Hi, I'm new.

Hi, I'm new. I am an aspiring authoress, and my close friend Allison P. told me about this site. I don't really know how stuff works around here. I like poetry and fantasy/fiction. I'd appreciate it if some one could take pity on a confused and lonesome writer!

And since when did I say Annie and I don't share the same genetic makeup? Both figuratively and literally; we have the exact same eye color, exact exact same hair color, same height (except, at last measurement, I was a centimeter taller), exact same thoughts (it's so scary. She reads my mind), et cetera. :) :) :) :) :) :) I'm in a happy mood today because it's FRIDAY!

That is a complete and unnecessary exageration, Allison. I'm only a half cetimeter shorter. Also, you shouldn't waste valuable learning time by posting while you're in Technology class. (Unless, of course, you weren't in Tech at 10:49 am.....)

Fine. 3/4 of a centimeter shorter. And I wasn't wasting time: he gave us free time for the last ten minutes of class because we'd been straining out brains to an extreme on FCAT Explorer! Because you know how hard FCAT Explorer is. :)
