I'M IN!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so psyched for the new book coming out soon!

Name: Claudia Rowell

Age: 13

Appearance: Short blond hair that hangs around her mouth, often has one or multiple streaks running through it, gangs that hang down toward her eyes. Large, striking black eyes, pale skin, warm, cocky sort of grin. Wears a dark blue t-shirt, black vest with an assortment of pins from various bands and groups she likes, black jeans, navy blue high tops.

Personality: Nerdy, likes to be by herself, quiet, self conscious. Is somewhat sarcastic and slightly rude when you first meet her Warm and friendly in a shy sort of way, once you get past her barriers.

She's good at: Memorizing facts, reads a lot, knows a lot of things, not necessarily Disney things, just stuff. Computer genius, and hacker extrordinaire (I'm sorry Claudia, but I HAD to!) A very fierce fighter.

Other: Lives with a busy aunt who never really pays attention or has time for her. Tragic backstory kind of thing where she lost her older brother.  Deeply afraid of water.

Eeeeekkkk! Can't wait to start!

You know, I didn't know there were people out there that liked Kingdom Keepers as much as I did until I joined the CB.  Aside from my sister, you two and Princess P (she doesn't post anymore) are really the only ones I've seen who have read it.

I'm going to start Lizzie now.
i couldn't believe it!!! I'm going to be a DHI! I quickly eat my breakfast, which was pancakes, and bolted to the door. My mom was already waiting for me. I got in and we drove to Disney. When I got into the room they told us to go to it was packed! Then a man with a clipboard and a name tag saying Mike came over to me. He said "Hi you must be one of the DHIs! What's your name?" I answered "Robin Colowen." He checked me on the clipboard and said "you are the first one here! Why don't you wait for the others over there!" He was pointing at some couches. I went over and sat waiting for the others to get here.
I'm going to stop here and let you guys decide who comes in next!!

Okay then, I'll go ahead and start with Claudia!

Claudia ~

I leaned against a handrail, the monorail quickly winding its way around a curve. People of all ages were crowded into the compartment, children eagerly bobbing up and down on their parents laps, awaiting their first look at the kindom of magic. I laughed quietly, trying to remember my eagerness when I first saw Disney World at that age. But that was a long time ago, when my parents and Marcus were still here.

I quickly shoved memories away as the monorail screeched to a halt. I straightened, tucking my skateboard under my arm. I emerged into the blinding sunshine and searing heat. I wound my way down the ramp, heading directly toward the ticket office.

"Claudia Rowell," I say to one of them. They nodd at somebody in the back, and I'm led around behind the offices to a large warehouse type building.

"Claudia Rowell," I say again in a trained voice to a man with a clipboard, and a nametag reading Mike.

"Great! We'll be beginning soon," he said. waving me toward a couch where a girl around my age already sat.

"Hi!" She says, extending her hand. "I'm Lizzie."

"Claudia," I replied, awkwardly shaking her hand. Instead of sitting down, I assumed a position leaning against the wall. I leaned my skateboard against my legs, and watched the Disney employees finish setting up what I assumed would be the stage we were to "perform" on.

*********************************************************************

I realized I just basically put myself into this RP, personality wise.

I'm just gonna go ahead and do my next one cause I really don't want this to die!!!

Lizzie~

Mike came over to us and said "the others are gonna be a little late but let's get started!" He lead us each to a different person. Mine was a girl with a name tag saying Gloria. She took me to a room with a bunch of hair and makeup stuff. She said "now I will make you gorgeous!" She put my ginger hair into a braid and put a little bit of makeup on me. Then she took to a room filled with clothes and picked out some jeans, and a blue tie dye splash mountain shirt. She told me to put them on then she took me back out to the big room.

I don't want this to die, so I'll go ahead and write.

Claudia ~

Mike told us to go ahead and get started, so we were ushered toward our stylists. Mine was a perky woman named Lacey who led me to a small and overcluttered room, filled with makeup and hair styling things. Most of which I had never seen before in my life.

She placed me in a seat in front of a lit up mirror, and squinted hard at my reflection.

"Your hair," she mused, fingering it.

"What about it?" I asked, staring at my reflection. As a general rule, I avoided mirrors, unless I was changing the streak color in my hair.

"Oh nothing, it's just difficult to work with when it's cut like this," Lacey said, moving to gather some hair styling equipment. She quickly brushed it out, then spent time deciding how best to style it. She finally decided to braid a strand, and pin it back a little ways from my face with a silver star clip.

She then started in on the makeup. I tried very hard to sit still, though I know I fidgeted. I hated makeup. I found it entirely pointless, plus, only stuck-up girls ever wore it.

Thankfully, she didn't do much. She lined my eyes with a navy blue pencil liner, making my black eyes all the more striking in my pale face. A touch of mascera and blush, and she proclaimed me ready for wardrobe.

