Argwen RP:

So, the charries live in a world called Argwen. It has eight parts, the western meadows (Evanlop), the eastern mountains (Vivtak), the middle forest (Seftu), the northern desert (Lopi), the northwest lake (Bora), the northeast tundra (Marta), the under kingdom (Damhu), and the sky kingdom (Skara).  Anyone can join, at any point.  One charrie per person.  Argwen's magical castle that holds the world together in Seftu is falling apart, and everyone needs to join forces to find out what is going on.  Not many people live in Vivtak, Seftu, or Evanlop and most of the population is spread out through Lopi, Bora, Marta, Damhu, and Skara.  No one can enter the castle because of a spell that the castle put on itself, except for Emma and Lorcan. Griffins can enter, so the Castle has become a place where griffins live. Emma lives there.  Any questions just ask me.

Name: Emma

Age: 11

Appearance: Dark auburn hair, shoulder length pale,
tall and somewhat thin , a good amount of freckles, medium brown eyes,
medium straight nose, medium lips, pretty wears nice looking but
practical clothing, shoes similar to moccasins

Personality: Very blunt, so much so that people mistake
her for mean, but really she is just painfully truthful and doesn't
hide her opinion, she is stubborn and proud, clever, a strategic
thinker, she enjoys being at the center of attention, she is super loyal
to her friends but slightly needy, she hates being left out, but is a
bit of a hypocrite.  She is in love with nature.  Very powerful for her
age.  Very independent.

Home: Seftu

Skills: Very resourceful, strong, fast, has a way with animals.  can communicate with griffins.  Can make plants grow instantly and has other...powers that will be discovered by others later.  Can climb very well.

Gender: Female

Backstory: She was left in the Castle as a baby and the Castle cared for her until she was old enough to care for herself.

Animal: Griffin named Lorcan.  She has taken care of him since she found his egg in the western meadows.  They bonded right away.  Lorcan is a wild griffin and is very loyal to Emma, who rides him.

@ Cho C. Did you make that picture on an app? If so, what is it called?

Thanks Echo!  I think I'll make Grant an elf but he doesn't know it, and maybe he can learn to use elf magic to fly or something.

That sounds cool.  Emma has mostly light magic, but a bit of dark magic.  It might be inherited...she doesn't know.

Emma~

I swooped through the air, almost one with Lorcan.  The wind whistled around us and as we flew higher and higher fog consumed the forest below.  I shivered and Lorcan, seeming to have the same thought flew lower.

We smoothly landed on a turret jutting out of the Castle.  Crenelations rose above my head, I peeped out around one of them.  Treetops looked back, partially hidden by the mist.  It was quite a foggy day.  Unusual.  It wasn't usually at all foggy.  Suddenly, a shudder ran through the Castle. My heart leaped into my chest.  A shudder?  That made no sense.  It might not be a...normal castle but it didn't shudder.  Until now.  Lorcan lowered a wing, motioning for me to get onto his back.  I hesitated, but I did.  Lorcan didn't swoop high above the treetops anymore.  He was on a mission.  He launched himself off of the tower and flew straight.  We were headed for Bora.  Bora?  What business did we have in Bora.  Lorcan kept on course.

"Lorcan!  What are you doing?"

Lorcan squawked, somewhat sarcastically.  I took it for a "you will see" squawk.  I guess I would see.  Did it have to do with the castle?  The shudder?  And why would Lorcan know anything about it?  In a very short span of time I had managed to become bewildered and frightened.  What was happening?

@Cho-

I used that same picture of the girl for one of my charries in a story! She was supposed to be Hades's daughter, Macaria(who is actually in Greek Mythology).

Still haven't figured out my charrie yet. I'll try to post one by tomorrow.

I'm sorry, but we're not allowed to post photos of people on Chatterbox.

Ashlynn~

The night is still young. Stars glimmer faintly in the sky, barely emerging under the brightness of tonight's full moon. I open my tiny attic window, to breathe in the fresh mountain air. I try the door again. Still locked. Apparently, I can't break locks with the sheer force of my mind.

