I don't want this to die, so I'll go ahead and write.

Claudia ~

I felt much more comfortable in my regular clothing. I walked down the hall, heading toward the studio, adjusting one of the many pins on vest.

"How did she do?" I heard Aunt Janie's perky yet clipped voice before I even entered the room. "She's such an outgoing, ready for adventure type girl, I knew she'd just love this opportunity!"

I nearly burst out laughing. That's Aunt Janie for you. I would bet money she knew her secretary better than she knew me. Sure enough, she didn't even notice when I walked in. She was too busy "talking" to Mike, and tapping away at her phone.

"Ready to go?" she finally asked when she looked up. I nodded.

"Well, thank you, Claudia," Mike said, smiling. Though this time, I felt like the smile was really genuine. "I'm sure we'll see again soon."

I gave a small smile and a nod.

"I'll, uh, see ya'll around," I said to Georgia and Lizzie. Then I turned and followed Aunt Janie out of the studio.

Sorry, life's been hectic for me lately.  I'm back now, though!

Georgia~

Wanda was my ride home, so I had to wait for her when I was done.  I had brought a book and was just planning to read it in the lobby, but Wanda had other ideas.  She handed me one of those bracelets they're testing out as admission.  It was black and featured Lightning McQueen.  "What innocent little boy did you filch this from?"

"It's my dad's."  I laughed at the thought of Wayne owning something like that.  "He keeps it so we can lend it out to people to get in the park.  It has unlimited admission.  Go explore.  I'll meet you at the Fountain View Starbucks after IllumiNations."

"Do my parents know I'll be staying that late?" I asked.  IllumiNations wasn't set to start until 9:30 that night.

"Yeah, I called your mother and cleared it with her.  She said you could use a special treat to celebrate your accomplishment.  Here's fifty bucks spending money."

I quickly pulled out my smartphone and got myself two Fastpasses: one for Soarin'  and one for Test Track.  I was going to make the most of this day at Disney, since Epcot was my favorite park.  I was also going to get like seven mango green tea slushies from the China pavilion.  Those are my favorite.

Claudia ~

The car ride home could be summed up in one word: monotonous. Aunt Jane somehow kept up a one-sided conversation the whole way. And half of it took place on her blue tooth, so I could never tell if she was talking to me or some client.  The only time I could tell she was talking to me was when she mentioned either"the college fund" or "being a star". I didn't mind the first so much, though the latter made me want to crawl in a hole. I hated the idea of being famous. I lived to be unnoticed, unseen, and unheard. So long as my grades were satisfactory, I could get away with it. I prayed quite hard that becoming a DHI wouldn't change anything.

***

For the longest time, I couldn't get to sleep. When I finally did, I wish I hadn't. I blinked my eyes open, staring around for a second.

Dreaming. Yup, I'm dreaming, I thought as I stared around. My surrounding looked exactly like, well, Disney World. Magic Kingdom to be exact. I lay sprawled out in the walk area, Cinderella Castle rising up behind me. I glanced down my clothes, surprised to find I was still in my baggy tank top and ragged shorts that I got away with calling pajamas. Usually, in my dreams, I was dressed completely out of the ordinary, like in a dress, or skirts and blouses, or pretty much whatever other girls typically wore. But then again, most of my dreams were nightmares.

"Ah, so the first one arrives," said an old looking dude with white hair and striking blue eyes. He sat on a nearby bench, lounging back as if randomly waking up in the Magic Kingdom in the middle of the night was perfectly normal. But his face was one of humor, and he chuckled mildly when he looked at me. I knew I looked a sight, with street clothes pajamas and frizzy, rat's nest hair.

"Sit," he ordered, waving to the vacant seat next to him. I wasn't totally sure what was going on, so I decided to play along. Maybe if I was lucky, my dream wouldn't turn too horrific.

"Amazing, isn't it?" the guy asked. Now that I was up close, I could see a nametag that read Wayne.

"Uh, yeah," I said. He chuckled.

"Do you know why you're here?"

"Not really."