She soon had me in a deep turquoise Merida t-shirt, mid-thigh length denim shorts, and combat boots.

(I am such a HUGE Brave fangirl, it's not even funny.)

I was then led out toward the stage, ready for my debut.

(Since someone mentioned a monorail, I'm going to put us in Epcot.  Is that okay?  I just figured it would work best since there's a ton of unused buildings in that park.)

Georgia-

I don't act.  I prefer tennis.  I honestly didn't think I was good at acting until I got past the auditions to become a DHI.  Disney must have thought differently.  I suppose I have to call myself an actor now that I'm making my debut.  It's still unbelievable to me that I even made it.  I'm sure Wanda had something to do with it. I've loved Disney for so long and to now be a part of it is amazing.  I've always thought my name would lend well to a Disney character.  Georgia Banks.  It even shares the last name of the family in Mary Poppins!

The filming was done in Epcot, in one of the buildings that's empty now.  I was running late, so I had to rush in.  I quickly gave my name to the guy at the door.  His name was Mike and he seemed really nice but I honestly didn't have time to chat.  I was already being rushed into the makeup chair and then wardrobe.  By the time I was done, I was in a red and white polka dotted skirt, a gray Minnie Mouse tee shirt, and cheetah ballet flats, of all things.  My face looked like it had been attacked by an angry gang of Crayolas.  My stylist, Floretta, was really nice, but she honestly didn't know my personality.

On my way to the stage, I passed Wanda.  She was dressed in  the generic blue polo and khakis of a Future World CM.  Her name tag read "Annie".  She had obviously pilfered it from a locker room in DHS, since it had alien letters under it characteristic of a Star Tours name tag.    She giggled, obviously after seeing my outfit.  "Wrong name tag, Annie," I hissed at her.

"I know, but no one's noticed," she replied quietly.

Lizzie~
They took me out to a stage and had me read a script and do all kinds of movement. It was finished really quickly. I stayed until everyone had gone then I went home to go to sleep.

I like the Epcot idea! Though I've never been. Well, not that I can remember. But my mom wants to go since they brought back Figment (you should have SEEN her when she found out. I think my mom's a bigger fangirl than I am.)

Claudia ~

I felt horribly out of place up on the stage. We were hooked up to a bunch of moniters and a microphone, then placed up in front of a green screen.

"Just repeat the lines and movements we tell you with a big smile, and you should do fine!" Mike said, making a last minute adjustment to my microphone. I nodded, still not totally sure about this. I only did it cause Aunt Janie came home with an article about it, ranting about me being "perfect for the part" and something about college. How she got that idea, I have no idea.

"Ready, and action," Mike hissed from somewhere off stage.

***

I wasn't sure how long I'd been up there, but my legs throbbed from standing up, my smile felt plastered to my face, and I thought I was going to die from heatstroke.

"That was miserable," I grumbled, thowing myself onto the sofa in front of a fan. It should be against the law to act under spot lights in the middle of Florida summer.

"You said it," the new girl, Georgia, I think her name was, said sitting down beside me, followed closely by Lizzie.

"Are we done?" Lizzie asked, panting and trying to fan herself with her hand.

"Yes, great job kids," Mike said, striding up. He wore the customery Disney employee grin. I wondered if it was in their job description to smile like that all the time. "Your stylists are going to get you out of costume, and your parents should be coming to pick you up soon."

I sighed with relief. Finally, I was going to get this horrid makeup off!

I'm a huge fan of Figment, too.  I have a little collectible Figment Vinylmation collectible figurine (Special Edition Sweater Variant) & a Figment nightshirt.  Tell your mom the new ride isn't as cool as the original was (I haven't been on the original but it sounds ahh-mazing) but is still really fun- it's one of my family's favorites.:)

Georgia-

They made me stand on a stage and recite lines.  I was hooked up to motion-capture thingies and had to move around a lot.  Every time they called cut, the cheesy smile immediately disappeared and I slumped down.  The skirt they made me wear was constantly riding up and I'm sure the makeup was sweating off.  Wanda was giggling the whole time.  I'm sure she was getting a kick out of seeing me acting like a bright little ray of sunshine.  I wasn't always all sarcastic and woe-is-me, but I was never as vapid and annoyingly cheerful  as I was being forced to act.

Finally, I was able to just sit on the couch they had in the other side of the studio.  They had snacks and I immediately piled some fruit on a plate.  It felt like I had sweated out all the nutrients in my body under those awful torture devices called 'stage lights'.  Mike said we'd be able to change out of our costumes, soon, which was good because the skirt made me really self-conscious.  It was so short I could barely move for fear of flashing everyone.

Lizzie and Claudia were already sitting down on the couch.  They seemed just as hot as I was and Claudia seemed even more miserable.  We all lamented the fact that we had to be under stage lights in the heat and hoped we would be able to go back into the air conditioning soon.
