I speak English (fluently ;)), I am learning French and Latin, and I am contemplating teaching myself Quenya.

I know English!!! :) I'm learning Spanish and I know a little bit of Latin. ZNZ, what's Quenya??? I've never heard of it...Oh, and where's Thulcandra???

English, Latin, Sindarin, Quenya, and I have to teach myself German if I'm going to Germany this summer....
@PrincessP- One of the two languages of the Elves in the Lord of the Rings-Sindarin is the other. I prefer Quenya, although it's hardly ever used. A avatyaranye, toronya, a avatyaranye.....Ar ilye tier undulave lumbule.....
That was random.:)

I speak English and am learning Latin for school.
(March 10, 2011 - 5:59 pm)
Oh, by learning French officially, I meant I'm learning it for school.
And since I'm Canadian, in American schools, is it usual to have a Latin class? (I know most of you guys are homeschooled, but I find the question worth asking.)

I speak English, can communicate in Spanish (I've been taking it three years), know some ASL but I'm starting to forget some also, and I can write in Quenya and Sindarin. I know very few words actually in the Elven languages though; I can just translate English to Elvish writing.
I don't think it's very common to take Latin as a class at school, at least not where I live.

Written or Spoken? Well, in written, I know so much English, it sometimes surprises me ;) I know tid-bits of Ancient/Modern Greek. I can read basic and moderate Spanish, I've been taking it since I was a little baby dude. And I can read a phrase in a different language, maybe figure out what it means, but usually I can know what language it means. In spoken I kinda sorta know Greek, but not enough to make an understandable sentence. I fluently speak English. Some would think that I grew up with that language! I can make a few paragraphs in Spanish. Like I said, I've been learning it since a little baby dude.

I speak English and French, and I'm going to learn Spanish in a year or two.

How many languages do I speak? Only one, and it's called English, you might have heard of it. I'm in the process of learning Latin. NOT easy. All I can say without messing up the tenses and number and gender and declensions or conjugations is "Salvete! Nomen mei Mary Jo est." Haha. >:P (Hello! My name is Mary Jo)

I speak English (obviously ;)) I know a lot of Latin and I am learning Spanish, which is quite fun. :) I love learning different languages!
@MJ: Salve! Nomen mei Kimberly est. Nomen tui amo. :)
(I hope that's correct, I get confused with genders sometimes! ;) Latin is pretty hard, but it can be pretty fun too!)

Re: Learning Latin: My school doesn't actually offer it; I take it via an online school, in addition to my other classes.
@Princess P: Re: Quenya: Elvish. Re: Thulcandra: It's Earth, the Silent Planet. Space Trilogy, C.S. Lewis. READ EET.
@MJ, Kimberly: Salve, amicae! (Hello, friends!)
(March 11, 2011 - 8:10 pm)
@ZNZ: Salve amicus! :) Latina amo...
Salve, Kimberly,
