Skya- When we reach the clearing, the first thing I notice is the smell. It smells like rotten eggs and onions. I could see that there had not been much been a battle. There were big footprints and trampled grass. There are a few slashes in the trees and I can see a quiver of arrows. I hear Serin call and run over. She has found Ariana's sword. We can all see that there are footprints that are going north. Towords the mountains. We follow the tracks for about an hour. We walk until we  come slap-up agenst the face of a cliff. At the top of the cliff I can see a curl of smoke. We search the cliff until Anyenna calls and says that she has found a cave. We slip inside. It is disgusting. The walls are slimy and dirty and dripping with water. We keep walking until we come to a hugr ccave. In the middle of the cave there is a bonfire and a pot big enough for me to sit in. On the other side of the fire there is a giant person. It was about the size of a carrige. We crept around the fire trying to stay in the shadows. It looked up and smiled and said " I was right, our dinner has come. "

Hello!  Hoping I can jump right in, BTW, Cho It's the sister of your 'Cuz' in your Star Wars RP.

Also, how many of each type of faction are in the game?  I would recommend making a post every now and then that shows your games numbers.

Oh, and is this based on a book or book series? I'd like to know so I can at least look up summaries of the books to get a little context.

Name:  Darian Sastia 

Age:  40ish

Faction:  Knights  

Goal to Complete During Game:  A little up in the air at the moment, probably will have to do with clearing Ariana’s father's name, and maybe usurping the king if that’s what your main plotline is.

Looks:  Darian is pretty short for a 40 year old man, standing at about 5'8".  He has dark brown hair that is starting to grey at his temples, and also wears a beard.  He has sharp blue eyes that are uncommonly pale.  His whole appearance is gruff looking and his attire is also rough looking, he wears a tunic, pants and boots with a sword hanging at his waist, along with a brown wool cloak.  His  weapons include his sword, which never leaves his side, a few throwing daggers and he can also use a bow. 

Personality:  Darian has a quiet and solemn personality, rarely talking to others unless he has a reason and purpose behind talking to them.  He never involves himself in idle chitchat.  Darian has a fiery temper that hides behind his cool and solemn demeanor though, and when aroused, it is never a pleasant sight.  Darian is also exceedingly loyal to any of his close friends, and will do practically anything for them. 

Biography:   Darian was born and raised in the Griffin Empire, and was sent to be trained for knighthood at as young an age as possible.  His father and his father's father were both knights before him, his whole family line were and are knights.  Darian wasn't always as reserved as he is now, and only became so after the last war in the Blood Moon Eclipse.  He was very good friends with Ariana's father (What's his name Cho?  Also, we should figure out their relationship more.)  and the turmoil after the war changed him very much.  As he was loyal and persistent that Ariana's father did not fight for the demons in the last war, Darian has suffered much and was thrown out of the knights order for a while, but later the king welcomed him back in, no one really knows why, probably because he realized he may need Darian's help at some point in time.  Because of his experiences Darian is not like the other knights, nor does he dress in their showy ways or their flashy personalities, preferring plain cloths that are easy to go unrecognized in and his quiet and easygoing personality.  So Darian is somewhat of an outsider in the Knight order and most distrust and even despise him, going so far as to call him a traitor to the Griffin Empire. 

Artifact:  If you'd like to give me one you can. We might be able to fit it in as part of his friendship with Ariana's father.

Ariana ~ I wake up to find myself trapped in a cage, with that same unpleasant smell. I hope Anyenna got out of here. What an I going to do? If only father hadn't died. Or been accused of siding with the demons. 

Brookeria is leaving, apparently for good, so you guys can kill her charrie off if you want.

Lydiana ~

We hide behind a rock, but the trolls (I forgot.  Are they trolls?) can smell us. I can tell by their excited breathing. We hear one slowly getting up, and creeping towards our rock. I aim my staff towards the side it's heading towards,  Skya, Serin, and Anyenna do the same with their weapons. It comes around,  and I whisper a spell. "Dragon fire burst!" A burst of blue fire spurts out of the end of my staff, as Anyenna and Skya shoot arrows, andd Serin fires ice spikes. The troll falls to the ground in pain, and the others trample over to see what happened.