Wayne laughed again.

"You will soon, Claudia." He pulled what looked like a remote control out of his pocket, except it only had one button.

"Wait, what?" I asked, but he pushed the button, and I suddenly jerked awake again, back in my bedroom. I sat up, looking around to make sure I was really home. But everything was as I fell asleep. The same purple walls, computer light blinking even though it was on hybernate, the posters, bookshelf, figurines, everything. Yet the dream had felt so... real. I lay back down and frowned up at the ceiling, replaying the dream in my head.

"Weird," I muttered, closing my eyes again.

I hope it's okay that I went ahead and did the whole meeting Wayne thing. Besides, the nature of these RPs seem to die off quickly.

It's because there's only three of us.:P

Georgia~

I fell asleep on the car ride home that night.  It was inevitable; I'd had a LONG day.  As we rode past the orange groves of central Florida, I slowly closed my eyes.

When I opened them, I was in the Magic Kingdom.  Above me, moonbeams glinted off the castle.  I smiled at it, remembering everything that had happened here.

"Good evening, Georgia," a voice called from behind me.  I whirled around.

"Oh, hey Wayne.  Thanks for lending me your bracelet today," I replied.

He chuckled, "I have a feeling you'll be easier to convince than the rest of them."

"Convince?"

"Well, yes.  You see, you are already conversing with me as if we're not in a dream."

Oh, right, I was dreaming.  But, wait, how would I know it's a dream if I'm still in it?  My dreams are normally random and not easy to understand.  I'm surprised I was both aware and having an intelligible conversation.

"I have a feeling this isn't a dream," I said, voicing my suspicions.  He just smiled, took a black fob out of his pocket, and pressed a button.

I woke up in the car with Wanda.  We were parked in my driveway.  She smirked at me.  "Did you just see my dad?"  In response, I muttered a string of expletives under my breath.

To keep this alive until KingdomKeepersRule returns...

Claudia ~

I was thoroughly exhausted the following day, and kept nodding off in class, earning me several stern glares. I grimaced as I walked down the hall, avoiding looking at the poster hanging on the bulletin board. "Coming Soon! Disney Host Interactives!" I'm pretty sure this same poster was hanging in every school, super market, and gas station in Florida. Thankfully, they were just silhouttes of general boys and girls, prefering instead to keep the "mystery models" identites a secret until the grand unveiling.

I sank down at one of the tables in the back corner of the cafeteria, opening a book, and trying to be unnoticed by the general student poplulation. Therefore, I was surprised by the clatter of another tray. I looked up to see Georgia standing above me.

"Hi," she said smiling, sitting down opposite. I didn't say anything, just placed my bookmark in my book and shut it, staring at her slightly.

"What?" she asked.

"Well, nothing, just, uh, what are you doing here?"

She rolled her eyes as if this should be obvious.

"So, what did Wayne tell you?" she asked.

"Nothing, the old coot, he just... hey wait a minute. How did you know about that stupid dream?" I said, pushing my untouched tray aside, leaning forward.

"It wasn't a dream, and I saw him too. We were really in the Magic Kingdom last night."

"Uh huh, and I'm not really in school right now, this is Wonderland, right? Is this the Mad Tea Party?"

Georgia smirked. "I don't know what it means, but we both woke up in Disney World last night, and I imagine Lizzie did too. I don't know why, but I guess we'll find out."

Georgia~

Claudia had woken up in Disney World, too.  I don't know how or why, but this was affecting two out of three of the DHIs.  Wanda obviously knew something, but she wasn't telling me anything and her dad had gone AWOL.  The only way I knew how to get answers was to hope I'd wake up there again.

"I'm not sure if I believe you," Claudia said slowly.  I got up to throw away what was left of my lo mien noodles.  She followed me.  "It's just," she gestured in the air, grasping for words, "physically impossible."

"I know, but I know Wayne," I replied.  She gasped.  "His daughter, Wanda, is best friends with my mom.  Anyway, I woke up in the car with Wanda and she asked me if I had just seen Wayne.  Also, don't you find it weird you were aware that you were supposed to be asleep the whole time?"

