Amethyst~

I stare at the ghostly riders. Without knowing why, I feel my hand begin to slide from where it had been clutching the folds of my grimy purple dress. It slides from the silky fabric, and reaches uncertainly into the cool evening air. Trembling slightly, it remains in the air for a second, and then slowly reaches out for reassurance. My dainty, pink hand clutches Cale's pale white one. He squeezes it, and I am no longer scared.

"Halt! Who goes there?" He questions, reaching for his sword with his other hand. I hear a giggle, and turn to see a sleepy Joy Rose stifling laughter by covering her red face with the yellow and white jacket she is wearing over a slightly muddey yellow dress.  I turn back towards the riders, waiting for them to answer Cale's question. Watching as Leo pulls himself from off of the ground, I think Is it just me, or is Leo even more irratable and pugnacious lately?  I have no time to dwell on Leo, for the first of the riders begins to speak. In a low, rasping voice he says:

"A thousand years have we searched

for the destroyers of the evil jewel.

Only a thousand years can fufill

the longing of the East,

now we have found those years,

and what once was lost, has now

found a home, though it is

not the one expected by many.

For what has now been found

was once lost, but though found,

is still lost, until the place is chosen.

A true king must be chosen for the

future queen, but wether they rule

in the east, or rule over travels and

adventures must be decided.

The evil jewel was beheld by one,

and will be destroyed by another,

and be reborn through another.

An evil stain has blemished it,

and now it must be destroyed.

Adventurers, take heed of these

warnings, and this advice, for the

end of your journey is near;

be like brother and sister,

those who are lost. "

The first rider, a man, relates this in a rythemic voice, like a poem or a song. I glance at Cale, and he looks confusedly at me, and then we both let go of each others hands. Just as suddenly as they appeared, the horses and riders were gone. Ella murmers something that sounds like "brother and sister," and glances in the direction of the others. Suddenly, she gasps. Millenia is standing completely still and as pale as paper. Before anyone can do anything, her eyes close, and she falls to the ground in a faint, her wings ruffling slightly.

This "prophecy" can mean multiple things, but I have some ideas... mwahahahahahha!

Urg...l've just had to write so many things....And l'm tired....

Leo~

"Is....She alright?" l ask. Allyson kneels by Millennia and feels her wrist. "That's strange. Why would she just faint?"

"Something the riders said? l couldn't make any sense of it." Calcspar comes beside Allyson and carefully gathers Millennia in his arms. The look on his face is strange, almost, loving, as he carries her to a tent then sets her down inside just as carefully.

"She'll probably come around in a few mintues. " Ella says wisely. l glance at them, then walk a ways off.  l don't know how, but l think l've changed. This whole journey, l've stayed on the edges, lurking around. Because there's something l fear.

They are talking, about what, l don't care. There's something larger. Something bigger than all of this. There's power. Galaxies of power. Something better then all of them.

Sorry sorry sorry sorry!

Ella~

I peek in at Millennia through a small tear in the tent. She looks deathly pale, and hasn't regained conciousness yet. I swallow hard. Why should I care how she is? Once the stone is destoyed, she'll go off with Calcspar and I'll be by myself again. Just as I've always been. I look over at her again, then at the others sitting around the small fire we've started. And yet, I've never felt closer to anyone in my life. Well, maybe except... I shake my head. I am not thinking about him. I told myself I never would again. I stand up and try to dust off my filthy, slightly bloodstained, tunic. I need to wash off. I wander off into the woods, remembering that we had passed a stream earlier. Eventually, I reach it and start to wash off. I finsih and shake out my wet hair, then start to make my way back towards the group. I stop suddenly. Except... I'm not sure which way to go! It was very dark, with only a sliver of moon in the sky. Stupid stupid stupid! I should know not to go this deep into the woods by myself! I sit down. "Well at least I have water." I say out loud.

I know it's not very good, but I'm in a slight rush, and am feeling really busy lately. Once again, sorry for not posting.

Calcspar~

It gives me satisfaction to see that Amethyst's purple dress is smeared with dirt and lined with wrinkles. You never would have known she was a princess by looking at her now. Her face is crinkled with fatigue and worry, yet her eyes are still pleading. I had only noticed the pleading look recently, when it had been illuminated by the flickering fire earlier. Her brown eyes were begging that the real Amethyst would be seen. She wants to be recognized. I despise her for this. Or rather, I despise her for many reasons.

"Calcspar," a weak voice calls from inside the makeshift tent that I am sitting by. I know it is Millennia, and I refuse to turn around. Amethyst leaps with surpising agility from a dead patch of grass nearby. Silence is thick in the air as the two tired girls stare at each other. I can feel them staring, though I cannot see them. I firmly fix my gaze on the distant forest.

"I'm fine," Millenia says softly. Nothing needs to be said. In my opinion, nothing ever needs to be said. I want to get away from Millennia. I don't know what she changed, or how she changed it. But she changed something between the night before last and this morning. The colorful sunrise is dulled by the grey clouds hanging in the sky. A breath of wind quivers as it crosses the feild. My hand on my sword hilt, I leap to my feet and run towards the forest as the peircing howl of the Kitsa (rather like a fantasy cayote) moans through the trees.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Gripping a dead rabbit by its tail, I bend over the fire I made from the abundance of twigs lying about the forest. I carefully add on more sticks while holding the rabbit aloft, and then select a reletivally smooth blackstone (a fantasical common rock–sometimes used for cooking) to lay before the fire. I carefully skin the rabbit with a knife hidden in the lining of my right boot, and spread the  meat on the blackstone. I move the stone closer to the fire, knowing that it will heat very quickly, and I wash my knife in a nearby stream. From the other side of the stream comes a splash, and I look up to see Ella sitting by the water, dripping and looking very disgrungruntled.
"What are you-" she begins to say, and her face melts into relief.
"Breakfast," I grunt. Ella splashes past me, walking in the direction of my campfire.
"Eck!" she exclaims upon seeing the remains of the rabbit. I turn away, doing my best to ignore her.
