Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Does any one

Does any one here go to public school?  When I go through Down to Earth there are a ton of threads for homeschoolers but none for non-homeschoolers :(  Anyway if you do go public school feel free to write your horror stories, worries, and advice for our about-to-go-to-actual-school-after-being-homeschooled-their-whole-life friends.

On Wednesday I took my English (exam of DOOM!) and Latin (which was super easy).  Thursday I took Math and History which were both OK.  And then on Friday we had a snow day, so I don't have to take my biology and French exams untill Tuesday!  Hooray!  Finals are at the end of the year.  So I won't take them until the last three days of school (I think).

I had my midterms this past week, but I'm on a four-day weekend! Friday and Monday no school. I've always been public schooled, from kindergarten until 7th grade (now). I, personally, would hate being homeschooled, because I generally love going to school. Sure it has its pitfalls, but everything in life does, plus I love chorus and seeing my friends every day. I don't mean to offend anyone who likes homeschooling; I'm just saying that homeschooling wouldn't be for me.

Waaaaaaaaaaah!!!! I got a 78% on my English exam. *sob* I can't believe it.  I thought I did really well. *tear* I'm so dissapointed and I tried so hard. Cry  I got really good grades on my other three exams though (A's).  But I still can't believe that I did sooo bad.

Oh!  I'm so sorry!!  I guess that a 78% is better than a 54%. :) And I was wrong.  My brother is taking exams.  He just never told me.  Are you a junior?

Emily. Oh, back to the Emily discussion--I know two people named Emily (Not counting Emily L.) and they are very very nice people. One of them is my age (and is like 5' 8'' or something) and one is 3 years younger than me (my sister's friend).

Nope I'm a sophmore (I can't believe I don't know how to spell that Embarassed)  I really like my school, just not my english teacher...I really hope she never reads this.  But my mom told me of a way to deal with her, and it's supposed to work on all kinds of people!  You have to treat them dogs (not bad but...I'll explain).  So whenever a teacher/person you don't like says something mean you don't respond at all, and when they do or say something nice then you respond positively!

Example: (teacher) you all are going to fail the test  (students)...............

(teacher) how was you're weekend?  (students) Good!

See?  You can actually TRAIN people.  I really hope it works!  Then I will have vanquished the monster that is my english teacher (mwahaha)
