Name: Jeremy Castle

Age: 14

Personality: Pretty outgoing, creative, resourceful, extremely bright (in a way) and quickly "figures out" different people and uses what he learns to cheer them up in anonymous ways. Making people happy gives him pleasure, and he enjoys finding new ways to bring smiles to the other patient's faces. The only thing is, a hospital is one of his worse fears. Clean, white, professional, scary. Almost no oppertunities for the imagination that feeds his brain (oh he's so like me in that way :):):) to opperate. He also has an irrational fear of storms, because his father was killed when lightening struck their barn and started a fire. He gets upset with himself sometimes. 

Appearance: Dark blonde hair that is slowly turning into brown. Small, light brown eyes and pale skin. Has a slow, encouraging, gentle smile. Is fairly tall for his age.

Condition: Okay, I don't know what it's called (I'll have to ask someone), but it's where your heart pumps blood the wrong way. So Jeremy can't get a lot of oxygen, his lips are blue, and he only talks and walks occasionally. At least, that was how it was years ago for him. Now, after a series of procedures, his blood is mixing and he's doing fine. BUT there are still problems (gah, I don't know what, I'm not a medical expert) with his heart that have to be fixed in order for him to be healthy. However, his blood platelet count is way down below where it should be, and the procedures aren't working. So he had to be sent to New Mexico for more serious treatments. Which, of course, fixed some problems and caused some more. 

Friends: Cleo??? Maybe they can become friends?

Name: Amelie Sacard

Age: 25

Personality: Severe traditionalist by day, reckless adventure-seeker by night. Passionate in anything and everything she does; has never been one to give less than her best. Neat freak, very perfectionistic, always pushing herself to do better, whether it's on a mountain or in the ER. Tends to take failure very hard. 

Appearance: Straight black hair in a perpetual high ponytail, with a single streak dyed blue; short, tan skin, dark brown eyes. Wiry, athletic build.

Condition: While on a rock-climbing trip, she fell off the rocks by mistake. She was caught by her safety equipment, but a fall of even three feet ending in a sudden stop by one's harness can do serious damage; she fell about five feet and came out with a badly fractured pelvis, not to mention a few rather large bruises. She's been in the hospital's rehab program for a couple months now- which causes her no end of embarrassment, as she's usually an intern in the ER at this very same hospital. 

Friends: The other ER staff, especially the enigmatic Dr. Cherise, who seems to like Amelie for reasons other than the fact that they're both women and both French. Amelie can't for the life of her figure out what these reasons are.

Crushes: Carlos, the Jamaican pathology resident...not that she's told anyone this, least of all him.

Name: Sandy

Age: 16

Personality: shy, but quick witted. BIG heart and high standards for herself.

Condition: well, when she was 8 she had a dancing accident. She accidentally landed wronge on a leap and caused herself to fracture her ankle, tear her ACL, and had a stage three concution. Recently she was involved in a car crash on her first time driving a car. It was icy out and a huge semmi truck crashed into the van. She has a stage five concution, broke three of her spinal plates, broke an arm and a leg, burst her spleen, tore her heart and collapsed a lung. They think that she might go brain dead from her concution, the one fron when she was little had an effect and caused old wounds to reopen.

Friends/crush: her concution is causing a bit of memory loss, she can't leave to bed, so she doesn't know anyone except her nurses and doctors.

Personality: EXTREME prankster. EXTREMELY sarcastic.

Appearance: hair the color of dog vomit so people stay away from her. Carries a tape recorder around when she forgets what she wanted to do but even that doesn't work(see Condition). Foggy eyes
