HIGH SCHOOL DRAMA

HIGH SCHOOL DRAMA

HIGH SCHOOL DRAMA RP!!!

OK, so I thought it was time someone did this.

New people can join, too!

When we last left off,the popular girly girls, smart girls, and artsy girls had the 'incedent.' That ended well... After the incident, Gigi left the girly girl popular group and started her own girly girl group. Everyone in it is super nice, and Gigi is super happy with her new friends, even though there group is only semi-popular. She sometimes hangs out with the popular girly girls, but it isn't the same. The artsy girls and the smart girls became best of friends, and started sitting together at lunch. Brielle and Andy started dating. Nothing really big happened the rest of the year,no one wanted to get in trouble with Brielle's dad. But high school is a different story...

I was thinking maybe one new person could join each group, but maybe two for the girly girl popular group, because Gigi left... I'm also looking for some charries to be part of Gigi's group. We also need some boy charries! Boy charries cna be in any group. If there are lots of new people who want to join, I guess we could start a new group for them... maybe sporty girls popular?

So if you were in the School Drama RP, please tell me if you want to join, and if you do join, please post any updates on your charrie that you have.If you don't want to join, please post if someone new can take your charrie. Otherwise, we can pretend they moved away somewhere. If that's OK with you.

For new people, here's the form:

Age: (14-18)

Grade: (9-12)

Group: (Semi popular, nice girly girls; popular girly girls; (Used to be unpopular,) Semi popular smart girls; semi popular artsy girls; sportsy girls popular; any kind of guy charrie thatt can be in any group.)

Personality:

~Kat~

I grab my lunch and find a secluded corner of the cafeteria, where I sit down and start eating my lunch. All alone. I take a deep, calming breath. Friends do not matter. What is a friend, anyway? A quick validation, is not what I need, I need to grow up. Friends won't make me get good grades or a good job. Friends don't matter, I tell myself.

I choke down my lunch, barely tasting the food. STUPID STUPID STUPID I think to myself. Alone for one lunch, and I'm breaking down. What a MESS.

I take out my homework for Math and start working on it,

The bell rings. I head back my locker and grab my science notebook and agenda book and stuff. Throwing away my uneatten lunch, I head to Science.

Erin~

My schedule had been taped to the inside of my locker before lunch, and I check it now, my open lock hanging on my finger. I got a key lock, thank goodness, so I don't have to remember any combinations.

I run my finger down until I hit the period after lunch: Italian. I pull out the essentials, my binder and a pencil case, slip them in my bag, and check the room.

"Brilliant," I groan. "It's completely across campus."

I hurry out of the building and towards the Foreign Languages structure, where Italian is starting.

"Benvenuti in Italiano!" our teacher crows. "Io sono Ms. Buccalo. Io sarò il vostro insegnante di Italiano per il vostro soggiorno in questa scuola. Tutto quello che serve è uno spazio nel vostro raccoglitore per la mia classe. Saranno forniti tutti i testi per voi.

"For those of you who have not taken Italian before, I have just said 'Welcome to Italian! I am Ms. Buccalo. I will be your teacher of Italian for your stay at this school. All I require is a space in your binder for my class. All textbooks will be provided for you."

I glance at the window as Ms. Buccalo continues her translated Welcome Speech. I took Italian in seventh and eighth grade, and I could understand vaguely what she said.

A fly is buzzing at the end of the open glass. I know that as soon as it comes in, the more squeamish and scared students in the class will start screaming, and Ms. Buccalo will get VERY ticked off.

I raise my hand.

"Sí?" asked Ms. Buccalo. "Ti prego, dimmi il tuo nome prima di rispondere."

"Il mio nome è Erin," I say. "E posso usare il bagno?"

"Naturalmente , è proprio in fondo al corridoio," Ms. Buccalo replies.

I follow her directions until I reach the bathroom, pushing the door open. To no surprise of mine, there are a few girls chatting nonchalantly by the window. I ignore them and wash my hands, biding my time until the screams arrive.

Soon, they do, carrying down the hallway.

"Tranquillo, silenzioso, è solo una mosca!" I hear Ms. Buccalo calling. "Quiet, quiet, it's only a fly!"

Soon, silence falls, and I guess that the coast is clear. I pull open the bathroom door and walk back down to Italian.

___

This Italian may be completely incorrect-- I'm using Google Translate, I take Spanish, not Italian.

Could I be a new kid? Sorry, i'm just trying to read the School Drama RP to be able to follow the story. So, could I join late as a kid who transferred?

Sorry, you can't be a new kid. You could, however, join as one or two of the old kids! Here are your choices:

Name: Mellie Quintero

Age: 13

Appearance: Lightish blond hair with blue dye. Brown eyes, short, wears glasses and green braces.

Personality: Friendly, laughs a lot, makes puns. Very social amongst her
friends, but gets shy with new people. Hates popular kids, nerdy,
proud. Gets sensitive and angry when people make fun of her. Very
dramatic when alone. For example, she will pretty much think she likes
all boys, or that her friend problem will kill her life. Gets dark
thoughts. Pretty much exactly me.

Groups: Kind and Smart group (Both unpopular)

Friends: The smart girls and the artsy girls.

