Chatterbox: Inkwell

Epic Wizard RP!

Epic Wizard RP!

We are all different types of wizards with different types of powers. I don't quite have a plot, but we all unexpectedley meet.

Trickster: Their magic is mostly just for show, although the are quite useful in some situations. Boiled down, they're the rabbit-out-of-a-hat kinda guys.

Wizard: Like Gandalf, basically. They may not have many spells, although they are wise and powerful no doubt, and good with a sword as well.

Mage: They focus one of the 4 main elements. Powerful, yes, but not useful 24/7, for they have much to learn.

Sorcerer/Sorceress: The most powerful by far, and you never know what they'll send your way. The power, though, gets to their head.

Druid: These kind old people are glad to help when they can, even if it might just be healing magic.

Witch/Warlock: Also known as necromancers, these wizards are masters of black magic, although evil clouds their morals.

Paladin: These wizardly knights fight not for glory or power, but for the greater good. And while they might not be the best at magic, their swordsmanship makes up for it.

Enchanter/Enchantress: They can enchant most anything, and their magical knowledge is vast. Although, they work off of tomes, and their dependance could be their downfall.

Choose one and fill the form! No more than 2 of each class, and no more than 6 total charries!

Name:

Age: (At least 20.)

Apperance/Garb:

Personality:

Magical Class: (Explained above.)

Special Powers?:(Not too Op, guys.)

Other:

We can work out the plot together, and I really hope this works!

Miffie:

I'm talking with Emeria, having a fairly good time, when Peleto zooms out in front of us, riding... Something. It slowly comes to me what''s going on.

"Peleto! No! You'll get yourself killed!" I scream, dodging forward.

"Stay back, young one!" He turns around glaring at me.

"But..."

"Stay. Back."

I bite my lip. I have to do something. And I have to do it fast.

Emmeria-

As we charge away from the Things, I notice Aragerien lagging behind the others.  Suddenly, his hourse bolts forward, a Thing on its heels.  Peleto is shouting for us all to keep on, but after a few frantic minutes our horses are begining to tire.

After a narrow escape from falling off Silvia, I realize that we've almost run out of road!  We're all going to fall off a cliff!  Screaming, I try to turn all the horses at once, but I just make them run faster!  At the last minute Peleto yells out somethig like "Varasashi emesio cruble!" A bridge appears in front of us, barely stretching far enough to let the horses run on, and ending right after Silvia's back hooves, for I am now in the rear.

Gasping for breath, we watch the Things trying to follow us across the chasm.  Immediately, Peleto collapses, and I rush over to him.  "He'll be alright." I say, "He used a lot of energy creating that bridge.  Let's make camp."

That night when we've all laid out on the ground, I remember.  I remmber all the things I've seen over the years and I finally know.  When we find that verse, we'll find the Enchantress.

I'm just going to go with this...

Ferlin~

I blink, breathing. Miffy is lying on the ground near Peleto.

"Ferlin, may you please help?" Emmeria asks loudly.

"Not if I can help it," I growl. "I'm going out."

I walk into the nearby forest, and then i start coughing. Ah, shoot. My hands paling slightly. I flip open my bottle, and drink it dry. I'm going to need another one.

Coughing, I grab onto the nearest tree and inch forward. I hear a bird. Perfect. Raising my hand into the air, I open up my palm and pulse the bird toward me. My dark energy seeps out from me, and chokes the bird to death. I feel its life energies circle into me, and I cough again.

Going back to camp, i see we're already getting ready for sleep. Tired, I slup onto the nearest blanket.

"Lazy-bum," Emmeria comments, grabbing the blanket off of me.

"Ayah!" I glare at Emmeria.

"You don't look to fearsome when your hood is off," She smirks, and gets her own tent ready. I growl.

Setting up my bed, I yawn loudly and inch my cloak off. Emmeria breaths alittle too loudly.

"I have an actually body, if that's what you're thinking,"

"I knew that," Emmeria glances away. "It's just, you remind me of someone..."

I look at her and shrug. "Whatever you say." I lay down onto the blanket and close my eyes.

Peleto~

As I lose conciousness, the last thing I see is the sun rising in the sky...

When I wake up, It is night. From right after breakfast, to nightime... I must've slept for hours! I stretch and sit up. Everyone is asleep. I cautiously get up, and tiptoe to where Canuel is roped. I reach into his saddlebag, and rummage around. Is it not here?

I look inside the other bag, and find my prize: a tiny, ebony chest. I open it up, but instead of what I expect, I find a messily written note:

Dear Wizard Scum,

If you want your key, you'll have to meet us

at the hideout to the west. Don't forget to bring

LOTS of gold! P.S. You might want to train your

horse a little more!

