Percy Jackson RP!!

Percy Jackson RP!!

Percy Jackson RP!!

Okay, so I'm not sure how many of you have read Percy Jackson, but I was thinking that we could write about people at Camp-Halfblood while the war is going on... Anyone want to join?

Please do! Not much of anyone is writing, and I can't cause I just wrote.

Alright, I'm definently not complaining!

Alexa~

"So who's Percy? I asked, taking the advantage of one of the few times Hailee let us rest. I could only figure out so much from what I heard.

"A child of the Big Three" Hailee said, brushing hair away from her face.

"Oh" Another camper had told me about the Big Three, and then tried to steal a few dollars out of my pocket. I noticed just in time, and smacked him across the face. It escalated into a huge fight, where a girl called Annabeth came in to... check the cabins? And broke it up. The boy's name was... Conner, I think. I silently vowed to get him at dinner.

"Anyways", Hailee said, standing up. "It's about dinner time, and we need to eat fast, because tonight is Capture the Flag" We silently followed her to the dining pavilion.

At dinner, I just so happened to sit by Conner at the Hermes cabin table, and accidentally stabbed him with my fork. Conner punchede me back. I kicked him. Then Chiron noticed and told us to stop.

Since Capture the Flag was that night, Hailee fitted Indigo and me with armor, and weapons (I didn't get my sun, but rathe ra bow and arrow, which I scoffed at)

Percy was still missing, and that caused a lot of commotion, but he would have been on the other side anyway. It was Hermes, Ares, Apollo, and Hephestaus against Athena, Aphrodite, (Although all they did was sit out the whole game and check their hair from what I heard) Demeter, and Dionysus.

I was told I was going to be a distraction, since I was a good runner, and would lure as many campers on the other side to get us with Hailee, a girl called Callen, and a few others, while another group would get the flag. I took a deep breath as the game began

Ok, I'll go ahead and write again. I don't want this to die! But wait, if we're going against Ares, wouldn't Calleen be on the opposing side?

Hailee ~

"Ready?" I asked grinning, adjusting one last strap on Indigo's armor. The two nodded.

We headed out with the rest of the Blue army. I was nervous about the cabins on our team. Aside from Athena, Ares had some of the biggest, strongest, and fastest kids on their side. I couldn't imagine what all Ares cabin had to trade in order to get those alliances. I was also surprised Clarisse had agreed to work with Apollo, what with the flying chariot feud still going. But hey, whatever it takes to win.

We forged across the river, making our base at the usual spot, Zeus' Fist, a large rock pile with a good vantage point, and easy to defend.

"Ready?" I hissed at Alexa, rocking back on forth on the balls of my feet. I was ready for action, and the tense silence that filled the woods energized me.

"Yup," she said, bow drawn. I too had my sword in hand, ready for any attack. Indigo nodded from the other side of Alexa.

We were to run in direct path toward the enemies flag, bringing as much attention to us as possible.

The Chiron blew the conch, and the game began. I counted silently in my head.

One mississippi, two mississippi... Until I got to ten.

"Come on!" I shouted to the member in my party. We sprang across the river, heading for the woods. In the distance, the sounds of clashing swords and swearing Ares kids echoed through the night. I could hear pounding footsteps nearby which for once, I hoped were heading toward us.

"Spread out!" I shouted, charging toward an Apollo kid who was quickly notching an arrow. The arrows were blunt, but if they hit a nerve point, they could temporarily paralyze that part of the body. These Apollo kids had wicked aim, and I wasn't about to stay in his range of fire.

He fired once, missing me by centimeters. I raised my sword, he quickly retreating. I heard more fighting nearby. Suddenly an Ares kid sprang out of nowhere, sword drawn.

We clashed for several minutes. But soon, I managed to side step his attack, and twist the blade out of his hand. Suddenly an arrow whistled past, grazing the side of my face, leaving a small gash. I turned and swung my sword, prepared to fight the assailent. but I was pleasently surprised to see Indigo already had it taken care of; the two clashing bronze on bronze.

Nearby I saw Alexa firing one arrow after another, knocking weapons out of opponents hands, or occasionally hitting pressure points. I rushed another Ares kid who was headed toward her, swinging my sword towards their leg, tripping them up slightly. I was mildly surprised the conch hadn't sounded yet. I could tell Indigo and Alexa were starting to tire, and so was I.

