Okay so you go to a high school called WHS (woods high school). Your mascot is a wolf with silver eyes.
Today you got a letter in your locker writen with red ink saying:
Come to the science room at 9:12 tonight or everyone will know your secret.
Your secret? Your a shape shifter.
At school a Jaguir escaped from the zoo and prosper the halls. Everyone fleeded but you and the others who got the note. You stayed knowing you had to go to this meeting and that you'd be safe in your animal form. You simply told your mom that you were at a friend's house.
Now you can to meet in the science room. You were surprised when Madi, the queen bee pretty girl of the school, came clean and announced that she wrote the note. You watched as she turned into a king cheeta and almost ate a white hamster. She was stopped by a number of other shape shifters, you noticed one as Jay, the hot jock of WHS high. Another was SJ, she was kind ove a queen bee but a favourite victim of Maxi. She had her own group of followers though. The last one you recognize as the quiet, shy girl always at the back of the class. You think her name was Elysia. Madi escaped through a window. And SJ in her form of a Jaguir, gave chase. You saw a slick lynx jump out after them. You were shocked. And stared around at the other shape shifters in in shock. Madi was back in a little more then 5 minutes. She sat down and curled her tail to tell you that there is are people that want to take over the world and that we are all that stands between then. She says that our little town, Woodsdale, has the highest population of shape shifters and if we can't stop them then no one can. Did you belive her? Jay and Elysia didn't. The circled her, questioning weather she killed AN or not you were scarred. She said that SJ GOT what she deserved.
Suddenly there are sirens and and everyone gathers around the window to see SJ and the lynx dashing towards the school. Suddenly they swerve and vanish in the fence forest. But the cars don't stop. Finally the come to a halt in front of the window. Everyone jumps back as it explodes and a tough looking 16 or 17 year old boy comes from the dust. He looks down at Madi and states how she really did come up with a group of shape shifters, and how he could just kill them all right now. Then he told her to join him. She said no. His eyes flashed and he turned into a large, snarling Gray wolf with supersized fangs and claws. He said how she should've joined him while she had the chance. Then he attacked. And Jay and Elysia, shocked, but battle ready, attacked him side by side with Madi. When they had him pinned down he laughed and shot a ball of light or magic at all of them. They were knocked away, and the Fox was knocked unconscious. He glanced up and shot another into the air. An owl fell from the sky, a wild cat catching her in his teeth and leaping out the window. Then he pounced on Maxi, his teeth bared and ready for a death blow. Then she started glowing gold. And like lightning she pushed him off her and into a wall. She got up in a fast movement, staring after him as he transformed and vanished into the night.
After she told you that he was his brother and the leader of the shape shifters planing to take over the world. She said that every shape shifter has a Power to go along with their animal. She said that his was brute strength, and that he could harness his energy into a ball of light that would stun all or kill, depending on how much energy there was. And she said that hers was the Power of speed, giving her the strengths of thunder and the speed and fire of lightning.
And that's were we left off!!! Now anyone can join they just have to stick with the RP and post.
Also the first thread is on the second page if you want to look at it for reference.
The rules for this RP is that no one knows what their Power is and hast to unlock it. The power can't be to OP, but it can't be to bland either. Like you can't have the power to kill anything with your eyes, and you can't have the power to see what another shape shifters animal is. It hast to be something powerful and useful in battle, but not so powerful that it would make you OP.
AND NO ONE CAN HAVE THE SAME ANIMAL.

Appearance as human: teal green eyes, reddish brown wavy hair. Lush lips and long eyelashes. All ways wearing makeup. Tanned skin.
Appearance as animal: Red Orange fur, like a sunset with the smoke and light of a fire in the distance. Has a mix of Orange, brown, red, deep gold spot pattern. Has teal green eyes.
Personality: loud and demanding. But nice and sweet at times. Has a short temper, and doesn't do well solving problems or putting peices together. Hates people that are extremely dramatic about everything. Still figuring out her animal side. If she gets scared when she's in her Jaguir form she turns back into a human.
Power: camouflage. Can shift her form to look like another animal or shift her colours to blend in with her background.
Background: was friends with Piper the winter white hambster in elementary school up to sixth grade when she bit her in her hamster form. She didn't realize that the hamster was Piper, but she knew that Piper had let this happen to her and didn't care and never showed up while she was at the hospital. The bite made her appendix burst and she has a long scar from it. Found out that she was a shape shifter at lunch today, causing the hole school to close down. Because they thought she escaped from the zoo.

