half an hour away from me so the only time I really saw them was at co-op and when they came over; so with her busy getting ready for the move, I barely saw her! Our co-op fell apart cause A and B's mom's were basically in charge of the whole thing, so I was left "friendless". But then things got worse for me. B's family descided not to move, or they couldn't sell their house, something like that. In the time before this we started going to a different co-op, where there was no one who really wanted to hang out with me. My mom loves it though, so we're not changing now. B and A aren't really in touch either as far as I know. Well, B now is like best friends with a different girl, who i don't really like all that much (envy?), and A *gulp* is best, I mean BEST, friends with a girl at my new co-op. I've tried talking to them but they don't seem that interested. I don't know if it's me or them!! They're not being mean though, I'd never say that, but I'm just so lonely for a friend.Cry

Sorry that's so long, I've never really had a chance to pour it all out. *thanks everyone who had the patience to read it !! :)

I'd march right up to her and smack her right in the face. Well, not really. But I'd sure want to REALLY bad. Paige, I don't see why anyone would do that to you! She is just plain mean!!!!! If I could meet you, I'd NEVER do that!!!! I'd be at your side all the time! (Well, not all the time because I have to go to school, but most of the time!)
