Strange intrests RP!

Strange intrests RP!

Strange intrests RP!

So in this RP, our charries will be going to a school where all the other students except them are sports crazy. Our charries will have intrests that are not sportsy, like cooking, robotics, ETC. Each of our charries will decide to start an after school club about their intrest, and the other non-sprts crazy charries will join them. So... Yeah. You can make up to 3 charries, and there can be 3 charries with the same intrest, but they have to be made by different people. Here's the for/sheet thingy:

Name:

Age:

Personality:

Backround:

Intrest:

Appearance:

Friends:

Crush:

Kate sits down at my table and we exchange hellos. I say my table, but that's not completely accurate- it's the table I was invited to sit at most likely due to Kate's ever-lasting mercy. Gosh, it can be annoying but I would be lost without it. Literally. I'm really bad with directions, and the school is way too big. Seriously, two gyms, a field, 3 weight rooms and 2 health classrooms? What a waste. They could use a larger Library. I'm thinking about this as I eat my Honeycrisp apple, surge of confidence hits me- I could talk to the Principal about it! I tell Kate I have to go, and I'll be back.

As I wait in the office, I see a boy come up to the desk. "My name is Matthew. I need a new ID- unfortunately, mine broke," he says. He's  cute, some weird part of my brain points out.

Mira-

I slide into my seat in Math class, looking shyly around the room. There's that girl who realy likes math class, sitting next to Gill. Poor girl. There's a new girl. I try to remember what her name is, then give up. There's...

Austie, my desk parter, slides in next to me, swinging her perfect blond ponytail into my face. She starts to chat with her friend about a basketball game, as I turn to my notebook. I'm working on a character sketch for a story. I'm imagining up a best friend for myself- a perfect best friend, that would understand anything and everything about me. I know, I know I'm weird. I've been going to this school since kindergarten, and I still haven't made a single friend. I sit alone at lunch, make up fictional best friends. It's kind of pathetic.

"Mira, are you listening?"

"What?" I say snapping out of my daydream.

"Give me that," the teacher reaches down, and plucks my notebbok out of my hands, "And come talk to me after class."

Tears well up in my eyes. I hate getting in trouble, but that's not it. I can't survive without my notebook. I can't have her take it- or worse, read it!

Sage~

(I realize I wrote a post that happened after this class, but I'll go back in time.)

"Give me that." Our teacher reaches down and snatches the notebook out of the girl's hands. "And come talk to me after class." I avert my gaze, unable to watch as tears shimmer in the girl's eyes. When I do look up, I see Gilligan looking at her, his eyes like daggers on her. She looks miserable enough as it is, I think. She doesn't need Gilligan going after her. I see him open his mouth to slide an insult over to her, but I quickly take my only chance to distract him. Grabbing the homework assignment, I swallow, wishing myself luck, and slap the sheet down in front of Gilligan. "Here's the homework!" I say, practically barking at him. The sudden noise distracts the bully, and he whips around to stare at me, a hand on the paper, practially shivering. His eyes glint dangerously, but when he turns back around to take another jab at--Mira, the roll call said--the teacher has moved in front of him and is checking last night's work. By the time she moves away, class has resumed and Gilligan can no longer get at her.

Gilligan slowly turns back to me, teeth showing. He is quietly growling, almost beast-like, and I am reminded of a lion stalking an antelope. "You'll pay for that later, I promise," he snarls. I shudder, only imagining what he will do. The rest of the class improves, as we dive into the fascinating depths of angles and hypotenuses, but chills run down my back when I happen to glance beside me and see Gilligan whispering to one of his goons. Ohhhh, no... I think. When the bell rings, most of the class leaps up and skitters out as fast as possible, joking and laughing with their friends. I personally have none in the class, and Gilligan bumps me with his hip on the way up, causing my papers to spill out on the ground in a entrophic display. I sigh and begin to clean up.

A movement beside me alerts me to the presence of someone. I see Mira nervously shuffling out into the hall by the teacher's side, her misty gray eyes terrified. The door clicks shut and I am left alone in the room. Having picked up all my papers, I begin to walk out when the slim with notebook catches my eye. Casting a glance at the hallway where the teacher and Mira still remain, I flip open the book and quickly scan it. My mind whirrs as I read the passages inscribed there. She has real talent,  I think. I wish I could ask her to write up one of my theories for me...

I light upon an idea, hardly daring to consider it at first. But I grow more bold, until a tear off a scrap of paper from an old assignment and scribble the words "I love your writing! Could we be friends? -Sage" on it, then stick it in the notebook on a randomly selected page. Snatching up my papers as Mira and the teacher re-enter the room, I nod to the teacher and slip out of the classroom, a warm spot in my heart.