Sure. BHR, thanks for helping me keep this thread alive!

Alexa~

Knock and fire Knock and fire. My arrows found their marks (or close enough) repeatedly, hitting one Ares kid in the chest, another ruffled  the feathers on his helmet, another hit a camer so close to the eye that he stumbled backward, hit a tree root, and fell. Beside me, Indigo was fighting another camper, and Hailee had tripped up an Ares kid.

I kept shooting arrows at the opposing side until a familiar-looking girl tackles me. It was the girl who Hailee introduced us to at javelin  practice. Her name was Callen, if I had remembered correctly. She pushed me to the ground, knocking the air out of me. I gasped for breath and tried to punch her, but she was too strong. It either hadn't hurt her, or the punch landed on her armor.

The others in our group were fighting opposing campers, so they were no help. I knew that brute force wouldn't help, and probably not most weapons, since she was a child of Ares. I would have to use my brain.

Near us, there was a large rock. Just the size that if two people were wrestling, and they rolled over and over, then one person would hit their head on that rock. Just maybe, I could make that work...

I landed a few weak punches to let her think I was tiring. She looosned her grip a fraction of an inch, but not enough. I suddenly noticed that her sword was in her scabbard, which was tied tightly to her armor. I grabbed the hilt of the sword and wrenched it in the direction of the rock. To my surprise, it pulled her over. I was now on top of her. I didn't take advantage of it, just made it seem like it and let her pull me over.

Taking advantage of the momentum we created, I rolled over again, and Callen rolled over again. One more roll....

Suddenly, Callen noticed the rock. I held her tighter and rolled. Wam! She hit her head on the rock. But it didn't do much damage. She grabbed her sword.

Hailee ~

My mind went from thinking to automatic mode. Parry, swing, stab, deflect. Even the Ares kid I fought against was starting to wane. I did my best to keep Indigo and Alexa in my peripheral vision. Alexa was in trouble. Her and Calleen were rolling over one another. Suddenly Calleen's head slammed into a rock. Unfortunately, it didn't do much damage.

The kid I was fighting took advantage of my momentary distraction, slam his sword handle into the side of my face, then slamming me hard in the chest with his shield. I was thrown backwards, the air knocked out of me. I struggled to my feet, glancing over at Alexa just in time to see Calleen draw her sword. The Ares kid I was fighting was stalking up on me at the same moment.

Really?! I thought, gritting my teeth and deflecting his blow. Suddenly the conch blew, just before Callen could do any damage to Alexa.

"About time," I sighed. My whole body throbbed. I could already tell the side of my face was bruising, and I could feel blood trickling down my face and from my mouth.

"You alright?" I asked Alexa as we started heading out of the woods.

"Yeah," she said, rolling her shoulder and wincing.

"Ha, that's Capture the Flag for you. It's about the most competitive sport there is."

"No kidding," Indigo said, striding up. She looked battered and bruised too.

"You'll get used to it," I said laughing, but winced slightly at the pain in my face. We followed the band of cheering campers out of the woods.

***

The following day I had pulsing headache, though I ignored it. We sat at breakfast, the Athena and Ares kids exchanging looks, when Annabeth came running into the pavilion.

"It's Percy!" She shouted, waving her cellphone. Normally, half-bloods didn't have cellphones because it was like sending up a signal flare to monsters.

"He called, he said for us to meet him at the Empire State Building. He has a plan," she said.

**********************************************************************

I don't remember exactly how Percy called, but it never said anything exactly how the responded at Camp Half-Blood, so I just sort of threw an idea out there.

Sorry I haven't been posting!

Alexa~

I woke up late the day after the Capture the Flag game. No suprise, we had stayed up  practically all night singing stupid songs, roasting and eating marshmellows, and generally having too much fun to go to bed.

I dragged myself down to the dining pavilion, and was just about to shovel a huge mouthful of eggs when Annabeth came running into the pavilion, waving a cellphone. "It's Percy! He called, he said for us to meet him at the Empire State Building. He has a plan"

Immediatly, there was havoc. Campers jumped up and raced out of the pavilion, preparing for whatever Percy's plan was. Others, like me, shoveled down their food and then ran at top speeds for supplies.

