New adventure/mystery RP!

New adventure/mystery RP! This is the first one I've ever started, so don't get mad if I mess up. I was thinking to do something where these kids are trying to figure out who is illegally hunting and selling animals in a rainforest. We need at least five people to join. Fill out this form for your character. I already put my answers.

I got a little lost as to where we are, but I'll just give this a shot.

Lacey ~

I hated being a Girl Scout more and more each day. Multiple times I had skipped meetings and went to the movies. I wish I could do that now. The only reason I stayed a Girl Scout at all was I had this devious idea that if we could take over the world. I had secret petition going right now. A few girls of like mind as me had signed, though most of them had just looked at me like I was insane.

I was so bored. We'd left our hike early when these two girls, Cara and Krystle I think they said their names were, had hunted us down and were now talking to Sapphire in her tent. The councelors were nowhere to be found when we arrived. Evidently, they hadn't expected us back so soon. Everyone was saying they had probably gone off to some spring or something to keep cool. I secretly thought they had decided returned to the airport to go home to America and leave us here to fend for ourselves. Of course I didn't voice this to anyone. I'm just paranoid about abandonment. This pestering thought kept eating away at me, nagging me, driving me insane. Finally, I knew I had to get out. Go do something, ANYTHING. I rifled through my bag and pulled out a set of green cargo pants, and a camo t-shirt. I didn't want to be spotted when I was hiking. Everyone wore too many vibrant colors for us to be able to see anything. I pulled up my hair and stuffed it into an army cap, tied my combat boots, and slipped out of my tent. Most of the girls were tucked away in their own tents, attempting to nap or avoid the heat and mosqitoes. I slipped my pocket knife into one of the pockets on my pants, and slipped toward the woods.

I almost made it when a voice said, "What are you doing?"

I spun around. Lizbeth stood behind me, arms folded. An evil, impish grin spread across my face.

"I'm doing something fun for a change."

"You can't leave, especially not by yourself," Lizbeth said, falling into her babysitter roll.

I snorted. "You can't stop me. You're not in charge. Besides, you can't tell me you aren't utterly sick of this place."

Lizbeth looked shocked for a few seconds, like she hadn't really expected me to defy her.

"Fine," she said after a several seconds. She glanced around. "Since I can't stop you, I have to accompany you."

It sounded more like a 'you're right I hate this place I'm coming with you' sort of answer.

"Suit yourself," I said grinning and led the way.

~Phillip

I sat on my bed reading the newspaper. The front page was labled:

POACHERS INVADE FARM

That had been the front page for over a month now. And I can see why those guys want to come to here, my hometown. It was not only home to me and my friends, amazing animals. Not like the occasional squirell or fox, I mean amazing. I dropped the newspaper and leaned back onto my pillow. But why can't they just leave my town alone? Why can't-

My thoughts were interuppted by a scream. From the woods. The amazing animal woods. I can't tell if it's human or not, but heck, I'm gonna find out.
