Magical RP!!!!!

Chatterbox: Inkwell

Magical RP!!!!!

Magical RP!!!!!

Ok, so I was thinking, this would be sort of like a medieval rp. There would be castles, knights, kings, queens princesses, princes, elves, dragons, magic and all that sort of stuff. But one thing is different. Giants (evil ones) Are invading their land, and it is dying. All of our charries will have a magical power (or two). We will have to team up and go on a quest to stop the giants from destroying our home. At the end of the quest, we will find out who is directing the giants to destroy our homeland. (I'll tell you what it is later =)

Ok, heres the charrie sheet:

Name: Rose Aurora

Appearance: strawberry blonde hair, icy blue eyes, average height

Gender: Female

Power(s): Flame and Ice (one hand is flame, and the other is ice)

Personality: Quiet, and kind, yet loyal, and can be fierce when her friends are in danger

Age: 14

Rank: (commoner, princess, prince) Princess

Other: I don't have anything yet. I might post something later.

Evryone can have up to two charries, and you are also allowed to have two powers. And if you want a magical animal companion, that's fine too. Have fun! We'll start as soon as four people join, but you can join anytime! =)

If you have any questions, feel free to ask! =)

Well I'm just gonna post since no one else is.

Rose~

Mac had told me that I could stay the night at her "guestnest". Whatever that is. It is cozy and warm. *<Insert description of Mac's guestnest here- I have no idea what you want it to look like Aquina>*

I debate over what I should do. I eventually decide- after a long night of thinking and countless cups of tea- that I should seek help from the elves. I mean, I pose no threat to them. I don't want to hurt them or anything, so why should they be scared of me? While Mac is still asleep, I sneak out of her tree and sit on the ground, looking for any sign of help that might come.

Belendil~

It is still dark outside. The stars glitter brightly in the sky, the moon shining down. The world is so beautiful at night. So peaceful and quiet, devoid of all humans that might want to try and steal our powers. I sit down by the magical pond that I found a few days ago. (Still looking for a name- anybody have any ideas? I was thinking Maybe like "The Pond of Silver" or something like that. Again, not feeling very creative today.) My magical pet swan, Raindrop, sails around quietly on the water, ripples surrounding her.

"Raindrop," I call.

She looks at me with her deep brown eyes. Raindrop only responds to my voice. She has learned how to communicate with me, so we can have limited conversation. I click my tongue a couple of times, and she swims toward me and climbs out of the lake to sit beside me. In the distance, I notice a tree shaking slightly. a girl climbs down from the tree. She looks around 14 or 15. Her strawberry blonde hair is messy, and her plum colored dress is torn and dirty, with the gold ribbon belt hanging off her frock in tatters. She looks scared, and confused. I stand up, trying to get a closer look at her. If she is an elf, or has magical powers, I might be able to be of some help. She walks around the lake. As she comes closer, I get a better look at her. The first thing I notice is her ears. Round. She's a human. My blood runs cold. The last time I mingled with Humans, they tried to steal my powers. The strange girl comes closer to me, calling for help. She must need something. I close my eyes and hide behind a tree, hoping, praying, that she can't see me. She walks right past me. But it's the strangest thing. She has a magical aura, one of conflicting elements, like water and fire, or wind and earth. But Humans can't have powers, especially not two different ones. Before I have time to think about what I'm doing, I step out of my hiding place and call, "Who are you?" The girl whips around.

"I'm Princess Rose, of the fourth region." She curtsies. "And who might you be?" I'm not sure it is wise to tell this girl Rose my real name. But I do anyway.

"My name is Belendil. This is Raindrop," I say, gesturing to Randrop, who is now sitting right beside me.

"It's nice to meet you, Belendil. Now, I was wondering if you might be able to tell me where I can find the elves? You see, my home land is being attacked by the giants, and I desperately need help." I make sure that my long blonde hair is covering my pointy ears. Taking a deep breath, I say,

"I do not know where to find an elf. Nor can I help you." I turn around and start to walk away. I see out of the corner of my eye that Rose is reaching out her left hand, as if to stop me. Then suddenly, I feel a gust of wind. Instinctively, I whip around and create a wall of water around me to protect me. A chunk of ice about the size of a dinner plate bounces off of my water shield. Rose looks shocked.

"How did I- what in the world- Do you know what just happened?" I just giver her an evil glare. Rose looks at her left hand as if it were poison. Then she tries it again. Another ice ball bursts from her hand and hits my wall of water. My gaze hardens, and I throw a water bomb at Rose. She thrusts out her right hand this time, but instead of ice, white hot flames leap from her palm and melt my magical water ball. I'm suddenly very interested. Does this girl know what great power she has? I put the water from my shield back into the lake, and start to ak her questions. Poor Rose seems desperate for help. Maybe I can be of some use...