Pushing my way through wads and wads of campers, I grabbed a set of armor that looked like it would fit, a sheild, and a few Band-Aids and medical supplies. I also stole my gun from the Big House (did they really think I didn't know where it was?) and bolted to where Argus was herding kids into two vans that said on the side, "Delphi Strawberry Service" I caught a quick glimpse of Indigo being shoved into the opposite van.

Inside the van it was... Not normal. The inside had the looks of a bus. Seats with no seatbelts, the works. I admired it for a second before finding a seat.

I sat down in a seat, and a boy with red hair and glasses sat down next to me. "Hi, I'm Conrad Smith" he said, offering his hand to shake. "What's your name?"

I shook the hand. "I'm Alexa. Alexa Young"

"Who's your parent?"

"I'm undetermined"

"My mom's Athena"

"That's who I'm hoping for as my parent" Although I wasn't so sure if everybody was like this guy. Luckily, I didn't have to talk to him any more, because he was staring blankly. He might have been staring at a girl with long red hair across the aisle.

Sorry it ended so abruptly. I didn't know what to write!

Yeah, yell at me for neglecting this RP . . . I'll write now. And I think I know who my parent will be (I'm thinking of Apollo) but I don't know when we can bring that in.

~Indigo~

The game of Capture the Flag was ever so much fun. I loved being able to feel the bow in my hand and watching the arrow sail through the air - right into the place where I intended it to. I took quite a few knocks, however. The next morning, I was tired out. The spot on the floor didn't exactly help my bruises and cut on my arm, and with so many kids in the room, it was pretty noisy - Conner snores in his sleep.

"Sleep well?" Hailee smiled as we trudged over to the dining pavilion.

I groaned, and then laughed, and Hailee laughed along with me. "Conner isn't exactly the quietest sleeper in the world," she said, quietly. We both started laughing again.

I sat down at the Hermes' table, squished between Hailee and Alexa. I was taking in a warm mouthful of the fluffy pancakes, when Annabeth ran into the pavilion, waving her phone. Her face was red, and her hair was a mess.

"It's Percy! He called, he said for us to meet him at the Empire State Building. He has a plan!"

Immediately, the pavilion was absolute chaos. Some kids forgot about their food, and ran to the armory. Some dashed to the cabins. I was no fool, and stayed a few minutes to eat up before grabbing a hot roll and racing to grab my backpack, some armor, and some bows and arrows. The quiver of arrows were slung over my shoulder for now, and, when no one was looking, I stuck a knife in the secret sheath in my boot.

Soon, I was shoved into one of the strawberry vans (Which looked exactly like a bus from the inside, with the exception that we couldn't see the driver. We even had windows!)  and took my seat. I looked frantically around, but couldn't see Alexa or Hailee anywhere. I sighed. The van was crowded, which meant that I would probably have to share a seat with someone I didn't know. I wasn't thrilled.

I stared out of the window at the Ares cabin, who were grimly staring at the filled buses. Some of them looked a bit wistful - but none tried to come into the buses.

When I looked up, a kind looking girl with blonde hair was sitting next to me, looking down with warm brown eyes. "Hi, I'm Nellly," she said. "Who're you?"

Alexa~

The girl had long, bright, red hair, freckles, and blue eyes. She was chatting happily away to another girl. Conrad kept staring into space. She kept chatting. I sighed and turned away to look out the window. There was blue sky and green grass. We passed a park with kids playing and laughing. I watched as a kid about six years old start to slide down a pole on a play structure and fall off. I watched his mother come running to him and comfort him. I wished I was that kid.

We kept moving, and everything else I saw was a blur. Kids riding on bikes, mothers being reunited with their long-lost friends, babies crying, everything. Suddenly, the van/bus stopped. "We have arrived at your destination," a mechanical voice informed us. "Enjoy selling strawberries or killing monsters." I stepped out of the car and was greeted by New York, bustling as usual. Little did I know that all of that was about to change.

Gah, sorry. I've been so busy.

Hailee ~

As soon as the pavilion errupted into chaos, I was hurrying off toward the Hermes cabin. I hadn't any appetite anyway. My thoughts were rushing in a whirlwind, and my heart pounded inside me. I grabbed an old, navy blue bag, the same one I had when I first arrived at Camp Half-Blood.