Appearance as human: large, muscular but sky build. Has gem blue eyes and dark brown hair. Has tan skin and is the scorer for the football team, he's so sly he can slip out of a tackle.
Appearance as animal: dark midnight pelt with traces for silver spots. Has sharp silver claws and gem blue eyes.
Personality: loud and demanding about everything. Slick with sticky situations, and has many friends.
Power: darkness. He has blend into any shadow, and he cannot harness and shoot shadows which can stun or kill depending on how powerful it is.
Background: found out he could shape shift when he was three. He was playing with his cat and transformed into a baby panther. His parents never knew. He used to be Madi's old boy friend. Now he's SJ's boyfriend and has a crush on Elysia and Piper.

After school, I walk into the cafiteria. In my hand, I hold a water gun. WHy? Because the stupider people are, the more they hate water. That is why offices and studios and some homes get good water. At least, that is statisticly correct.

The assembly was as boring as usual, and the release bell rung, and everyone scattered out to the hallways. I went to my locker to get my social studies textbook, and a note slid out of the locker and landed on the floor. I picked it up and read:
Meet me behind the cafeteria after school. there will be other shapeshifters there too.

Shadow folded up the note and put it into his pocket, and hurriedly locked his locker and set off. Social Studies class was boring as usual, really being History in disguise. We were studying the middle ages, being in 10th grade. The problem with History classes, is that NOTHING is interesting unless they talk about mythology. Mrs. Hubbut, the substitute for today for History was talking about culture, which is SOMETIMES mythology. I was about to fall asleep in boredness until I heard the word "werewolf". I jerked awake and raised my hand. "Yes Curtis?" Mrs. Hubbut said. "Can you repeat that again?" Shadow asked. Mrs. Hubbut sighs, "I said that the werewolf was not very well-known in the middle ages, but were mentioned in literature occasoinally." then Mrs.Hubbut went babbling about the boring stuff.
Soon it was lunch time, and Shadow walked into the cafeteria and one person in particular was holding a water gun. Shadow grabbed his lunch and sat at the back of the cafeteria. SJ, Jay, and Tash were arguing or something into the cafeteria. Shadow took a bite out of his grilled cheese sandwhich, and focused on his power. He had yet to learn to master the mamba entirely, and when he does, he knows there is still more to discover about this power.

i look in alarm at SJ as she slowly starts morphing and shifting. i can see her jaguar form slowly blending into her. i have to stop it now! i look at my linx form and nod, he jumps forward and taps the slowly fading jaguar form on the head. it stops fading and seperates from her. SJ turns back to normal and looks at me in suprise. "what did you do?" i grimace, "sorry about that, you were transforming and i had to stop you, otherwise every kid in this school would be running to the zoo yelling about a rouge jaguar." she turns pale and slowly sank down to sit on the floor. "how?..." i whisper hurriedly "my power is to see a shapeshifters alternate form and if i need, i can temporarily stop them from transforming. right now your jaguar is seperate from you but i can already see it connecting to you again." she looks up, her face seems absolutely terrified and so is her jaguar. she needed to get some help, right now. whatever the other shapeshifters in this school had done to her, it was bad.

i look at the note in my locker, and then head off to class. I didn't know what it meant by shape shifters, maybe it was some video game. I think I'll go check it out.
PS. My charrie does not know he is a shape shifter.

I crouch, in the small, hidden room in the small, hidden facility in the large, wild forest. The door is locked. They injected me today. With a silver liquid, and the strange sound it made when it flew into me made sure that I couldn't resist. The boy had said--"You won't be able to resist joining us after this gets into your bloodstream." But it's in my bloodstream now. And nothing has happened.
I quietly gaze at the bare, white walls, sitting on the only thing in the room--a stone bench. The whiteness, the starched-out whiteout...it is overwhelming, a blanket of white, almost like my feathers. Feathers. I can still shift in and out of being a Swan--I've tried.
Suddenly, the door is kicked open by a booted foot, and it's the boy again, his body sparking with electricity, his eyes alit with a shock inside. "The one that they sent us, and her power was DREAMS!?" he yelled. I'm pretty sure that he's talking about me. "What?" "Don't act innocent! How else could you resist the DreamToxin?!" "DreamToxin!?" "Suuure, you don't know about it. Ever read Divergent!?" (Warning: spoilers to book one ahead.) "D-divergent!" It's flooding into my mind. "They injected the Dauntless soldiers with a toxin that made them sort of...dream while awake. Th-th-th-they were forced t-t-t-to--" I'm normally shy, but this is unbearable. My face goes pale. "My power is dreams?" Is all I manage.
His eyes go wide. "Wow, you really didn't know that--I'm not telling you anything more!" Then he leaves, and slams the door. And I get an idea.
I check my watch, my bandless watch that I keep in my pocket. A bully ripped the band off, so now it's just a pocketwatch. Good--it's night. (by the way, finish your part of the story--quickly please!--before you fall asleep... I don't want to change anything. This writing is in the future).
I transform into a swan, curl up on the bench, and go to sleep.