Name: Paige Meroe

Age: 7th grade

Appearnce: Long blonde hair that's always in a high ponytail, vibrant
green eyes. She's fairly tan, and is wearing soccer stuff 60 percent of
the time.

Personaility: Funny and likes making people laugh. Doesn't really get
the whole "girly-girl" society, but just roles with it. Kinda
competitive, but a good sport, both when she looses and when she wins.
Popular, but not as much as the girly girls.

Crush: She's too busy for that. But if some soccer-playing boy came along, she just might crush on him.

Groups: Semi Popular Artsy Girl.

She's basically the most sporty artsy girl.

Name: Jason Meroe

Age: 7th grade (him and Paige are twins)

Appearnce: Golden hair that just makes itself be perfect, dreamy blue eyes, tan. Muscles, cuz he' said quarterback.

Personality: Similar to his twin, laid-back  and a good sport. Has this way of smiling that makes you want to faint.

Groups: Popular Sporty Boy

Hey Applejaguar, Joss said no more new kids, but on page five there are three charries up for adoption, because their original owners made new ones.

Ariana ~ As I walk through the door of my house after school, my mom asks, "How was the first day of school hon?"  I set down my backpack and slide onto a stool at the island. "It was good, except . . ." My voice trails off. "Except what hon?" She asks, coming over and hugging me.I push her arms off of me.

"So. Picture this. You are expecting to be a loner for a couple weeks at school, and then the two most popular girls in the school want to be your friend!" I say. "Well that sounds good hon, I don't know why you would be worried darling," my mom says.

"I haven't finished. Then at lunch you find a bunch of girls who are all friends and all geeks like you, and they invite you to sit with them! And then the two popular girls come over, and my other friends treat them like they are monsters or something," I say.

"I'm sorry darling. Here is what I would do. Be friends with the geeky girls sometimes, and be friends with the popular girls other times." My mom suggests, placing a thermos of vanilla coromo tea in front of me. "Maybe," I say, unconvinced.

"I've got homework to do," I say as I shoulder my backpack, grabbing the thermos, and trudging up the steps.

Katie~

I sigh and toss my bag onto my bed, soon following it. My legs are exhausted and aching from school. After a few minutes I drag myself off of my bed and shuffle over to my music corner; where my stand and music stuff is kept.

Without a moment of hesitation, I open my flute case and carefully put the three shining silver parts together with a habit formed after years of practice. I organize my music and set my warm ups on the stand, then bring the flute to my lips, only able to produce a sharp-sounding sound before someone knocks on my door. I turn, suprised to see Johnston opening the door. He smiles and walks in, glancing around my room.

"Wow, it looks....like....an unorganized mess...." he states, his eyes landing on me.

"Sorry, i don't have time," I state, shrugging innocently.

"Time?!?" he exclaims, throwing his hands in the air. "Katie, all you have is time! You practice your flute for four hours until dinner, then do homework and head to bed. You could come and play Halo with me again!"

I shake my head, gripping my flute tightly. "Well I'm sorry for having to practice," I growl, crossing my arms, and turn away.

"Katie!" he lets out an exasperated sigh, "Don't you think you practice too much?"

"Too much? No! I'll never get better unless I practice!" I turn back to him, shaking my head. "You don't understand!"

"Katie!" he lets out a sigh and steps forward, griping my shoulders with his strong hands. "I miss you..." he looks into my eyes, with his, sincere and sad.

Johnston~

Katie turns away from me, guilt lining her face. "Johnston, I still need to practice...I might come and play with you before dinner...."

I nod, "Just don't...don't wear yourself out, okay?"

She sighs and looks at me once again before turning to face her music again completely.

The last year has been hard for us. We've grown distant, shes been practicing her flute constantly, and it drives me insane. I exit her room, closing the door softly behind me as she begins her scales and head down stairs. I glance out the window, spotting Gramps just before he enters the barn.

My gaze lingers on the doorway for a moment longer, then I turn and make a dash for the piano. I sit down in front of it, placing my hands on the correct keys. Then I begin a series of scales with different fingering patterms.

Erin~

When Christoff and I get home from school, Dennys is there to greet us. He hands me a cup of tea and Christoff some cider, and we sit down at the table to talk.

"How was school?" Dennys asks, drinking his afternoon coffee.

"Uneventful," I say, shrugging. "Italian's pretty basic. I have a nice homeroom teacher. Everything seems all right."

"It was great," says Christoff happily. "I... um... had a good lunch."

I raise my eyebrows at him, and his pink face gives me a sort of half smile. His head jolts towards the stairs.

"That being said...!" I say, "I have a lot of homework! I better get to it... see ya later, Dennys..."

Christoff jumps up. "I do too."
We ascend the stairs together.

"So!" I say, once we're seated in my room (which is slightly bigger than his).

"Yes... well..."

"It's Katie, isn't it?"

His pink face gets brighter. "How did you know?"
"You're not really hiding it."

He shrugs. "For you, maybe."

"What's wrong with Dennys?"

"I just don't know how he'd react."

I pull out a binder. "Unfortunately, I wasn't lying when I said I had a lot of homework. I really should start doing it."
He nods. "I get it. See you."
