Epic Wizard RP!

Epic Wizard RP!

We are all different types of wizards with different types of powers. I don't quite have a plot, but we all unexpectedley meet.

Trickster: Their magic is mostly just for show, although the are quite useful in some situations. Boiled down, they're the rabbit-out-of-a-hat kinda guys.

Wizard: Like Gandalf, basically. They may not have many spells, although they are wise and powerful no doubt, and good with a sword as well.

Mage: They focus one of the 4 main elements. Powerful, yes, but not useful 24/7, for they have much to learn.

Sorcerer/Sorceress: The most powerful by far, and you never know what they'll send your way. The power, though, gets to their head.

Druid: These kind old people are glad to help when they can, even if it might just be healing magic.

Witch/Warlock: Also known as necromancers, these wizards are masters of black magic, although evil clouds their morals.

Paladin: These wizardly knights fight not for glory or power, but for the greater good. And while they might not be the best at magic, their swordsmanship makes up for it.

Enchanter/Enchantress: They can enchant most anything, and their magical knowledge is vast. Although, they work off of tomes, and their dependance could be their downfall.

Choose one and fill the form! No more than 2 of each class, and no more than 6 total charries!

Name:

Age: (At least 20.)

Apperance/Garb:

Personality:

Magical Class: (Explained above.)

Special Powers?:(Not too Op, guys.)

Other:

We can work out the plot together, and I really hope this works!

Emmeria-

As we ride toward the next town, I grow increasingly edgy.  My horse Silvia keeps far away from Ferlin, and even his horse seems scared of him.  To be truthful, I'm a little scared of him too.   Just his personality is unsettling.

I grew up in a nice little village were everyone was friendly and I knew everyone.  At least until She destroyed it.  Ferlin reminds me of Her a lot, maybe thats why I'm so freaked out.  The glowing eyes, the cloak, the way animals fear him...  No he can't be!

"Look!" he says.  He startles me so much I nearly fall off my horse!  The I realize what he's talking about.  Smoke is rising above the trees in front of us.  We charge into a clearing, and I gasp in horror.  "Was this a town?" I ask.  "I think so," Ferlin says. "Look at all the bodies."  "I'd rather not thanks," I croak.  "Wait, this one is alive!" he exclaims. "Let me see!"

As I run over to Ferlin I try to avoid looking at the wreckage of the town.  "Oh no!" "What?" "This man is magical!" "What!?" Ferlin exclaims.  "There's no way he could have survived if he wasn't.   He's barely alive as it is, he's burned so bad."  He was buned so much that I could barely make out any features at all.  "I'd say he's a Druid by the looks of it.  We've got to help him!"

After a few different revival spells he wakes up.  "Who are you? Who did this?" Ferlin demands.  "Peleto...Get my staff..." That's all he says before he fall back asleep.  "Come on we've got to take him with us!  One of my hideouts is only a hour from here, the horses can carry him that long."  "Fine." Ferlin abliges. "But I don't know any spells for burns so you'll have to help him." "I can do that." "Let's go then."

Nellethiel-

Just as well that the night I finally decide to visit the Southernmore Provinces, the tavern I visit lights on fire.

The young druid named Peleto is thrown off his horse as I extinguish the flaming tavern, waving my hand and dousing the flames.

I turn and run to the boy. Thank goodness, two others are with him...

Aragarien~

The dark monster crashes through the pub, advancing on the old man. l stay where l am, hidden in one of the back rooms. He can deal with it himself.

l hear a crackle of fire and smell of smoke. It's burning.  l turn back to the main room, but the old man is gone. The monster is too. A flameing roof beamfalls behind me, sending sparks the burn small holes in my cloak.  l glance nervously from the back room to the door. l haven't got what l came here for, but this building is going to collasp any time soon.

Part of the roof caves in, cutting me off from the back room. The already noticible heat gets hotter. The smoke is getting to thick to breath.

"Run or get fried," l mutter to myself, dashing to the door, while ducking from spark and flying ash. l place my hand on the iron handle and quickly draw it back., burned. To hot.