King's Study

It had been a day since Nicolas's daughter, Ariana, had set out on her mission to figure out what new evil was blooming.  Only one day and already Darian was being sent for by the King.  Even though the King and Darian had a very strong dislike of the other, Darian had the expertise and experience that no other Knight had with Heresh and the forces they held within.  And so it was that Darian found himself walking through the palaces noble hallways in his simple and dirty attire.  

'What on earth could the King possibly want me for?' Darian thought to himself, 'I am certainly not someone he calls for for counsel, so what does he want from me?'  Though Darian had a sneaking suspicion that it would have to do with Ariana and the most recent quest she had been sent on. Darian had a hunch that the King would love to rid himself of the bother of both himself and Ariana, which was why he sent the young girl on such a dangerous mission.

Lost in these thoughts he soon found himself standing at the door to the King's study, where two guards stood watch.  "The King is expecting you." The guard on the right stated.  'Well of course he's expecting me,' thought Darian, 'he did, in fact, summon me to him.'  Of course, Darian would never say this aloud in front of the very King's guards, so he simply nodded and stepped through the door the guard opened for him.

When Darian entered the room he was greeted with the sight of the King standing over his desk, head down looking extremly haggered.  He lifted his head and greeted Darian, "My most trusted knight, how the times call for the hero's of old."  Darian bowed stiffly, "My King, it has been many long years since I have heard you call me your most trusted."  The King looked up at him, "Darian, the times that have come force me to forget past grievances.  It is a drear time indeed that casts a dark shadow over all of Ashan."  The King nodded for Darian to come join him by the desk.  

"Have just sent my niece on a more perilous journey than I could have ever imagined.  They have it, Darian.  It is rumored that they have it and will use it the coming blood moon, I have no idea how they got it." Nicolai said with a grave tone.  "It, my lord?" queried Darian.  A haunted look came into the kings eyes, "The Blade of Binding."  Darian nearly gasped with astonishment, the Blade of Binding would be a terrible force to be reckoned with if the Heresh did have it.  Nicolai smiled grimly back at Darian's wide eyes, "I need you to go after and lend them your guiding hand and sharp sword.  The kingdom needs you, Darian."  

Darian gave a curt nod, "It shall be as you say lord.  Where were Ariana and the group she quests with last headed?"  Nicolai sighed, "They were last seen at the Sleeping Stag Inn, near the (something) forest."  Darian pursed his lips, trolls were a problem in that area.  "I shall track them down and join their company my Lord," Darian clicked his heels together, "it shall take me but an hour to be off."  He turned swiftly on his heel and strode out of the room.

Darian's Quarters > Road to Forest

Darian quickly threw together the supplies he would need for the road ahead, and packed them carefully into his sack.  He fetched his recurve bow from its place over the mantel, as well as his two sharp throwing knives and their sheathes.  These he fastened, one to his lower left leg and the other to the front of his belt.  

He then went to the cabinet which held a most precious gift from his dear friend Nicholas, the Kings brother.  Opening it, he withdrew a small and light shield; it was made with a hard oak and had metal bindings, which had delicate designs etched on it.  This he strapped to his back and, reaching down, Darian grabbed both his bag and his bow and headed for the stables.

Once at the stables Darian saddled up his grey horse, Illiad, and strapped both his pack and his bow to the saddle.  Then, he swung up onto his horse, whistled, and trotted out of the stable and out the castle gates.  

The sun shown down brightly and Darian smiled to be free of the dreary and dull castle, even if the world were in peril a sunny day on the road would be just the thing to keep Darian's spirits high.  There was a long ride ahead of him and most of it would not be this plesant, so Darian decided to make the most of it.

Didn't interact with anyone else's characters this post, but I most likely will next time I post.  This was basically just so I could establish Darian in the context.  I will probably post again sometime tomorrow, well, today now I guess!  ;)

I guess her father disappeared, but everyone thinks he died . . . Um, yeah anyways . . . You have a typo! Congratulations! The charries are in Sheogh. And they were last seen at the Weeping Mag Inn. Although they have stayed at the Sleeping Stag Inn. You will need a magic user to create a portal to Sheogh. So, yup. Anyways back to the story.

Ariana ~ All of a sudden I see the elves and the wizard charge in shooting everything at the troll who is stirring . . . something in his pot. Then Lydiana disappears and then reappears in front of the cage. "We're getting out of here. Do you know where Zachary is?" She whispers hurriedly.