"Dessa, Dessa....." A voice from my usual dreams chants. "Go away mom." I say sternly. I'm aware of my Power now--please tell me I can use it? I need to find someone. Please tell me this will work, PLEASE!
Suddenly, I'm a human, surrounded by a flurry of light blue sparks, as I acess the multiverse. I step through a shining door, and into a hallway...a hallway filled with lockers. Our school's hallway...but it can't be our school's. It can't be!
I open a locker. One in the middle. And instead of seeing the contents, I see....an image. Of a girl, standing in the middle of a lake, on a bar of sand. A sandbar. The water is rising above her ankles, and soon it will drown her...
She's panicing, and glances everywhere, and starts to run towards a shore, but the faster she runs, the faster the water rises. And then I blink my eyes, reminding myself that I am not in the picture, I should not be afraid.
But what if the picture is a dream.?
I turn to the other side of the locker door, adorned with stickers, pictures, and everything pink. Most of all, four letters done up in pink, permanant marker in cursive style. I place my hand on them, and I breathe the word. "Madi."
I fling myself into the locker, rapidly changing into a swan, a creature of feather, air, and water, as I swim into the water. I am behind Madi, a swan, swimming in the water. She does not turn--the water around her turns her towards me. And then, I sigh. "The water is not rising. it is a simple mirage." I say quietly. Suddenly, on the far shore, I can read a sign--"Mirage Lake". And then, Madi can stand again.
"Did that swan just--" She splutters. I smile, and in a burst of light blue sparks, I am Iridessa. 'Dessa. "Hi, Maddi." "Hi." I smile softly. "You're dreaming." I say quietly. I can see it flooding into her eyes, the realisation. "How did you--you're part of my dream." "All dreams are my dreams." I say mysteriously. "But listen. I think you're going to wake up soon--get help. I'm in the forest. Captive. Your brother--"
And then I wake up.
(I made this to seem like it was written by someone in a dreamlike state. Did I do it right?)

Shadow left the cafeteria to exchange supplies in the locker for the next period when he noticed the principal's daughter was walking through the hallways, almost like she was sleep-walking, but her eyes were open, and she clearly was awake, but deep in her thoughts. Being partially snake, Shadow had terrible hearing, but was able to pick up her mumbling "dreams....listen..wake up...help...captive..." then bumped into a group of girls, and they glared at her in disgust when she finally realised she was awake. They snickered teasingly as they continued, even when she apologized. Black mambas have a rather good sense of sight and being the speediest of snakes, Shadow noticed one of the girls in the group swiftly stuck her leg out to trip her, and she tripped. Shadow knew he would never allow someone to be mean like that, and sped over to catch her. Shadow didn't even know her name, and as soon as he caught her and pulled her up, Shadow sped off to his locker and headed to his next class. He knew at once she was a shifter. Why else would she be acting so strangely? Shadow wondered wether the principal knew her daughter was a shifter. Was the principal a shifter?