The fire roars like a beast behind me, licking at the edge of my cloak. Eyeing the door, l take a step back, then suddenly rush forward, shifting into a wolf and slaming my shoulder against it.

l tumble out onto the charred grass. l stand up then quickly roll to exstingish the glowing embers in my black fur, then blink the smoke out of my eyes.

There are four people farther on. The old man from the pub, lying on the ground, two girls, and a cloaked figure. Both of the girls are bending over the old man.

Curious, l stalk the edge of the shadows, listening. But one of them sees my eyes glint in the firelight.

Peleto~

I suddenly avert my eyes to where Canuel ran off, hearing a tingling noise. To my surprise, a lone water mage was putting out fires in the town, and was currently soaking the pub. The monsters were pretty much gone, and there were bodies everywhere...

While I had turned my head, I hear a creaking noise, which had clearly been the "footsteps" that my old ears heard. I turn around to see the side of a barn topple over on top of me.

The last thing I see are two young wizards approaching me...

Just to correct Brookeira: Peleto is 80. I wouldn't call that young..

Ferlin~

I glance around, shifting my glaze toward the bush. I see eyes glinting. Too human like. I raise my hand and lift the bush from its place, showing a wolf. But too silver of a wolf. It shifts, and to one of the girls surprise, a man takes his place.

"Found me," he growls.

"You really should stop that eye glinting," I remark.

"Hm. And yours doesn't?" He tilts his head and smirks. I lower my hood. The mage Nellethiel, who claims to have ceased the fire, concentrates on the Druid. He's an old man, someone I would think to have wisdom. I bend lower down.

Whispering a few words, I lower my hand and release some of my life energies into the man.

"Will keep him healed for a bit, but I can't expect to heal those burns," I growl. Emmeria nods.

"Come on. We need to get him to safety." Emmeria pulls the old man onto the back of her horse. I jump onto my own.

"Care to join?" I brush my hair out of my face, feeling the glint of my own eyes on my cheeks.

"Perhaps," Nellethiel gets on her own horse, and pulls it toward me. "But don't think I'm some sort of damsel in distress."

"Sure thing, majesty," I reply. "And you?"

The other man shrugs.

"Whatever out of this mess."

Peleto~

I wake up to the thumping of my head on armor. I open my eyes to see that
I'm on the back of a horse, riding behind the paladin that I saw earlier. Two
others dressed darkly are riding to my left, and the water mage from before on
my right. What was going on? Well, I guess they saved me, so I won't argue.

"Hello?" I croak to the party. The warlock turns his head.

"Look who finally woke up," He mumbled.

"Who are you all?" I question.

"I just came to help a druid in need," said the mage.

"So why are you still here" I ask.

"That's none of your concern," she replies. I glance towards the wizard, but he seems to have the same attitude.

"So where exactly are we going? Er, doing, really," I say, looking towards the paladin who I was riding with.

"That's something to ask Ferlin here," she replies, gesturing towards the warlock.

Miffy-

I wander through the remains of my town. Which is now gone. All gone. And I think I'm the only one who survived. It's sad. Since no one is around, I let a few tears fall from my eyes.

Suddenly I hear voices, and my heart leaps. There are others here! I cross over to the small group, all glaring at each other.

"Um, hey guys."

"What are you?" one of them asks, bluntly.

"I'm Miffy. A mage."

She looks down at me, dissapproval stamped on her face. "A mage? At your age?"

"Well, anyway. Where were you all planning to go before I came? May I come along?"

"None o ypur business, and no." The girl retorts. I smirk. It's time to show them what I can do. I gather all my strength, and summon a ghust of wind that lifts the girl off her feet. I scaresly keep her there for 30 seconds, though, when I start to feel week. The wind stops, the girl falls onto the earth, and I fall to the ground. I'm concious, but just barely. I can't talk... Can't move... What have I done...

Ferlin~

The water mage automatically jumps off her horse and comes to her rescue. I won't help. I like keeping my life energy to myself.

The mage had tried to impress, but I must say, she was impressive for her age. Most mages don't learn that kind of stuff til 30. Cool kid.

The druid seemed to have recovered, for he joined the water mage's side. Emmeria joined them both right after. I stay on my horse, and so does Aragarien--Hard name to say, if you ask me.

