CBer Picturings Thread! 

So here you can write picturings of chatterboxers. Like you do on the Longest Thread Ever, except this is not just posting for the sake of posting. It's posting for a purpose. Not that I have any thing against that thread. Anyway, I will do some on Saturday. Maybe of Balletandbow and Scylla.

back to the Inkwell

I did one for Leeli. It's partly a story, but I think it works.

Your hair is the brown of a finch's feather, while your eyes are the ever-changing blue of a river. You sit on a tree branch, leaning against the trunk, sketchbook in hand. Below, your little sister waits, grinning as only a sweet six-year-old like her can. Laughing at her excitement, you finish the bird you are drawing, carefully coloring its eye a crystal blue. You touch the page carefully, then open the notebook and lift it into a beam of sunlight coming through the trees of the wood. 
Suddenly the bird comes alive, rising from the pages and flying. Your sister gasps and stares in wonder. Its wings are as blue as the sky, only fitting of a being that wishes to soar through the heavens. You grin and nimbly descend from the tree. Your sister tugs on the pale sleeve of your blouse and points as the bird finds a gap in the leaves and takes to the sky. You nod. "He's free now," you tell her, "Free to fly wherever he wishes." 
She giggles. "I want to be a bird."
"How could you be a bird?" You scold, but you're smiling. "You won't even eat your peas at dinnertime, and you think you'd eat worms for breakfast?"
"Ew! Maybe I won't be a bird...But could you draw me a ladybug tomorrow?" She points at the spotted bug crawling up a fern.
"We'll see."
She smiles and takes your hand, starting down the path toward home. You squeeze hers tight and walk with her.

Thanks SydneySong! I love it! I don't have brown hair or sister, but I love sitting in trees and drawing! And I love it anyway ;-) it's great.

Brookeira:

The icey tenrils swirl around a forgotten forest. A soft layer of fog covers the ground, but gentle footsteps can be heard. A elf with snowstorm eyes looks up and shivers, cradling her cloak. Her hands move in a rhymic pattern, and it can be seen that she is controlling the frigid coils first seen swirling around the trees. Her determined eyes narrow as they fix onto another's. She swings the bow off her shoulders, and aims.

SydneySong:

A girl tiptoes through the soft, wet grass beneath her bare feet. Her toes, painted with chipped red nail polish, scrape against the rough dirt. She shuffles her feet nervously, then stretches herself up, standing taller. She starts to hum quietly. She slowly turns, taking in the forest around her. Her mouth falls open and her warbling song continues louder as she starts to dance, twirling like a butterfly floating on a puff of wind. Her song soars up and then slowly sinks down into silence. She stands still, then sinks into a cross-legged sit. She curls in like a bud closing for the night, soon to open.

Could someone do me, please? Leafpool, this thread is amazing! I really have only known of CB picturings as pictures, so this is a very unique, fun idea.
