I did indeed post, but I don't think the Admins liked it. So what I said was...

Gared, please proofread your posts before submitting them. I'm sorry, but I've found so may errors all over the place. It's really dissonant to read. Please, oh please try to fix this. It would be the most amazing thing you could ever do! Thanks!

“Dear me!” Elliot turned around and saw a man. A man who was presumed dead. Standing behind Elliot was his father, Theo.

“How?” Was all Elliot could manage.

“Well,” Theo replied. “It was hard getting out of London. It was hit hard by the spores. But I managed.”

Alexander walked up. He looked confused, but asked: “Maybe we should… go to a cafe?”

Elliot agreed, and they set off for the nearest restaurant.

SOME TIME LATER:

“Well it seems,” Elliot continued. “That my dear brother has gone renegade, and has started this whole… zombie business.”

Theo nodded, and asked: “So we should find him?”

Alexander tossed a sketchbook to Elliot, and answered “Yes. Also, Elli, whose weapon is that?”

Elliot looked annoyed but said. “It’s Elliot, and that slingshot you sketched is the property of Brooklyn. She lives in Portland. What do you wa-”
Alexander cut him off. “I need to see her because I want one. Best weapon I have seen in a- let’s see- year.”

THis is Gared.

Portland was wet. As the Jeep pulled up by the apartment building Brooklyn lived in, rain was falling. Elliot knock, but after a few minutes, Alexander smashed the door open.

Inside the apartment building, a stench of rot was everywhere. THere were rip marks in the walls, and doors stood ajar. But this was normal, after the initial zombie surged, to find buildings almost destroyed. Then they saw the zombies. They swarmed from cracks in the walls, from empty rooms, from windows.

THen an explosion threw Alexander and Elliot off their feet. Standing at the top of a stairwell was a girl. SHe carried a black slingshot and a crossbow.

“I,” She said. “Am Brooklyn. And you better not be working for Gared.”

So do we ship Brooklander now?

~

Low-hanging wisps of cloud drifted by the helicopter as it traveled over the United States. Scylla and Gared flew in silence. "You still haven't told me where we're going," Scylla said finally. "Or do you not know yet?"

"I think LA," Gared answered slowly, thoughtfully. "They won't look there."

"It's a big city," she pointed out. "They might find us anyway. It probably isn't safe."

"Nowhere is safe," he replied softly. The two were once again silent for the remainder of the flight.

Ahhhh! Gosh, why do you have to take control of my charrie like that. Anyway, I am looking through my notebook of Evil Things That I Would Like To Happen To A Character. Hmm, poisoned silverware, laser kittens, atomic squid. Ahh, people going to LA without knowing it is like a bazillion degrees in winter. That should be good. Anyway, you can handle the romance, I will do the action, fighting, stunts, Sherlock impersinations, realease of atomic kittens, and the like.

Sorry about that. So I think we should gather all the people that joined so they can be characters again (because we need that). And LA's in southern California, where I used to live, so I know what it's like. There are no seasons. No. Seasons. The last time it snowed was probably in the Ice Ages.

Hallia says zphr. Zephyr? Should Zephyr be mentioned in the story?

Well, I lived there too, there are seasons. It is about 1 degree farinheight cooler in the winter than the summer. I will get everyone one again.

Elliot was bored. That was probably due to the fact that Alexander had requested to stay in Portland. Alexander had ignored the clue Elliot had squeezed from the ruined tracker in Gared’s helicopter. It was also peculiar that Alexander had been meeting more and more with Brooklyn in a way that the slingshot he requested could not justify.

Finally, Elliot talked to Alexander. “Look,” He said. “Abby is already in LA. She has leads on where GAred is, and we can get him soon. Also, why are you meeting with Brooklyn more and more often?”

“You know why.” Alexander replied.

“So you either have fallen in love, or you are extorting information.” Elliot concluded.

“Why do you care?” Alexander asked.

“So you admit you love her?” Elliot was on the offense.
“You know what I admitted.”

“OK, we leave at dawn.”

ABBY

I hate hot weather. So, naturally, I hate LA. I was supposed to find were GAred is, but not to get close. He is mentally unstable, and may release the spores. Soooooo, what to do?

Elliot is creepy. He shows such little emotion, and is so smart. Do I trust him?

A small mouse crawled from a crack in the wall. A net fell flew down on the squeaking rodent. The net lifted the mouse towards the face of a man. The man dropped the net into a black box. Snapping the box shut, he closed the lock.

In a lab, a serum bubbled in a beaker. A white coated boy with black rubber gloves lifted the bubbling beaker.  The boy poured the serum into the box. The mouse inside squeaked piercingly.

“Ha!” The boy said. “I will just let this monster out on LA, then I will take down the three leaders of the world: Gared, Alexander, and Elliot.”