"Is she alright?" I hear Emmeria whisper.

"Probably. she probably under-estimated the task," the old man replies.

"I'm not giving anymore life energy, if that's what you want!" I fume, watching Emmeria glance back at me.

Peleto~

Before Ferlin answers, we approach another town, destroyed and clouded by fog and ash.

"Great scott!" whispers the paladin, who I then remembered was called Emmeria. "This town is devastated..."

Ferlin looks annoyed, as he had just been interupted. A second interuption comes out of the blue as another mage wanders from the wreckage. She tried to bargain for a joyride with the mage called Nellethiel, but she denied her childish requests.

The young mage tried to show her magical strength, but collapsed in exhaustion. I, somwhere in between fall and leap, off the horse, and rush to her side. I begin to energize her, but Nellethiel interupts.

"You're going to revive her? So she can just toy with us again?" she said. I finished my spell and stood up.

"No, but becuase I know she will be useful," I remark, then looking to Ferlin. "Ferlin, we need to talk. Alone. About a prophecy."

Ignore this if it interupts anyone!

ayyyeee I know I just posted, buuut...

Ferlin~

"No, we don't want you 'life energies'," Peleto stands up. "Ferlin, we need to talk. Alone. About a prophecy."

I almost topple over my horse getting off. How could he know? The old man gestures me from a small rock, and I join him.

"So, what about this prophecy?" I mumble. Peleto sighs.

"I think you already know, Ferlin."

Peleto~

"You see, a prophecy was found 60 years ago, by the Grandmaster Council. They cast it into the deepest depths of their dungeons, not realizing it was unchangeble by any force. I hoped that it would not happen in my lifetime, but alas, life is unfair," I started. Ferlin looked interested.

"Go on," he persisted.

"Well, the prophecy went like this:

A kingdom gone, a family lost. Preparing to pay                                                                     the ultimate cost.

Men, women, and children stand, approached                                                                               by death, but hand in hand.

When all seems lost, they will seige the people.                                                                         look for the lantern on the steeple!

Six heroes will stand alone 'till their final breath, but                                                                  allies will arrive before their death.

And then the last verse is lost," I finished.

"What do you mean It's lost?" asked Ferlin.

"We forgot to record it, but by the time we realized it was too late," I explained.

"We... so you me you were a part of the Grandmaster Council?" he questions.

"Well, yes. I'm one of the four left. We were all given a verse to protect by the long ded leader. The creatures of darkness crave only death, so they don't want us figuring out the what the prophecy means," I confess.

"I think we watched one of the councilmen die," said Ferlin. "That's who we got the 4th verse from."

"Well, we're probably the six "heroes" the verse talks about, so all we need to do is figure out the others," I figure.

"Yes, we should tell the others," suggests Ferlin. We trudge back to the party, where they had set up a makeshift camp. Aragarien and Emmeria were telling stories, while Nellethiel was tending to the young mage. We had all been through a night of hell, so it was nice to see pretty sunrise.

Before we could speak,  dark creatures leap out ouf the woods. We draw our weapons, and Nellethiel gets in a defensive position. They must be hear to kill us, I think. Well we won't go down without  fight.

Sorry I didn't post yesterday, i was too busy.

Emmeria-

Ok something weird is going on.  At first Ferlin was just kind of secretive and creepy but ever since we got back to my place he's been downright silent.  I finally corner him one night and ask him what's going on.  "It's nothing." "No it's not." "Yes it is!" "I've been enough people to know when they're lying."

He finally gives in.  "Fine.  Peleto and I were talking about a prophecy the other night." "Wait, our prophecy?"  "No. A different one."  "Liar.  Did he say how he knew about it?"  "No."  "Are you sure?" I ask, "And really, lying doesn't work."  "Fine.  He said he heard it off a fourtune teller long ago.  He also said that we did't her the whole thing." "Did he?"  "Yup.  the whole thing goes like this.

Six heros stand alone to their final breath, bu allies wll come before the death.  But once it is over, said and done, the group will be missing only one."

"So... One of us is going to die?"  "That's what he thinks."
