Futuristic RP!!

Futuristic RP!!

I wanted to do some kind of RP set in the future. Here's what I was thinking for the plot. There's a city that's in the sky. Yes, in the sky. It has a strong magnet that repels against the earth's ores below. It's really high up and has a force field around it. The builders of the city made it because the earth was destroyed and couldn't inhabit humans anymore, because of the four world wars. Humans destroyed the earth. These kids decided to get down to the ground and see if people can live there.

So here's my character.

Name: June Gray

Age: 13

Appearance: She's really pretty, with creamy white skin, emerald green eyes, and long silver/blond hair.

Personality: She's the most popular girl at school, and she's really snotty. Everyone wants to be in her group. She's a little mean. Basically, she's the stereotypical "mean beauty queen". Though after her adventure, she changes.

Can cyborgs fly?

Hey Orykell, I don't know if you saw my post, but Valenara is already the one of the waste. Sorry.

Valenara ran through the city, into the Labyrinth under the waste. She sighed and leaned against the wall. A voice cut through her thought.

"Hi, whoever you are, this is June. I sent a droid to track-"

Valenara saw the droid and her eyes widened. In a panic, she crushed it with telekinesis. She suddenly realized what had happened.

She had revealed her cyborginess to the most popular girl in the school.

In other words, the whole city.

Oh...oops. But could you possibly use a couple of my concepts later on (i.e. being one with the city, able to communicate directly with machinery)?

Cappie says ggha. I couldn't agree with you more, Cappie. Don't get me wrong, Brooke; I don't care that much about dropping out. You aren't making me cry all over the computer or anything.

@ Brooke

...seriously? Your posts showed up at the same time, and it's not fair for you to just lick them out. There's other solutions, for heaven's sake.

A Curious Dragon,

I'm sorry! I didn't mean to make you drop out. You don't have to! I didn't know that you couldn't see my post.

And Katia, I think I might just leave this rp. I wasn't saying she had to leave. I was just saying that since my post did happen a little while before ACD's, that I have prior claim.

Also, I was perfectly polite.

Yes, you were. There are 2 opposing sides to the argument here: you have prior claim, but my charrie is tailored to the role. Opinions, anyone?

Cappie says bhuh. Apparently the local Captcha is undecided.

Personally, since they were at the same time and Curious Dragon's charrie is tailor made for that role, Curious Dragon should get the spot- that's just my opinion, though.

Before I can get to Alec, the oddly-dressed girl leaves.  And who should walk up to him next but Valenara?  After a moment of talking, Alec pokes her.  Valenara's image flickers, so that-- for just an instant-- she appears to be made of metal.

I stand there, stunned, frozen, and confused, until Valenara, and soon after, Alec, have left the scene.  I wander away, trying to think of an explanation for what I had just witnessed.

"Hey, demon-eyes!" calls a voice.  June.  Could my day get any worse?  I wish I could disappear.  "Your girlfriend's a cyborg, you know!"

I open my mouth to protest that Valenara is not my girlfriend and she's not a cyborg, but I stop.  Because, suddenly, everything falls into place.  Why she's so shy, why she almost never goes to school, why, just now, she looked metal.  I shut my mouth.  Valenara is a cyborg.  I shut my mouth and run.

I head for the edge of our city.  It always calms me to peek over the edge.  And I'm not in any danger.  There's a force field, of course.  Every once in a while, though, you hear about someone falling over the edge because the force field malfunctions.

I lean over to peer through the clouds at the greenness of earth.  Too late, I realize that I shouldn't be able to lean this far.  There's no force field.

I'm falling.

June~

Wow. Valenera is a cyborg. Smirk. I always knew she was weird. And I can't believe that guy acutally liked her. I mean, I know they like each other. I can tell. And she's a cyborg.

Well, who cares. I have to worry about the party. I go home and take a shower. Who knows what kind of diseases that weird cyborg might have. I put on a super-skinny black dress with really thin straps. It was really expensive, but worth it. When I walk, it looks like I'm shimmering. I put on some makeup and perfume. Then I rub on some lavender lotion on my arms. Something's missing... My hair! I twist it up into an elaborate hairdo that Maya taught me. There. Perfect.

I look at myself in the mirror for a while, then tell my mom I'm ready. She frowns when she sees the dress, but she drives me. "Did you have to dress like that?" she says as we pull into the Expo eanter. "I mean, you've always worn dresses and stuff, but this seems a little too far."

I wave her off and jump out the car. I walk in. Everyone is already there. I see Maya and walk over. "OMG!" she squeals when she sees me. "You look gorgeous!" I smile. "You too!"

I scan the crowd for Stephen and his group. I see him over by the chocolate fountain. Trying to look graceful, I walk over. "Hey, Stephen," I say.

"Hey," he replies coolly. "You look good."

I blush. "Thanks. Do you like the party?"

He raises his eyebrows, which I find adorable. "Yeah, sure."

I smile. "Well, see ya later."

I walk to Maya. "The dancing is starting," she says. The light dims, and the music starts. "You should ask Stephen to dance," I whisper.

Maya shrugs. "Maybe." We walk onto the dance floor. Stephen approaches Maya. "Wanna dance?" he asks. I can tell Maya is trying not to faint. They dance. I think they may a really cute couple. Maybe Stephen will ask Maya out. I'm just about to talk to some other girls in my girls when I feel a tap on my back. I turn around to see a boy about my age. He must be in Stephen's group.

"Do you want to dance?" he asks. I smile and nod. I think his name is Mercer. He looks cute enough. And he's in the popular group. We step onto the dance floor.

Valenara snuck into the party.

Hey, free food was TEMPTING.

No one would spot her. She could blend.

Just get to the cake.
