Not even the new tech of 2045 can stop the apocolypse. The city in which your character lives is the first of many to be targeted.

Appearance : Short and thin, she hs light brown hair and pale, almost translucent blue eyes. She has pale skin and a small nose.
Previous Occupation/Backstory : A thief
Perfered Weapon : Dagger
Outfit : Matte black cargo pants, gray sleevless shirt, black shoes, silver pendant necklace
Personality : She is shy and a bit closed-in. Her mother died of Cancer (they haven't cured it yet) and all she has of her mother is he silver pendant, so she is pretty sad sometimes, but she doesn't show it.

Maybe that they realize that the zombies are there, they're scouting it out, and they've decided to try and destroy the whole city so it doesn't spread?

Okay, let's go with Indigo's idea. In that case, Dr. Pythacom is a Sunshiner, and when he created zombies accidentally, he warned them, and the group (the Sunshiners) was formed.

The woman hesitates, glancing at the others. But then she sees Arista's finger sliding down her gun towards the trigger, and she gives in. "Okay, okay, I'll tell you!"
Arista raises an eyebrow. Wow, she's really good at this interrogation thing.
"We're the main Comm center, just us three; Torren is the central location of our three main bases," the woman continues.
"Where are the other two bases?" Arista asks.
"Alto and Ithaca," says the man, jumping in.
I give a little gasp. Alto? That's where I come from, where Dr. Pythacom is now. and Ithaca is where he came from, where he first unleashed the zombies. Bluebird bites her lip. Something about those two cities, she recognizes too.
Arista's about to ask something else, but I interrupt. "Do you recognize the name of Dr. Pythacom?"
The man frowns. "Do you expect me to know every one of the Sunshiners?"
"Do you have a list of all the Sunshiners?" Arista asks.
The woman points to her computer. "In here," she says.
"I need to see this list."
"It's long."
"I still need to." In dead silence, Arista walks over to the computer. I go with her. I recognize the system -- the same one that we used in the lab. Quickly, I enter a few keyboard shortcuts. A roster pops up on the screen, alphabetized by last name. I type Py and Pythacom, Daneel, moves to the top of the page. Arista nods, and I click the link.
"He's the one who founded the organization, in Ithaca," I read. Arista crosses her arms.
"More," she says.
"As we knew before, he created zombies," I say. "But he didn't want them. He started the organization to prevent the apocalypse."
"Well, that failed," Arista scoffs. "How does a terrorist group prevent war?"
"They're demolishing cities, trying to prevent zombies from spreading."
"WHAT?"

Summary:
Bianca is still doing her thing in the woods.
Danie, Bluebird, Addie, Zain, Arista, Tamar, and Luci met and spent the night in the warehouse. In the morning, they decide to explore Torren (the town.) They reach the apartment, where they decide to explore because Addie and Zain recognize the building.
Danie had a major hallucination and fainted. She collapsed. She can't explore with them, and so Luci's taking her back to the warehouse. Along the way, Danie wakes up, and she's about to explain her psycho-ing out. However, behind her, Luci has felt like something dangerous is following.
Inside the apartment, Bluebird, Addie, Zain, Arista, and Tamar walk into the office and find three Sunshiners. They basically hold the Sunshiners hostage, and from them they learn... well, just take a look at indigo's idea summary and then my post.

"WHAT?"
Addie's face is white. She raises her gun to shoot, but Arista pulls her arm and her bullet goes wide, hitting the wall instead of the woman.
"You're murderers," Addie spits. She aims her gun at the woman. "You've wrecked our cities, wrecked our lives. You aren't helping prevent anything. You don't deserve anything."
She loads her gun again, finger on the trigger.
"Stop!" The woman and I both shout at once. I plant my feet next to Addie. "Stop," I tell her. "They can help."
"I..." The woman talks fast. "Yes. We can help. We have information. We know how the zombies operate. We can team up with you. We have the infrastructure."
Everyone's watching Addie. She did have some good reasons there. Her gun's still ready -- if she decides to shoot now, none of us will be able to stop her. "I..."

I kick Addie faster than anyone can blink, knocking her legs out from under her. As she falls I snatch her gun and point it at the wall as it goes off. I throw it and it sticks in a wall cranny I spotted earlier.
Everyone stares at me.
"It's called Ju-Jitsu," I say casually.

The woman tilts her head to the side, thinking. "Join you?" she asks.
"You can help us."
"But can you help us? We're trained, we know the danger. You're just kids."
"They're zombies. You're not just helping us, you're helping everyone. Everyone out there." I wave a hand out the window at the deserted, ruined town of Torren.

"Remember that night? That one that I didn't tell any about? Well, on that night, I kinda got a hallucination. But before that, Arista gets attacked by this HUGE dog, but I think it's a teddy bear. And I rip out it's 'stuffing'. I think you know what that stuffing is. Yahuh. Guts. Anyways, those guts, I really shouldn't have touched them. You see, those dogs were radioactive. and now I got a bit on me." I puff out, looking at her with nervouness.
