Argwen RP:

So, the charries live in a world called Argwen. It has eight parts, the western meadows (Evanlop), the eastern mountains (Vivtak), the middle forest (Seftu), the northern desert (Lopi), the northwest lake (Bora), the northeast tundra (Marta), the under kingdom (Damhu), and the sky kingdom (Skara).  Anyone can join, at any point.  One charrie per person.  Argwen's magical castle that holds the world together in Seftu is falling apart, and everyone needs to join forces to find out what is going on.  Not many people live in Vivtak, Seftu, or Evanlop and most of the population is spread out through Lopi, Bora, Marta, Damhu, and Skara.  No one can enter the castle because of a spell that the castle put on itself, except for Emma and Lorcan. Griffins can enter, so the Castle has become a place where griffins live. Emma lives there.  Any questions just ask me.

Name: Emma

Age: 11

Appearance: Dark auburn hair, shoulder length pale,
tall and somewhat thin , a good amount of freckles, medium brown eyes,
medium straight nose, medium lips, pretty wears nice looking but
practical clothing, shoes similar to moccasins

Personality: Very blunt, so much so that people mistake
her for mean, but really she is just painfully truthful and doesn't
hide her opinion, she is stubborn and proud, clever, a strategic
thinker, she enjoys being at the center of attention, she is super loyal
to her friends but slightly needy, she hates being left out, but is a
bit of a hypocrite.  She is in love with nature.  Very powerful for her
age.  Very independent.

Home: Seftu

Skills: Very resourceful, strong, fast, has a way with animals.  can communicate with griffins.  Can make plants grow instantly and has other...powers that will be discovered by others later.  Can climb very well.

Gender: Female

Backstory: She was left in the Castle as a baby and the Castle cared for her until she was old enough to care for herself.

Animal: Griffin named Lorcan.  She has taken care of him since she found his egg in the western meadows.  They bonded right away.  Lorcan is a wild griffin and is very loyal to Emma, who rides him.

@Bluebird, I was thinking that maybe my charrie could have an encounter with yours and that is why my griffin is taking me to Bora.  Your charrie could help with the Castle problems.  I'll write that if I have your consent.

Awesome, Echo! Bronwyn will help with the castle problems. (She also is just a human that lives by the lake, nothing underwater) Also, it says only griffins can enter the castle, and my charrie is only a healer with a doe as an animal. Is there something where Emma can let me in if she wants?

Grant wants one of the super-powerful people spots if there's one left!

Yep there is one.  How about Bronwyn is one of the powerful people too?  I'll figure out something to let Bronwyn into the Castle.  I'll write this after school when I get the chance.

Illia (pretending to be Sovann)~

Bending over so that my ragged cloak hid my face, I quickly hurried through the village's cobbled streets. This was a dangerous area, especially at night, but with luck everyone would be at the festival. The festival... I gulped, thinking of all the the angry people who I *ahem* maybe might have possibly stolen food from. The frosty night air stung my throat and struck a deep chill into me, and I walked even faster to warm myself up. I breathed a sigh of relief when I reached the outskirts of town. Here it was less likely for people to be out and about. Suddenly, I caught something out of the corner of my eye. Apparently I was wrong. There was someone walking about. Someone quite unexpected. A pale blond girl in a parka had just jumped out a window, some 15 feet high, and landed in a pile of snow. Instinctively, I hid behind an abandoned stack of crates, and watched in curiosity. Girls weren't allowed outside after dark. The only reason I was is because I had cut my hair, adopted a new name, and started acting as a boy. But this girl... she wasn't even trying to hide the fact that she was a girl. Acting mostly out of curiosity, I waited a few seconds, and then silently followed her, unseen, to what I would later find was the very festival I had been trying to avoid.

Okay, Bronwyn is a super powerful healer though, not everything else. Just an awesome healer, if that's okay with you. Hey, also, it's cool that Emma can make plants grow, and Bronwyn always needs plants for her medicine!

