Annalise ~
Araxie helped Madame Pomfrey rub salve on my poison marked arm, then bandage it. It was dully throbbing now, making it difficult to move. Apparently it would be that way for a few days.
Holding back a groan, I stood, when suddenly there was a shout from the potions room, and the manticore gave an ear splitting shriek. Araxie dashed toward the classroom, followed closely by Professor McGonagall. After several minutes of silence, Sable was led from the room, her robe torn, but she seemed alright.
"The potions classroom is officially OFF LIMITS," Professor McGonagall proclaimed, magically sealing the door. "Everyone, return to your common rooms."
Araxie helped me back to the Gryffindor common room, then left for Ravenclaw.
"You okay?" I asked Sable once I entered the common room.
"Yeah, I'm okay. You?"
I shrugged my arm. "I'll live." I grinned impishly. "Even with these injuries though, we'll still beat the socks off the Slytherins!"
Sable grinned as well.

Meanwhile, Bartleby was still near the Slytherins.
" Oooh, a Hufflepuff! Going to go cry to your mummy, are you? Go on, it's-"
"Muffliato!"
Bartleby gaped as Araxie turned the corner. " come on, Bartleby, I'll tell you the news."
Araxie pulled him away, explaining as she did the countercurse for Muffliato.

"So, what' all this about a manticore? Thanks for what you did back there, by the way. And have we met before? You seem to know my name." I was full of questions.

"I know your name because I'm just observant. I noticed it was embroidered on your back left pocket. Anyway, I heard sounds in the potion room and found a manticore. Then Annalise came and helped me out, but she got a cut on her arm. So then a girl called Sable wanted to go down there, so I saved HER."

I nodded. Araxie and I eventually reached the potions room. "You save a lot of people, don't you," I say. Araxie nods. But before she can say anything else, a huge roar comes from the door of the potions room, followed by the sound of glass breaking, and lastly, a splash.

I bend over my Herbology homework, my back smarting as I stretch. I cannot help but wince, which Ethan is quick to notice. He gives me an I told you so gaze, and turn away, rolling my eyes. He says nothing, but continues on his homework, scanning the page.
" Hey, what's the answer to question five? The one about Balger Baxwood's most prized plant?"
" The luminescent Snarfalump" I return, pretending to ponder over the answer to question eight.
After a brief pause he begins again.
" You know, I shouldn't say anything but-"
" Then don't!" I interrupt.
" but... Tell me again. Why did you go after a full grown manticore? You had to be saved by me and a twelve year old, which is saying quite a bit."
" To be fair, she was a very skilled twelve year old. And I was injured."
" Which was your fault." Ethan retorts. "But why did you have to go after it to begin with?"
I search for an excuse.
" I don't know! Because I'm wild and reckless, and I take an unhealthy interest in breaking every possible rule! Plus, I enjoy jinxing thing and that boy from Slytherin, Luico, is a rather dull target. "
" Is Luico the one who used to hex my sister when she got up to turn in her essay?"
Ethan pretends to be interested but I know he's finally agreed to drop it since I obviously don't want to talk about it.
" No. That's Maxwell. Luico is in our year. He's the one who transfigured your homework into a dung-beetle last autumn and laughed when you asked Emma Holmes out."
" Then by all means," Ethan replies with a mischievous grin on his face " jinx away."

The Daily Prophet wasn't usually supposed to be on school premises, but Avelleen had snuck it in. She was reading when suddenly the room felt ice cold. She dropped The Daily Prophet, open on a page regarding dementors escaping Azkaban. She exploded into the corridor. five first years were huddled fearfully in the hall. "Get inside! Go!"
They were happy to agree. As they scuttled along, Aveleen saw them.

Going Toward the Herbology classroom.
She stood there gaping until she heard a scream.

I think Brooke meant Araxie. Her character on the Superhero RP is Aveleen. I get my character names mixed up a lot too though when I'm in multiple RPs.
