CB CRUSHES

CB CRUSHES

So someone under the name "Human" said they have an online crush on Red, which I find quite sweet (NO, I AM NOT SECRETLY "Human", I SWEAR). So, since we're all pretty much under pennames, I don't see any harm in confessing our true love for our fellow CBers.

Okay, not true love. Just go with it.

Personally, I have an online crush with Theo W.'s writing. Not, like, specifically HIM, but his writing. I just quite like it.

I don't really care about saying it, because none of you know me in real life (except you, Asher), so, yeah...

Also, I thought maybe we'd all be sort of more comfortable with each other if we opened up a little bit, because I hardly know anything about you. I mean, I know what sports you like, and what books you read, etc., but I don't know you all as people.

You can post under Anonymous, if you must, but I don't see the point in it. We're just online.

You're 15? For some reason, I always thought of you as 13 or something. Don't ask why. Wow, I can't believe you don't have a crush. I have a crush, but we don't date. Still, just seeing him is enough for me.

Glad to know my immaturity shows up so well. ;P

I guess the reason why I've never had a full crush is because there's no way for me to act on it. I can't exactly ask a girl out on my own and I'd feel really bad if I had to make Ruby do it. (Ruby's idea of physical contact means poking people once in a while and maybe a handshake two or three times a year. Socially, he's gone four years without going over to a friend's house. Asking someone out for my sake is waaay beyond "stepping out of his comfort zone" or even "being shot out of a cannon out of his comfort zone".) So whenever I start to think of a girl as more than a friend, I stop myself, and we just remain good friends. I'd much rather see someone happy than see them feeling uncomfortable because I tried to push my selfish feelings on them. So I just do what I can to make them happy, whether lending a metaphorical or occasional reluctantly real shoulder to cry on, or help them get together with someone else (which I've done once). If you care about someone, their happiness should come first, right?

If only I could fall in love with the world and find a way to make everyone smile.

I don't have a CRUSH on any CBers, and never will. How can you have a crush on someone you've never met? Anyway. There are some people on here that I like, though. Not romanitc liking, just liking as friends.

I like Blond Heroines Rule, because she seems like a super friendly, super sweet person. Also Teresa, because she was the first to welcome me to the CB. And MagicDragon, because from her writing I can tell she's kind of tough. And I like that in girls. Are you tough, MagicDragon? I haven't really gotten to know you personally. Maybe you can tell me more about yourself. I'd like to be friends with you.

I'm flattered. Well, you might say so, but the toughest thing I have done has been falling off a horse. Oh, hey, I brag a lot, too. A LOT. Here is one! I threw up in front of twenty people during showmanship....... I guess I act really tough. I have done many things many of you have not ever done. I mean, this is my life. I often overlook the fact that manyfolks out there aren't exposed to the animals that I am used to. Well, I'd better not brag too terribly much, I don't want to look TOO vain.

Hey, you can be my pal. It is fine by me. I actually want to be your friend, Bookbug.

I threw up in front of a bunch of people, too! I was at a doctor's office, and I was really sick, and I threw up everwhere. It didn't help that I had peach yogurt and a banana for breakfast.

I think I have a crush on Alice, just because she's always so nice and funny. Anyone else agree with me?

That's so sweet of you!! I'm not sure who you are, but I like you too (in a friendly way). I don't have a "real" crush on any CBers, but some have been especially nice to me and some are particularly amusing. FEP is hilarious, and I know she's a girl, but I find her particularly amusing somehow. She's quite fierce but at the same time really funny and friendly. I like reading what she posts. Ruby/Red are both really kind, as are Ivy, Moss, Nina, Writing Warrior, Mag Fan, Bookbug, and Ellie. BHR seems really sweet as well. Ruby seems to enjoy Alice in Wonderland almost as much as me, and drops so many Alice references that at times it's hard to keep up. Basically I've enjoyed getting to know everyone here! Know that I adore all of you:)

It was actually quite ridiculous how I went about hiding my identity.