The house is silent, save for my mother, constantly pacing and murmuring in the kitchen. She's probably worried about me. I feel a tiny twang of guilt, but it's too late now. I'm already halfway out of the window.

Stop! That little voice in my head is warning me. Don't do it! If only they had forgotten to lock my bedroom door before they left. Then I wouldn't be dangling from my window with one hand on the ledge trying to figure out where to land in the snow, which is roughly 10 or 15 feet below me. Great.

It seemed that those oafs known as my brothers had thought they had figured out a way to keep me in. The last festival they had attended had been disrupted by none other than myself. In Skadjil, all women are forbidden from attending any sort of public gathering, especially not one of their most important religous festivals. But I had been determined to go, and I was determined to go again. One little locked door can't stop me.

I spot a seemingly soft mound of snow a little ways to the left and before thinking I launch toward it. Thankfully, I land in it, with nothing more than probably a little bruise. Be more careful next time. I chide myself silently. Then, I brush the snow off of my parka and head toward the warm glow in the distance.

Am I too late to join???

If not...

Name: Illia Brooks

Age: 11

Appearance: Illia used to have long black hair, but she cut it short and disguised herself as a boy in order to have their rights in her village, and went under the name of Sovann. She is very short and skinny, but strong and quick from working in the streets.

Personality: Because of living by herself on the streets for so long, she is street-smart and independent. She doesn't beleive in the differences between boys and girls, but knows that everyone else in her village does and would never let her do anything as a girl. Illia has very little patience for softness, as she has had to live on the streets for her whole life. She keeps her feelings closely guarded, but once you get to know her she is very loyal.

Home: Vivtak

Skills: Very quick and strong from working as a boy, and will later discover that she can fly. She is street smart and a good theif, also meaning that she is good at avoiding cops.

Gender: Female (disguised as male)

Backstory: She'd been an orphan all her life, and lived in an orphanage until she cut her hair and snuck off one night to be a boy. Although it was hard living and working on the streets, she was always to proud to go back to the orphanage, and liked being independent anyways.

Animal: None right now, but I may or may not give her one later.

By the way, there are no cops.  Argwen is pretty much a big free-for-all.  Sorry I didn't mention a lot of this stuff at the beginning.  It's hard to remember everything.  Also, everyone participating should read every post so that they don't miss anything important.

@The Riddler-

I'd like for my charrie (Ashlynn) to meet yours at the festival I wrote about in my post, since they both live in Vivtak.....

Actually, my charrie lives in a village in Vivtak...

But anyway, if you are okay with them meeting, I could write something, or you could...

Okay, FINALLY! Here's my charrie-

Name: Bronwyn

Age: 10

Appearance: Medium length, straight, red hair that has tiny braids in random places, (about halfway down her back, not really bright hair, just kind of a dull red), light green eyes, fair skin with barely visible freckles, average height for a 10 year old, slim, wears simple dresses and woven sandals. She was born with a twisted foot, so she has to use a walking stick to help her walk.

Personality: Kind and gentle, mostly laid-back and quiet. She always knows the right thing to say to make people feel good.

Home: Bora (Is Bora cold?)

Skills: She has healing powers, but can only heal others, never herself. (She does so by touching people and willing them to be healed). She is also talented and playing the harp (or a stringed instrument if we don't have harps).

Gender: Female

Backstory: She was abandoned as a baby because of her crippled foot, but was taken in by a young couple, Benjamin and Joanna. Later they had three sons, so Bronwyn has three younger adoptive brothers. She wants to grow up to be some type of healer.

Animal: A young Doe named Leda, who helps Bronwyn find herbs and other plants for medicine.

Bora is not cold. Most of the time it has moderate temperatures, but it sometimes has hot weather. It is always warm enough to swim. If you live in Bora then you either live right by the lake or you are a human-like (but not human) creature that lives underwater. Also, Emma (my charrie) is very powerful so only like three people in Argwen are as powerful as her. First person to claim those spots get them. There are two spots.