Leafmist- The guestnest is a leaf-woven nest with a leaf tent and leaf canopy with hand-woven blankets and cushions.)

Mac-- I wake up in the middle of the night because I hear soft murmuring. Human murmuring, which is strange. I carefully shift to monkeyform and jump, noiselessly, into a branch where I can see the Silver-drop-lake (making this up) and almost fall over. The princess and an elf were sitting at the base of the Hometree, talking. I could pick up snatches of words, words like "elements" "powers" and "magic". This was a bit too much for my brain to handle.  Elves had powers, born with them, and my grandma was a shapeshifter, so I have my monkeyform, but a princess? Hmmm.

I dropped to a brancch right above them and softly called to the swan sitting next to the girl.

(this means animal-language)

Magnificent wing-sister, how is it tha these two have come to parley? The elves have long stayed far from humans to make sure no powers were stolen" murmured I in swan-language.

The bird replied "Shape-changing half-cousin,  this human has made sure not to harm us and she tells of terrible things. Giants destroying everything they love...."

Hmm. I might need to eavesdrop some more on this...

Hey, I kind of like the Silver Drop Lake for a name! If that's ok with everyone else, we could call it that.

Gwen~

My thoughts race around in my brain as I walk through the forest. I feel like some powerful instinct is calling me somewhere... but wherever it may be, I can't place a finger on it. As I walk the forest seems to grow thinner until it suddenly gives way to a clearing. In the clearing is the strangest thing that I've ever seen. Two girls are fighting it out next to a pool. I've seen enough fights in my time with the falcons to not be surprised by that part, but what does surprise me is how they're doing it. They're fighting with magic. I go forwards to get a better look. Neither of them seem to notice me until I get hit with a chunk of ice and go flying into the pool. I wonder if they notice me now. As I float to the bottom, the strangest thing happens. The full moon shines down of the pool, and the pool starts to gliw bright blue.  A powerful energy courses through my body. I think this must be magic. One of the girls reaches down and pulled me out. I know something is different, though. They may not notice it but I feel positively glowing with magic. One of them says, "I'm Rose. What are you doing here? Are you a falcon? Do you know anybody that can help us? My kingdom is being attacked by Giants." I shiver. Then I say, "Well, I do have a few friends......"

Okay, these two humans- humans? one's an elf. Okay. These two humanoids are acting so odd. Now one just flew out of nowhere and landed in the Silver-drop-lake.

The girls hoist her out and dry her off. I can tell she's a Falcon, but she seems one of the nicer ones.  I drop down from my perch and land, human, next to Rose. She jerks around and flinches. "Mac! What are you doing here! I-i thought you were asleep!"

"I'm a very light sleeper. I was right above your head the entire time," I say. Then I turn to the two strangers. "A Falcon- and an elf- in the same clearing. I hope you two don't start fighting, because we need your help. A few major cities and some of the Tiger-wood-forest has been destroyed by giants. We need both magic and cunning. And we all have to work together to stop the giants. Are you two in?"

Belendil~

"I'm in," I whisper shakily. If I help this Rose girl, I might be able to find out why she has magical powers. Humans aren't supposed to have powers. But, if I'm in, then that means that I have to travel with a Falcon. The Falcons and elves have been enemies for centuries. Thier bitter history leads back to, well, I can't remember, I'm only 103, but I know that we have been enemies for a long time. Rose looks at the Falcon, pleading her to join.

"Will you come with us, to help us fight the giants, Falcon?" Rose asks, her voice filled with desperation. The Falcon gives me an evil look, then says,

"My name is Gwen. Why should I come with you? What's in it for me?"

"If you don't come to help us defeat the giants, then your home, the Tiger-Wood-Forest will be destroyed. You and your fellow Falcons will have no home." Rose replies, her voice shaking.

"I suppose I could help," Gwen says, after considering it for three very long minutes. Rose nearly collapses with relief.

"Well, then where should we start?" Mac asks.

"I guess we could start heading for the giant's territory." I suggest.

"That sounds like the only thing we COULD do," Gwen snaps.

"I have a couple of horses tied up over near Mac's tree," Rose says. "We could all take turns riding them toward the giant's land." Everyone nods. "Well then, let's go!" Rose goes to untie the two horses, and Mac goes to gather supplies from her house.

"Mac!" Rose calls. "I think we'll need some food, water, and maybe a couple of sleeping mats. I have some bread and cheese, and a couple of apples in my bag, but that will only feed the four of us for about a day. I also have a canteen of water, but it is almost empty."