I was terrified. He could dissconect a human from their animal? What happened if I need to transform right then?
Suddenly a large, burly man with a wip came bursting through. Tash went to fight him in his lynx form. I tried to shaoeshift to help him, but I couldn't. And one of the other men saw me and shot me. Right through the-
"SJ...." Tash looked at me worriedly. "Are you going to be okay?"
I blinked away my nightmar-day-dream and rubbed my eyes. "Ya. Its okay. I'll be fine."
He looked at me with one last doubting look and hurried off to his next class. I slowly wandered to science and sat at the back of the class.
I saw Kyle storm in with a bunch of jocks and I looked down, pretending to be doing something with my phone. "Hey, owl-pelates!" One of the boys called.
I knew they were talking to me but I didn't respond like they were. "Hey owl-pelates, you scared of us? Huh? Big burly jocks?"
And then something snapped. I stood up with such a force that my chair fell to the floor behind me. "What, do you have a problem with me, Jack***?"
They lauged at my remark. "You know we'd never hurt a girl."
"I can't say the same for you." I growled.
They lauged again. "What's got SJ all rialed up? Did Madi steal her BF?" They started laughing even harder.
I paused, thinking of Jay. What I had said, did he still like me? Were we dating? Or even dating in the first place? "For the record I'm not even interested in Jay anymore. In fact, I have a new boyfriend."
Kyle snorted. "Well who is he?"
I froze, then said he first name that came into my head. "Tash."
The bell rang. The teacher banged his ruler on his desk and told us to sit down. I sat with a huff and brung my hands over my face.
What did I just do?

i walk over to the library and sit down by one of the shelves. i would apologise to SJ after school, i knew it was wrong to block her like that but if i had not she would have transformed in front of the entire school. luckily, my power was not strong enough to block her for more than two munutes. i sat there reading for the next 45 minutes and then left for the next class. i ran into 4 jocks in the hall, the leader stepped up and said " since when are YOU dating SJ?" 'where did you hear that?" i asked "she just told us herself" i stop in my tracks. what? i was not sure weather i was happy about it or mad at SJ. my stomach rolled over and i gulped. i turned and ran. what had just happened?

(Posting as Jay since I haven't posted as him in a long while.) ~Jay
Through the first three classes after the assembly, and my talk with SJ, I was in a sort of confused daze. My brain hated her, but my heart loved her. Was this how girls felt? Am I being too feminine?
Oh man, why did girls have to be so confusing? I'll talk to her at lunch. See what she has to say. Or....not say.
I mean, I like her, but at the same time I hate her. I just don't know what to think! Or feel! My dealings just a messed up jumble.
Uggggggggggg my heart hurt. Why did it have to be this way?
I exited my last class after the bell rang and headed to lunch. I number into, guess who, AN in the hall.

"Hey," he said with a sheepish grin, and I knew that he missed me.
"What are you doing?" I snapped suddenly, and surprised myself with the comeback.
"Oh...um....I-you- I've been thinking about you. Erm, us. Are we....?"
He trailed off just as one of the jocks interrupted. "Oh, Jay haven't you heard? SJ's got a new boyfriend."
I felt my face go pail. "A-what? You do?" His voice cracked as he said that. I think he was hurt. Or broken. Do boys even get broken hearts?
"Look! There he is right now! Tash! TASH!!!!"
I felt my face suddenly flush with colour. How did this go so out of hand so quickly? I spotted Tash in the crowd as he, undoubtfully, was forced to come over by the threat of the large jock.
"Oh." Jay said quietly as he saw the face of the boy. The jock smiled and patted Jay on the back.
"Don't worry Jay-Hawk! You're a player, a ladies man! You'll have another shot!"
He looked down and mumbled 'I guess'. He started dispersing into the crowd, leaving me and Tash. "Wait! Jay!" I cried. Then I covered my mouth embarrassingly.
"What did you tell them?" Tash suddenly snapped. "Where did this hole dating thing come from?!"
Jay was in earshot to hear this and said, "Wait, you're not actually dating?"
"No!" we exclaimed at the same time.
"It was an accident. I let your name slip talking to the jocks. They were pressuring me, okay? And they were rubbing in that Jay and I were no longer a thing."
We walled through the lunchroom doors and went to stand by a table, not wanting to sit down together. "Wait, so we aren't a thing? SJ, be honest. Do you still like me? Were we ever a thing?"
I looked at him before whispering. "I've always liked you, Jay."
I looked down at the ground sheepishly and was about to turn away when he leaned foward. Like the day when I was crying by the lockers. When he came foward and comforted me. I could spill everything to him. Tell him everything after that moment.
And that exactly how I deal now.
Tash suddenly turned a deep red and stammered, "So, you just said that you liked me to cover your dealings for him?"
"Oh..." I swallowed hard, realizing that he liked me too. "I'm sorry Tash. I really am. It was an accident-"
"Well maybe your accident can stay out of my life!!!" And he turned and stormed away.
I blinked after him. Confused yet.......I solved one of my problems this week.
Only a few more to conquer, right?

