Strange intrests RP!

Strange intrests RP!

Strange intrests RP!

So in this RP, our charries will be going to a school where all the other students except them are sports crazy. Our charries will have intrests that are not sportsy, like cooking, robotics, ETC. Each of our charries will decide to start an after school club about their intrest, and the other non-sprts crazy charries will join them. So... Yeah. You can make up to 3 charries, and there can be 3 charries with the same intrest, but they have to be made by different people. Here's the for/sheet thingy:

Name:

Age:

Personality:

Backround:

Intrest:

Appearance:

Friends:

Crush:

Sorry I haven't posted in a while!

Skye-

Wow this class is SO boring! Honestly, I don't think I need to learn a Spanish if I already know Italian and English! My eyes drift over to a girl who looks very bored as well. She notices me. "Hi," she mouths. "Hi" I mouth back. "My name is Skye, do you want to do something after school?" I mouth. "Sure, my name is Clara." she mouths back. "Ms Donathon, are you paying attention?" The teacher asks. I turn my attention back to class.

So, if you had other plans for Clara I can change this.

NOOOO THIS SHALL NOT DIE!!!!

Lillian--

I sit alone at lunchtime, reading a book about the invention of the first computer. I don't really mind that I am alone. Or, at least, I pretend not to. I am used to being by myself, and would rather sit alone than with those girls all talking about sports.

But I do glance half-longingly at Sage, Giselle, Kate, and some other girls I don't recognize, all chatting comfortably with one another. It would be nice if there were people like that for me to talk with.

At the far end of the lunchroom there is another girl, scribbling in a little notebook. I wonder what she is writing about. I have seen her around before, but I forget what her name is. Part of me wants to go up and talk to her, but I know that she doesn't want to talk to me. Not with my arm the way it is. Besides, she is busy.

I go back to my book. "Look at that nerd!" says Austie, one of the popular girls at the next table, in a mock undertone. I'm sure she is talking about me. She whispers something to the girl next to her, and even though I kind of want to know what she's saying, I'm glad that I don't.

It would be nice if there were other kids who liked to code. Then I wouldn't be alone, not be the only "nerd". Zoe and I used to work on coding projects together, before they cut the tech ed program for lack of enough funding. And where was all that funding going? The after school sports programs!

Practically speaking, computer programming classes would not only be better for me than sports, but would be better for every single kid who took them. In today's society, the knowledge of computers is vital. Though some few get to be famous athletes, training in computer science is perhaps the most valuable career training our school can offer in today's changing world, giving many opportunities for good, well-paying jobs. At least that's what my dad always says.

My dad is forever an advocate for the value of a good training in computer science, as he works for a software company himself. He was infuriated when the middle school cut its programs, but he could not argue with them. I decide to ask him if there is anything I can do after I get home.

Sorry to butt in, but oh my gosh!!! I code too!! I learned a little HTML last year, and I'm doing JavaScript now! I'm really bad at it!!!! Oh, and I also know a teeny bit of Python!!!

Cool! I do Visual Basic mostly, though I dabbled in Javascript a couple summers ago. Lillian's supposed to know more than I do.

Well, one can only do so much. I'll post from Matt's point of view again a little later, and surrender this RP to its doom.