Mira-

"So I hope you'll pay better attention next time, or I'll keep your notebook till the end of the week," the teacher finishes. I nod, and she hands me my notebook. Clutching it, I hurry off to my next class.

At the next break, I see a girl hanging around near by me. Sage, was that her name? I'm not quite sure. I smile awkwardly back at her, and sit down to keep working on my story. When I slide open my notebboks, though, something falls onto my lap. A note! I pick it up and turn it over.

"I love your writing! Could we be friends? -Sage," it says.

Someone likes my writing! My heart lurches. That means... Wait.

Someone loves my writing. Someone's been reading my writing. I turn the note over in my handds, trying to decide how I feel about this. On the one hand, no one's ever complimented my writing before. For as long as I can remember, I've been told to pay attention to more important things. Like being on the next olympic team, evidently. Or, according to my parents, "being more social" and "making friends." Well, would they have made friends if they went to this school?

Well, someone just asked me to be their friend. And complimented my writing. Two firsts!

But. SHe READ my notebook.

Calm down, Mira, I tell myself. Imagine that this girl read your notebook with your permission.

But she didn't!

Imagine she did. How would you react then? Suddenly, I know just what I should do. I look up from my notebook, and give Sage another smile. A real, true, friendly smile, this time. The kind that I haven't given since... A long time ago.

Wait, guys, this is really confusing. I'm lost. Where are we in the story? Some people are saying it's math class, some say it's lunch, some say it's still Kate/Evelynn/Dash's first day of school and some say it's the second. Please clarify. We need to sort this out.

Hey, all RPers of this thread! I haven't forgotten about this RP. I'm going to write and post tonight. Sorry it's taken so long for me to write!

Abi, I'm starting on the first day. Hope this helps!

I mostly go off other people's posts, but it seems we're in that kind of range of time, the first few days.

@Abigail S.- I'm confused too. I did Sadie's PoV from the lunch room because I thought it would work better than gym or math, and because she was friends with Giselle, who I think was at lunch.

Here is my first part:

Clara~

Summer is coming to an end, and it's the beginning of a new school year. New classes, new teachers, new kids, every year it's the same. Not that I've moved that many times, it just seems teachers come up with excuses to leave every year, new kids trickling in left and right from other school districts. Everyone here seems to be athletes, besides me and a couple kids.

First class is...English. I read checking my schedule.  Well, at least I'm starting out my day with a good class. I meet up with Giselle in the hall on my way to English.  She's with two other girls, recognize as a girl called Sage and the other I don't know. Giselle introduces me to the girl I do not recognize, Sadie.

English was okay. I met a new girl named Kate. She seems pretty nice. Maybe I have a future friend...  I'm pulled out of my daydream by someone tugging on my arm. I come back to reality to see my brother Soren looking up at me.

"What's up?" I say.

"Can I talk to you in private?" he replies. Oh know, something's not right.

"I really got to get to lunch, but okay. Just give me a moment to put my books in my locker. " He nods his head and looks around nervously.

I walk him into a deserted classroom and say-

"Okay, what's the matter?"

He breaks down into sobs and says, "I want to go back to my old school. I was terrible in gym and got called names. Even the teacher didn't stop them."

I let him vent for a moment then say, "I know, I know, this happened to me for the first couple weeks at the beginning. You're going to do great here. You're super smart, nice to be around and talented at many things. You'll find friends, I promise,"  I say reassuringly. He nods his head then walks slowly out of the room heading for Science class. I catch up to him and give him a quick hug. He gives me a weak smile.

I grab my lunchbox and run to lunch. I see the new girl Kate up ahead. I wave, she waves back. I ask her if she wants to sit with me at lunch. She seems really happy that she has someone to talk to. We walk through the lunch room doors and the mixed bad and good smells great me. I see Giselle, Sage, and Sadie sitting at a table. Giselle waves and beckons us over. Kate looks surprised but seems glad that people are noticing her. I'm glad. It's always hard when entering a new school. I just wish that Soren was doing as well as her on his first day...

I hope nobody minds, but I am going to set a point from which we should start writing again. It is confusing, annoying, and not fun to read if we are all writing from different points in time.

Let's have this as the THIRD day (for Dash, Kate, Evelynn, etc) and it is third period. This is totally random and I hope everyone's okay with this.

I shall post if everyone gives consent.

That's fine with me. I am also a little confused as to which classes are in which periods and who is in which ones. It would be helpful to make a schedule of some sort, but that would probably take way too long. Thoughts?