Bronwyn~

"There. Your finger ought to feel better by tonight," I say to a young girl, Jolena, who had fallen out of a tree and broken her thumb. She thanks me, then runs off with my little brother. I smile as they wade into the lake, remembering my carefree days of nothing but play. Of course, I couldn't always do things that the other children could, but at least I wasn't spending every waking moment worrying about my future.

I decide to go and gather a few herbs for a new brew I've been working on. Leda meets me at the edge of the forest, her ginger fur shining in the sunlight. Together we look for different ingredients; rosemary, orangeroot, and barberries. I'm so busy searching that I don't even see the large creature flying over my head.

By the time I notice, it is too late for me to take cover. Leda dashes away faster than I can say my own name. The only thing I can do is crouch on the ground and cover my head. How will I defend myself against a giant eagle? Or even a dragon? How could I be so careless? Grabbing my stick, I turn around, ready to fie fighting. What I see surprises me. A griffin! They're not very common here in Bora. And, when a girl jumps off his back, my heart almost stops.

Okay, I didn't know what to put after that. Anyways, Emma and Bronwyn are meeting! Yay!

Ok, good.  If I write anything that you do not want Bronwyn to say or do, just tell me.

Echo~

Lorcan caws, and lands.  I jump off of his back.  What I see surprises me.  A girl, defensively holding a stick stands gaping at me.  She has a gentle but tough vibe and because of this, I fail to notice her crippled foot until a moment later.  A doe stands stock-still beside her.  "Hello,"  I manage to mutter.

"Hello.  Who are you?"  she blurts.

"Emma.  My griffin brought me here, and I think you can help me because there is something wrong with the Castle,"  I say in a rush.

Bronwyn looks shocked, but remains calm.  "Why don't we sit down?"  We sit down on a dead log on the edge of the forest.  "What happened?  From the beginning."

I explain it all and when I'm done the girl looks as scared as I feel.  I realize that I forgot to ask her name.  "What's your name?"  I ask.

"Bronwyn."

"Will you help?"

"Of course."  I grab a stick from nearby and sit down in the dirt.  Lorcan lies down next to me and Bronwyn's doe stays by her the whole time.  I begin to draw a map in the dirt.  Bronwyn and I have decided to go to each region and gather a team to help us.  We'll go on Lorcan.  We haven't gotten too far into the specifics but somehow, we need to find out what is wrong with the Castle and fix it.  I'd rather not gather the team, but Lorcan wants it and Lorcan knows something about this.  And he brought me to Bronwyn.

Yes! I finally have time to post!

|\~/| Grant

I trudge through the gathering darkness, wishing I could have stayed back in Skara. The trees stretch out in any direction around me, snatching at my clothes as I walk by. Good old Skara. No ground. No trees. Just ropes winding out through the clouds, connecting you to new exciting cities like Donovan and Quirian. Grimacing, I push through a particularly stubborn patch of thorns, pulling my bag from their spiked branches. It's hard to do so, which surprises me. My food ran out two days ago, and since my water supplies are now virtually nonexistent, the bag should weigh nothing. Unfortunately, it still has substance. Puzzled, I flip open my bag, and empty the contents on the ground. My flint, my extra set of clothes, my empty water bottle, it's all there. But something else is too. A small, fuzzy thing is lying there, looking limp and bedraggled. I grab a stick, and prod at it, trying to determine what it is, if it's still alive, and maybe whether or not I can eat it.  After a few moments, I flip it over, to find that it's a rabbit. Now, this I can eat.

A few minutes later, I have a fire roaring. I skin the rabbit, very skillfully for just seeing my first rabbit a few days before I might add, and let the flames char it until the flesh is cooked. I dig in, and then curl up with my bag as a pillow. The mystery of where the rabbit even came from never even occurrs to me.

The Castle is mysteriously falling apart, and it holds Argwen together.  We need to find out why and fix it.  Or everyone will die.  Also, other people can add some more quests, adventures, and dangers.

I want to join! My charrie would have water and fire powers, which sounds like it's OP, but he also has a major weakness. If that is OK, can I join?
