I know there are waay to many Rps, but half of them are dying.
Are any of you familiar with Medieval history? There are three parts to it.. The dark ages, The High Middle Ages, and the Late Middle Ages.
Dark Ages: This is when the barbarians destroyed Rome (mostly) It is called the Dark Ages because we know basically nothing about it. The Barbarians destroyed tons of literature and important stuff. Also, because they weren't a learned people, they left no literature behind!!
Where do you think that all the crazy, mystical creatures come from? I believe they come from the Barbarians, who left little knowledge behind for us. As for these creatures? Simply passed down from generation to generation, eventually taken as simple myths. Yes, fairies and dragons were real, elves and dwarves too.
So basically this is a Rp about the Barbarians at sea. They, on a journey across the sea, encounter a mystical bit of land, with all sorts of magic.
Rules:
Be nice and respectful.
You can have two charries as long as they are opposite genders and opposite occupations (Barbarian or Mythical creatures)
I kinda want the Rp to move slowish. One or two posts a day. Take your time and think it over.

Okay...one more thing. If you have a girl Barbarian, she is not a warrior. She is a woman and therefore must act like one. They can, however, wear. pants.

Okay, sorry if these seems a little strict, but honestly a 17 year old Captain just wouldn't work. There will be multiple ships with ours, but we will all stick to one boat. Except for the mythical creatures of course.

Creature: Sea serpent/human
Appearance: She has dark hair, and bright sea green eyes. Transparent, lacy and frilled blue wings that also serve as dorsal fins. A scaly blue tail. Her feet and hands are webbed, and she has fins along her arms. Gills on the side of her neck.
Personality: Sad, silent. Only speaks one word at a time.
Power(if any): Underwater breathing, as well as in the air. Can fly.
Other: To be RP'd.

Appearance: Spikey black hair, deep-set blue eyes. He has a sharp nose. Is neither short nor tall. Stocky.
Personality: Serious, calm, knows more then he will ever tell you. Never smiles or laughs.
Boat job: Bookkeeper. He keeps track of wares and costs and such.
Other: He knows something. Something that the others don't......

l'm going to change my charrie a bit.
Appearance: She has dark hair and sea blue eyes. Transparent, large, lacy, and frilled blue wings that also serve as dorsal fins. A scaly blue tail. Her hands have retractble claws, and she has fins along her arms. Gills on the side of her neck.
Personality: Silent, but not shy. Arrogant and snobbish. Doesn't like hard work, but she can fight pretty well.
Power(if any): Underwater breathing, as well as in the air. Can fly.
Other: Her family was killed by fishers, so she dislikes everyone and anyone.

I think that I might be able to take part in this RP. As it will be my fifth RP though, I might have to drop out if things get to hectic. (In my schedule, not the roleplay)

Creature (it can be a mix): Faerie
Appearance: Her regular height is about a foot tall, but she can shrink and grow if she wants to. wavy auburn hair cut in bob; pale skin; bright, eager blue eyes; wears skorts (Skirts with shorts attached underneath) and t-shirts. She has pale blue wings shaped like a butterfly's wings that come out of her upper back.
Personality: Mischeivious; bouncy; Nice, when she's not pranking you; a lot smarter than she looks.
Power (if any): Flying (She's a faerie); she can change her size; magic. (The kind of magic without spells, but it does the same sort of thing as Harry Potter)
Other: Nothing, really.

Name: Maple Yoland the.... High-numberth.
Age: ....500? (That's around 11-12)
Gender: Female
Creature: Tree nymph. For maple trees, to be exact.
Appearance: Humanoid, but that differ in a few small ways. All tree nymphs are very skinny, unhumanly skinny, although very strong. They also are slightly smaller than the average human, and usually have very exotically colored eyes and hair. In Maple's case: long green hair and amber eyes exactly the color of maple in autumn. And a dress made out of leaves. Like in the movies.
Personality: Hmm.... I'm going to say a little bit like Aisling. Funny, a bit carefree, slightly impatient, and very mysterious.
Power: Well, you know, just a few "above-average" things: Acrobatics, strength, and that's about it. You know, better jumps, a little faster, a little stronger. Subtle.
Other: She's royal. It doesn't really matter, it's nothing special, it's just that most tree nymphs are linked to one tree. However, the royal ones can go to any tree, as long as they're the same kind- in Maple's case, Maple. (and they're mostly all named after the tree. Hence Maple the High-Numbereth)

Name: Isiana Bluestone
Age: 24
Gender: Female
Creature: Dragon-hybrid
Appearance: Tall and slender. She has wavy, black hair. Her facial features are sharp, but enchanting and comforting. She has the hearing and eyesight of a dragon. Silver wings protrude from her upper back, long and dazzling in all their glory. One eye is silver and dragon-like, the other is a normal, blue human eye. She has a snake-like toungue and sharp teeth.
Personality: Fierce, a warrior. She is not very strong, but is quick and agile, almost like a ninja. She is kind and wise, but quick to anger. When she is angry anything goes and she loses good judgment. Silent, except when she needs to talk and when she is angry.
Power(if any): She can breathe white fire, and perform some simple magic spells.
Other: A rare species. Her mother was cursed into a dragon, until a true love's kiss, etc. When her father and mother married, the dragon gene had stuck with her mother, making Isi half dragon.

Gender: Male
Appearance: He is tall and muscular. He has sea blue eyes a rough face. He is very tan and weathered from being at sea. His hands are calloused. He wears a whale tooth on a leather string around his neck. Often shirtless.
Personality: Fun, perky. He is always the first to sing, or dance, or tell a good joke. He isn't the brightest, but he is charming for sure.
Boat job: Oarsman.
Other: Nothing much...