-The Goblins

I looked at Canuel. How could he let them take my prized possesion? Unless he didn't, and the goblins were lying... that was a likely possibilty. Well, whether they lied or not, I needed that key for our journey. I hadn't told the party yet, but it was vital for opening the council dungeon, and therefore finding the last verse. I stuff the note in my pocket, and hop on Canuel.

I get ready to head west, when I realize I can't just desert them and leave. I debate a little in my head, and then decide to write a little note. It reads:

Dear Friends,

I have decided to head west.

I am not deserting you, nor

is this not personal. I promise,

it will be worth it. I'll try to meet you

In Sattagut, a city about halfway

between here and the Opal mountains

Kindest Regards, Peleto.

I gather my things, then trot away on Canuel. Once I'm out of earshot, I snap the reigns and Canuel takes off, galloping westward.

Aragarien~

The distent cold stars  wink out one by one as grey dawn creeps over the camp. The others are still sleeping. l pace around camp, just staring at the ground and-What is that?

Horse tracks. l frown. Heading west. Peleto's horse. Where coud he be going? l walk over to the tents to warn the others when l see a small worn scarp of paper fluttering underneth a well-placed rock.

l pick it up. It's writen in a elegant hand, but some what unreadible.

So that's where he's going. l wonder why.

l take a moment to look around camp before going off to wake them up and tell them the news.

~~~~
The sun has risen as we get a fire started for breakfast.
"So Peleto's gone?" Asks Emmeira.
"Yes. He said he'll meet us in Sattagut, which l am unfamiler with, but," l glance at the sun. "If we break camp in a few minutes, we should get there by  tomarrow night."
"Minus all monsters that we have to fight off and whatever else." Comments the water mage, holding the reins of her horse.
"Why do you think they'd be those monsters?"
She shrugs. "Maybe not. Let's get on the trail, shall we?"
Sorry about not being ale to post!  I was at my Grandma's house all last week, and her internet is iffy.  I'm back at home now, so I can post more often.
Emmeria-
I can't belive Peleto is gone!
After everything he did, everything he told us, he just dumps us?!  Aragarien says that the note was incomplete, and that most if it was unreadable, so I guess he could have explained more.  We pack up camp and get on the road fairly quickly, it can't be more than nine o'clock.
As we travel, we all share our ideas of why Peleto left.  Miffy thinks maybe he's a werewolf,(Aragarien  doesn't like that idea) Nellethiel thinks he may have found a different lead for where the Verse is, and Ferlin just glares at everyone like we're plotting his public humiliation or something.  Aragarien and I really have no idea why he left.
One thing that bothers me is our destination, Sattagut.  Its no like its a new place for me, I've been there many times.  The one thing that worries me is my reputation there.
Noticing something worries me, Nellethiel trots over to me.  "What's the matter?" "Its nothing really," I say. "But before I became a paladin, I was a street dancer in Sattagut.  Its not a pretty place.  Before long, I was hired to do some... Well some killing.  A girl like me could worm her way into almost any house as a servant, dancer, or even a bride.  They still allow aranged marriges in Sattagut you know.  Most people don't meet their spouses until the day before the wedding."
"So you were an assassin?" Nellethiel asked. "Yes.  A good one too.  I was only ever caught once, my last job.  It was my master who caught me.  He said that if I agreed to leave the life of crime and become his apprentice, he would let me go.  I took the offer of course.  I had never wanted to do this, I had been saving up so I could get out of the city.  After I finished my training, I changed my name and left the city.  I never went back."
"So, your real name isn't Emmeria?"  "No," I confess. "Its Avalinia."  Nellethiel gasps. "YOU are Avalinia!"  "Shh!  I don't want the others to know!" I say. "I'll tell them eventually, before we get to Sattagut, I promise.  If I don't, you can."
Just then, we see Peleto, running for his life.
Miffie:
As we ride down the desert trail, speculating on Peleto's reasons for leaving (I still think he's a warewolf) I see Paleto himself running in front of us. At first I think I'm seeing things, but soon Emeria yells out, "Look! It's Paleto!"
"And look, theres a... whatever that is." the water-mage murmers. Suddenly, Paleto isn't the only one running for his life. The creature following him scratches right at our heels. He snares his teeth, and suddenly, without warning, races forward. He snaps his mouth shut, and I feel my horse crumble beneath me. His teeth, sharp as swards, slide down my leg. At the last second, I muttler something, and the creature is carried away by the wind.
"Woah. i didn't know I could do that!" I think, as I fall to the round. My leg hurts, but at least everyone else is OK. I thi...
