Setting: Magic forest full of spirits like in Miyazaki films.
here's mine:
River Wolfpaw
Age: Biologically immortal (i.e., won't die of old age but can be killed by disease of physical trauma). 712 and counting. Appears 16.
Appearance-- always wears a dress of deer hide and a crystal dagger on a string around her neck. Has black paint markings over eyes that extend tendrils down onto her cheeks, with long black hair, pale skin, and green eyes that look as if they were cut from emeralds.
Personality-- Easily angered, and occasionally hurts feelings by being so truthful it hurts or just being a jerk without meaning to. Lives in a cave with Huntingstar, her silver wolf, who she is fiercely protective of- even though Huntingstar can take care of herself very well. Actually can be very nice, and is pretty smart. She speaks Japanese, and sometimes forgets herself and speaks in it, much go the confusion of some of her friends. (Huntingstar understands English and Japanese.)
Powers: She can talk to animals, some better than others. Also, she's wicked with her spear and her crystal dagger, and has powers of telepathy and electrokinesis. She has wolf speed and stamina, and wolf senses of smell and hearing. Rides Huntingstar. She knows exactly what plants are edible and which are poisonous, and exploits that knowledge. Really good cook.

Name: Raven. Just Raven.
Age: unknown
Appearance: Black hair let loose. Green eyes and very tanned skin. Wears a lion skin dress, dearskin slippers, and a belt with a few knives in it.
Personality: shy and quiet, and very mistrusting.
Powers: Air and fire. Yep, air and fire.
Other: She was abandoned by her parents as soon as she could take care of herself, and grew up a wild girl, living alone. She had to fight for survival and has a scar on her cheek from an encounter with wolves. She has a grudge on everyone because she figures they must all be like her parents. Also, she knows the language of the fairies. She befriended them.

Age: Also biologically immortal. 601 and counting. Appears 7.
Appearance-- Short, cute. Short brown hair, big brown eyes, smallish nose. Always wears leaf dress and sometimes rides a doe named Sweet Eyes, or Sweety for short.
Personality-- Optomistic, not the smartest, and excitable. Loves Sweety and animals in general. Can also talk to animals but mostly acts as comic relief.
Powers-- Telepathy, talking to animals and comic relief.

Willow Wisp
Age; 178, but aside from her white hair, looks really young.
Appearance; impossibly pale skin, long, white hair, colorless eyes, blood red lips, tall. Wears a long, trailing white linen dress and no shoes.
Personality; she never talks. Some say that she lost her voice long ago, to the wind god Makir, but she can communicate with her eyes to those who have a true heart. She is . . . odd. With odd customs and ways that nobody understands.
Backstory; it is said that she became a spirit long ago, when her daughter Akai was killed. Nothing tethered her to this world, so she began to . . . drift. She is the keeper of The Blood Crystal.
Powers; can fly. Drift, really, into the air. She can practice odd and mysterious magic. She is the keeper of The Blood Crystal, which is a powerful item that if in the hands of an untrue being will cause bloodshed the like of which has not been known since the owner of the crystal thousands of years ago turned cruel, causing an era called The Shadow Years.
I'll make another character later. Awesome idea for a thread; Miyazaki films are amazing.

Ceceilia Lark
Age: 13 (mortal)
Appearence: Regular 21st century kid. Hazelnut hair. Twin braids with red bows. Tan skin. She is tall and thin and she plays softball. She is wearing a backwards orange baseball cap, T-shirt and green cargo pants. She is wearing tennis shoes. She has a backpack were she keeps random things like a swiss army knife, water bottle, etc.
Personality: She is VERY adventurous. Kind of a loner. She is persuasive and good with words. Tomboyish. She doesn't really keep up with the latest going-ons.
She is in the forest exploring when she gets lost. She kind of felt like she past a threshold or something. (I guess the spirit forest is connected to the real world by portal or something, and it "let her in." Okay with you?)
Power: She didn't have any powers UNTIL she came to the forest 'cause she's special or something. She can grow and shrink. She can grow to about the height of a medium-ish tree, and shrink until she is the height of a computer monitor. She can also jump high and run fast when she is big. She discovers her powers when she sees a creepy-but friendly- spirit. she gets really freaked out.
Sorry if I wrote this weirdly, I've never done this before.

I might start earlier, because April is my busy month.

I was thinking SPAEC-- evil society (of 1 dude and a bunch of clones) that wants to kill anyone who can stop them and TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!!! SPAEC stands for Supernatural, Paranormal And Extraterrestrial Control. We fall into Supernatural.

Powers: human-owl hybrid, so all owl powers, including talking to owls and turning into an owl.
Other: parents died and she was raised by owls.