"Ok!" Mac yells back. While Rose and Mac are discussing the journey ahead, I pull the Falcon, Gwen, aside to talk.

"We have to forget our differences. I know that I'm an elf, and your're a Falcon. We  can't let the history of our ancestors get in the way of stopping the giants. If all we do is fight, then the giants will destroy both the Falcons and the elves." Gwen nods, then walks back to Rose. I hope Rose's plan works, because if it doesn't, it will spell disaster for us all.

@Moonshadow: Is it ok, what I did with Gwen?

Misty says uzge. I thought it was funny

Mac--

Well. This is... odd, to say the least. The sun rises over the Tiger-wood-forest and I can finally really see everyone as we start to pack. I head on over to Beledil. "Do you know if there's any more elves anywhere near? Because I swear I saw one before the whole giants thing... But that's off topic. Do you know any elves in the forest that will be willing to help us?" She shrugs. "There might be one or two left, in the forest or in hiding at the palace. I'll see what I can do." "Okay," I respond, and head up to my bednest to think.

Why can Rose shoot fire and ice? Why do the elves and the Falcons hate each other? Life is so much simpler as a monkey! Hmf. Maybe we could find some more people who will agree to help.

Rose~

I'm still confused about why Belendil and Gwen hate each other. I know that the Falcons and Elves have a bitter history, but maybe this quest can change that. I lean against Mac's tree, stroking Butternut's neck. Then suddenly, out of the blue, a boy on a horse rides by at top speed. Not thinking, I climb on Butternut and start to follow him. After riding for a few minutes, he stops and turns around to look at me.

"Who are you?" he asks. The boy has flaming red hair, blue eyes, and a nice tan. I can feel my face getting red as I try to answer.

"I am Princess Rose, of the fourth region. Who are you?"

"I am Aidan Fien."

"Well, it was nice meeting you, I am busy, if you will excuse me," I try to head back to Mac's tree when Aidan says,

"Where are you going?"

"Why do you care?"

"I'm just a naturally curious person," Aidan says with a cocky smile. He's really cute.

"Why don't you come with me?" I suggest.

"Ok, I've no where else to go." Aidan follows me back to Mac's tree. I introduce him to all of my new friends.

This is Mac, Belendil, and Gwen," I say, pointing to each of them in turn. Mac waves, Gwen says nothing, and Belendil eyes him suspiciously.

"Hello!" He says cheerfully. "You all look like you are going somewhere. Where are you going?" I decide to tell him. He could be of some help on our journey.

"We are going to the giant's territory. They have some out of hiding, and are destroying out homes. Part of the TigerWoodForest has already fallen. Would you like to join us?" He coniders it for a minute, then says,

"I would love to accompany you on your  quest."

"Great!" I squeal, a little bit too happy, then I retain my composure.

"Mac, do you have all the supplies packed?" She nods. "Great! We can start right away!" I untie Chestnut- my other horse- from Mac's tree, then help Belendil onto the horse, while I climb on Butternut. "Let's begin our quest!" I shout, ready for whatever the world has to throw at me.

Our horses trot through the forest at a quick pace. I feel very strange. Everything seems sharper, more focused. I feel as if I could run a thousand miles and then some. This is definitely not normal. I notice more things as well. Like the way that Rose is staring at that red-haired boy. I wouldn't have noticed that earlier. And..... Something else, too. It's Berendil. She really doesn't seem that bad. I mean, I used to hate them, but now...... Suddenly, something weird happens. A vine shoots up in front of me and blocks my way. I scream and raise my hand in front of my face. Stop it, stop it, stop it!!! Leave me alone!!! And then, to my astonishment, it stops. It obeys me. Everybody else stops and stares at me. I raise my hand a bit. The vine follows. "Gwen" Berendil says softly "are you doing that?" I nod my head slowly. "Could you do that before?" I shake my head. "It.... It just happened. I've never been able to do it until......" My voice trails off. "Until I fell into that pool." Suddenly a sharp pain shoots through the tips of my ears. I touch them and...... They're pointed. I scream and fall of my horse, unconscious.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Saphiria says venz. What does that mean? Vines? Because it looks like Gwen can control them now!
When Gwen fell off her horse, I jumped off mine.
I checked her hearthump and her breathing. "She's alive. Knocked out, but alive." I pause, then notice. "Oh my Goddess, her EARS! Belendil, Rose, Aidan look!" The ears were- elongated and pointed. Like Belendil's ears. OKay, that was-  odd, to say the least, but at least she was alive.
"We need to keep her warm and dry until she wakes up. Aidan, the blankets?¨