I thrust in an extra pair of clothes, my personal knife, some nectar, ambrosia, and bandages. I glanced around. The cabin was empty, with everyone still either up at the pavilion or hurrying off to gather weapons and provisions. I moved over to my bunk, slipping my hand into my pillow case. My fingers touched a cool metal, which I carefully drew out. A long, silver chain hung on my finger tips. In the middle hung a locket. M.M. was etched onto the front in fancy lettering. I held it in the palm of my hand, finally clicking it open. Inside was a woman with flowing, light brown hair, and bright blue eyes, and a teasing smile. It was no wonder Hermes had fallen for her.

I it clasped around my neck, tucking it beneath my shirt. I wasn't worried about it getting broken or lost. Years ago I had asked Beckendorf to reinforce the chain.

"What are you up to?" Travis said, striding in with Connor right behind.

"Nothing," I said quickly, moving back to my bag, buttoning it shut. They both looked at me, but quickly dismissed it.

"Come on," Travis said, leading the way out. "Argus is waiting."

---

I sat in between Connor and Travis as the vans wove their way into the city. I had no idea where Alexa and Indigo were, but I figured they were fine. The vans stopped in front of the Empire State Building, where we quickly disembarked. Annabeth was the first one out of the van, hurrying over to Percy, who stood in front of the building. I squinted at him, staring intently. Instantly I could tell there was something... different about him. I stared up at the Empire State Building. An onimous feeling filled me and I could sense, something big was coming.

Name: Susan
Turner

Age: 13

Parentage:
Hephaestus

Appearance: Very
small.  Blue eyes, strait, shoulder-length
black hair.

Personality:
Worries and feels guilty a lot.  Sense of
humor.  Very smart.  Trustworthy.
Always feels weak because she hates killing monsters.  Sensitive.
Cries a lot.  Quick temper.  Doesn’t like being told what to do.

Weapons: If
she has to fight, she prefers a knife.

Other:  Lived with her mother, an engineer.  The satyr Gleeson Hedge brought her to Camp
Half-Blood, where she was claimed almost immediately.  Loves to read, in spite of her dyslexia.

Susan~

I step off the bus.  Here I am, next to the Empire State Building,
maybe on the verge of war.  I laugh out
loud, and get some disdainful looks from my fellow demigods.  Not that that’s
unusual.  I try not to think about what’s
strapped to my side, but voices start playing through my mind.

Beckendorf, right before he left on
his quest with Percy: “I have to tell you: this, what you’re holding, can
change into any weapon, made of any material.
I’ve been wanting to build something like this for years, but when I
finally succeeded, I realized how dangerous it was.  I trust you with this, even more than Silena,
because you’re so peaceful.  I would’ve
waited to give it to you, but I have a bad feeling about this quest.  Do the right thing, Susan.  Please.”

            Then: “Percy’s back!”

            And: “Beckendorf’s dead.”

Finally, Annabeth: “It's Percy!  He called; he said for us to meet him at the
Empire State Building.  He has a plan!”

            Well
then, of course he does.  Hooray.  Perfect Percy is gonna save the day.

Oh, Beckendorf!  Why’d you have to go and die on me?  You took me under your wing when I came to
Camp Half-Blood last summer, showed me the ropes.  I loved you like a brother.  Then came the Battle of the Labyrinth, and you
helped me when I was scared out of my wits.
You trained me to fight monsters, even though I was reluctant.  You entrusted me with possibly one of the
most powerful weapons in the world.  And
now you’re gone.

            When
I got the news, I didn’t crumple like Silena.
I just stood there, stock-still, staring into space.  I couldn’t move.  I couldn’t think.  I couldn’t even breathe.  (Well, I guess I must have been breathing,
but I don’t remember that.)  After
everyone else had cleared out I was still there.  I don’t know how long I was there.  At long last, I trudged back to the
Hephaestus cabin and sobbed into my pillow.

            The
next day, when Annabeth told us to get ready to go to Manhattan, I shoved some
clothes, ambrosia squares in a Baggie, a canteen of nectar, thirty mortal dollars,
three golden drachma, and three peanut butter (no jelly) sandwiches into an
old, beat-up red duffel bag that I’ve had since age eight.  I strapped it (in Celestial bronze knife form) to my waist and scrambled
aboard the bus.

            “Hey,
earth to Susan.”  Hailee waves her hand
in front of my face, and it snaps me back to the present.  “There’s Percy!  C’mon!”