Okay, here goes a day from the perspective of the Principle.

Why hasn't she answered when I called her? Maybe..maybe...NO. This will not be part of the past that I refuse to face.,..
But I can't deny the truth. She's gone missing....
And I can't sleep. I've been up all night, posting "HAVE YOU SEEN THIS GIRL?" Posters around the school. They read:
Have you seen this girl?
Iridessa J. Summers, daughter of Principal Summers,
went missing tuesday afternoon. And now, mystery
has filled the school. We're looking for anyone who
saw her near the time of her dissapearance, and
anybody who shares certain attributes with her.
She's gone. Nobody's responded. I've given up hope but then there was a knock on my door, and a girl steps in. Madi! My heart both leaps and sinks at the same time. "Hi Miss S. Has the fundraiser started yet for that Puppy Hospital?" Madi asks.
My eyes go wide. "Y-You're not here for--the Puppy Fundraiser is on Monday." I choke. She shuts and locks the door behind her, and then steps up to my desk. "Aunt." She says quietly. "Dessa sent me a message."
My mouth drops open. "How long have you known--" "That me and Dessa are cousins? Forever. And you?" "Your family--we're NOT supposed to know about eachother!" I hiss. "Be quiet!" She snaps. "Dessa's in a forest. In some secret lab." She says.
I sob. "My Dessa, in a la--" '--there's more. I don't think I can get to her without a team of shapeshifters. If she's even worth getting to." "DO NOT QUESTION MY DAUGHTER'S WORTH!" I snap. "She's EVERYTHING to me!"
Madi rolls her eyes. "Whatever." I sigh. My voice has little hope in it and is dry as I speak. "On Monday.. is there any way you could....take the shapeshifters?" "You mean like kidnapping?" "Yep. I have plenty of sleep darts in my arsenal. They won't go voluntairily." I say quietly. "Of course. Do I just explain to them once they wake up?" "Yup. Don't fail." I say quietly.
She touches her wrists together. "For the Imperia." I do the same. "For the Imperia."

So now the ability to shapeshift is anouther attribute to be branded on me.

I'm going to speed things up a bit, and make things a bit interesting.

Drama and rumors were spreading throughout the school. Some people started saying that Tash was dating SJ (Shadow was pretty sure that was untrue), and a bunch of other jumbo mumbo like both Tash and Jay were fighting over something after third period (and Shadow thought that was untrue, but there are bits of truth in rumors).
The bell rang, and Shadow sighed in relief about being free from class. He had fifteen minutes of homework for each period (except for PE and my tech elective of course). But before heading home, Shadow suddenly remembered the note. Shadow went behind the cafeteria, and it turned out he was first there. Loki appeared out of the grass, and sat on a rock nearby, and hissed. Shadow took a deep breath and joined with the mamba, and then slithered over to Loki. "Have you seen Tash and the others yet?" Shadow asked. "No, but they sssssshould be arriving ssssssoon," Loki said. Then, a girl who Shadow knew was Madi, due to her popularity, came in, looking around. Shadow and Loki quickly hid behind the rock. People will panic like crazy if they saw a black mamba. Shadow was about to transform back into human when Tash came around the corner. "Oh, hi Ma-" but he never finished his sentence. With one quick movement, Madi flicked something at Tash, and he dropped, snoozing as a lynx. Madi changed into a King Cheeta and picked up the lynx, to stash it in the bushes, untransform, then grabbed the thing from her backpack, and stood ready to repeat the process. She somehow must've gotten the message as well, and was kidnapping everyone. Shadow and Loki hid beside the wall, then using tail signals, Loki headed back around the corner, prepared to scare anyone who would come this way. Shadow, on the other hand, will start spreading the message. Once Shadow went around the corner, he untransformed, then ran through the hallway. He didn't know any other shapeshifters, but he knew SJ was the only other person he knew who knows some shapeshifters. Tash was great at finding them, and knows which he sent the message to, but he was deeply asleep in the bushes. No chance of warning him without being noticed. Shadow went toward the lockers. He knew people will be around there at this time. A scream echoed through the hall. Loki seemed to be doing his job well. Shadow saw SJ rummaging through her locker. "SJ! Madi is kidnapping all of the shapeshifters, she already got Tash," Shadow yelled.