"Yeah..." she said, "well, there's only one way to test our theory.  Fall asleep at nine tonight, on the dot.  If we're right, we'll meet up there together."

"Okay, I'll text Lizzie and tell her to do it, too."

Side note: I feel like I always end up writing a cafeteria scene where my character is eating Chinese food in these roleplays.

With Lizzie notified, and aware of the plan, I was, I admit, a little anxious to see what our results would be.

"I'm going to bed now," I said when the clock struck 8:00. Now, any normal parent would have been surprised, possibly worried, and at least a little curious why their child, who never goes to bed before 2 am, would be anxious to get to sleep before nine o'clock. But Aunt Jane merely said absently;

"Yes of course dear, g'night."

"Night," I sighed, trudging upstairs. I wasn't worried about falling asleep. When I wanted to go to sleep, I would. It was almost like I could make myself fall asleep.

8:45

I turned out the light, where I had been reading briefly, said my prayer, and closed my eyes.

This time, I woke up in front of the train station, just inside the gates. The whole park was dark, the only sound that of the wind. I looked down at my body, surprised to see I was still in my tank top and shorts pjs. I also noted that I was glowing slightly.

"Phenomenal," I muttered. My mind immediately went to how it was possible, the technology behind it, etc, etc.

"Isn't it?" a voice said behind me. I looked over, only mildly surprised to see Georgia. Suddenly, a slight spark, and Lizzie appeared as well.

"Well, we're all here now," said Georgia.

*********************************************************************

How ironic, since my characters never end up eating their food.

Georgia~

"Well, what do we do now?" Lizzie asked.

"I have no idea.  Georgia?" Claudia said, looking at me.

"I think we should wait and see if Wayne will show up.  He seems to know what is going on." I replied.  Claudia sat down on the curb.  Lizzie followed.  I stayed standing up.  I wanted to be able to see EVERYTHING.  Disney World was my favorite place in the world, and this seemed to be the only way I could see it now.  The contract to become a DHI included a part that said I couldn't go into the park without permission, and according to Wanda, that was going to be hard to get.

Suddenly, we saw movement in the area of the firehouse.  The silhouette of a man stepped out from a door hidden in the side of the building.  Claudia and Lizzie stood up and brushed themselves off.  Claudia even went into a karate pose.  But the light had hit the silhouette and I wasn't scared.  "That's Wayne, guys," I whispered.

Claudia ~

I wasn't ready to be totally trusting of some figure that just stepped out of the firehouse, but Georgia seemed totally relaxed.

"That's Wayne, guys," she whispered, smiling.

"The old coot that talked to us last night?" I demanded, straightening, though I kept my body tense and ready.

"Yeah," she said striding forward.

"Georgia," the guy, Wayne, said warmly. Georgia smiled.

"Hi Wayne," she said.

"Ah, Claudia, Lizzy, lovely to see you again," he said.

"Likewise," I muttered. "But, you wanna explain this to us?"

Wayne laughed. "All in good time."

Just before we went in, something caught my eye.

"Is that... Is that DUMBO?!" I demanded, not quite believing it. Georgia and Lizzie were staring as well.

"Is it?" Wayne asked, looking at the same place.

"YEAH," I said emphatically. "Right there!"  The "little", though he was probably the size of me, elephant wandered calmly across the way, wandering off from his post in the Magic Kingdom.

"Amazing," Wayne muttered, then ushered us inside. He led us upstairs, and waved toward the sofa.

"Sit," he said, so we did.

"Now," Wayne said, rubbing his knees in a thoughtful manner. "Where to start."

*********************************************************************

I thought I'd let you do the explaining, Melody, because you're more knowledgable. I reread the series, though I don't know it as well as you.

Did anyone else *spoiler* totally flip when Dillard died? I literally jarred so I badly, I dropped the book, and refused to finish it for three days. I REALLY hope he doesn't stay dead! If he does, I will cry. So hard.
