World Rentals:

This is like TNÖ's idea. You write about a world, describing them, and then allow others to "borrow" them. This one should be stories, worlds, and story commentary. This isn't Character 911. I'll start with a world:

This world is called Fatanameh Guchahbah. The inhabitants are called Jhonoso Tehs. There are 5 continents, but intercontinental travel hasn't been invented, so they haven't spread to more than one, Tehtehmahani. They have a caste system of 4 castes, like in India, with the bottom one not considered a caste, or even Jhonoso Tehs. Their religion is based upon fire worship, and holy fires are present in every temples, where food sacrifices are made. The priests take them, and are supposed to burn them in the fire once everyone's gone, but they just eat them. Magic's existence is up to you. The four castes are:

Vahias: Top level, rich and regarded as infalliable. Wears jewelry, and is totally covered. subgroups as follows:
Vahias Stseirpas: Preists
Vahias Sgnikas: Kings/nobility
Kashantas: Middle level, cannot be 'owned', masters of themselves. Wears no jewelry, but are completely covered. subgroups as follows:
Kashantas Stnahcremas: Merchants, store owners
Kashantas Knomas: Monks, below priests
Benhaah: Low level slaves, do not 'own' themselves, are ordered around by masters, can only be bought and sold. Wears no shirt and no jewelry. subgroups as follows
Benhaah Suogileras: Religous servants, work in temples, cleaning and working at the holy fires
Benhaah Citsemodas: house servants
Erehttonsenoehtas: The very bottom level, not considered a caste, not considered Jhonoso Tehs as discussed above. Wear only a loincloth. They have no home, and are payed by the 'charitable contributions' of the temples. These are only a few cents a day, only enough to buy the worst foods possible. Ordered around in the streets, must do whatever someone tells them to do. Common phrase for ordering them is "Erees (slang/rude term for Erehttonsenoehtas) do my bidding!"

No Mary-Sues, please! We want faulty characters! No Anti-Sues either! We want realistic! Post stories in progress for this world, along with other worlds!

Anne Rice, Anne Rice... sorry, who's Anne Rice?

The queen of modern vampire lore (Bram Stoker, of course, being the king). She wrote the Vampire Chronicles- Interview With a Vampire, The Vampire Lestat, Queen of the Damned, etc.etc. too lazy to list all of them. Twilight is very, very similar, but published waaaay after VC; however, some twihards claim AR ripped off Smeyer. :(

Here are some additions to the description of my world:

The different platform-worlds do know that other worlds exist, but do not know about each one specifically. They do know about some specific worlds though. Platforms frequently bump into the worlds nearest them. It would be impossible to know about all of these worlds, though, because there are an infinite amount. The frequency of two worlds meeting depends on whether the worlds are in an area with many or few worlds, for some it happens every few weeks, for others, once in a lifetime.

I think Pirocks is right, someone should post a story!

That is... awful. (Not Wizard's alternate universe- that's very good- but the whole AR-ripped-off-Smeyer thing... when was AR published?)

Interview, her debut novel, was published in 1976.

Um... remind me again how a 1976 author was supposed to have ripped off a twenty-first century author published thirty years after her?!

I know, right? But there are Twihards who think she managed it somehow. :\

My world is a forest called Laclaria. Laclaria is located in North America, but only certain magic beings can locate it. They have access if a jewel with an eye is left on their doorstep. By rubbing it twice, they are transported to the forest.

Laclaria starts out on a grassy green sloping hill that gradually enters the woods. Lots of Prickberries surround the entrance. (Prickberries are like blackberries, but are 10 times thornier and are said to have healing powers.)

There are sevral portals hidden beneath dead leaves. If you enter one, you may slip into the world of another creature, such as an elf.

And that's all I can write for now, because I gotta do something else.

More on Laclaria....

There is also a fort called Ghost Fort. There are three rooms. Some say there are leftover maps, treasure, and supplies there. The ghosts of living things that died in battle haunt the fort.

Next to Ghost Fort is The Stubbles. There's a big tree with several wood pieces and tree stumps bordering it. It's a hiding place for rabbits and squirrels.

Circle Swamp is next. It's a magical body of water that prospers in fall and dies in the summer. In the winter, the surrounding trees turn white with icicles and crystals grow out of the ground. Frogs, small eyeless fish, bugs, and deer all live here. There are also small creatures called Blawhities, skunk like animals who protect the swamp from intruders by saying:

Foreproial, Gowaemie!

It makes enemies run away in sheer fright.

Across from Circle Swamp is Log Run, where the Woods Train passes through. It's a colorful train with fanciful creatures as conductors.

I'll post some of the locations that the woods train runs through soon.

Laclaria, Part 3

The Woods Train has sevral locations, including:

* Prestbrantian River. Prestbrantain River is connected to Circle Swamp. Thornicus, spiky plants, rule the area. Some major landmarks are Dustladder Hill (A secret fort with logs for ladders) and Mud Lake (A muddy lake with poisonus snakes). There is a large amount of litter from a leak in a portal.

*Ryrea Hill. Ryrea Hill is a small slope covered in skinny trees and wet brown leaves. It is very close to Unknown.

*Unknown. Unknown is, well, unknown. Only One True Heart can dodge the Maze Of Trees and discover what Unknown is, according to a scroll in Ghost Fort. The inhabitants of the forest need to search for that person.

* Rainbow Lake. In Rainbow Lake, the weather is always sunny. Mermaids swim under a trickling waterfall. There is a bolder next to a mountain surrounding the area; it is a portal to the place with all the things we wonder are true. (Vampires, Unicorns, etc.)

Well, I think that's it. SO WHO WANTS IT?

Perficio means PERFECT in Latin.

Perficio is a parallel version of Earth, where everyone one is perfect. Except for 1) the Imperfects AKA intruders who accessesed Perficio through the Eclipse Portal (more about that later) and 2) the Silver Bearers. They are known as Silvers in slang terms, though slang is only used through the Silvers themselves. The Silvers are those who exterminate the Imperfects who do not have the Silver Bearing. Each Silver is imperfect, and receive the Silver Bearing the second they turn 15. The Silver Bearing is a silver tattoo that swirls up the left forearm all the way up to the Silver's face. The Silver Bearing has no actual pattern or picture and changes per every Silver.

 The Silvers and Their Bearings

The Silver Bearing is what distinguishes the Imperfects from the Silvers. The Silvers are used to terminate the imperfect non-Silvers, as the Perfects are too perfect that they cannot bring themselves to terminate the Imperfects, however, it is shown in Tatt (a story I'm trying to write) that the Perfects are imperfect by wanting everything and everyone to be Perfect and doing anything to accomplish that. Even if it means commanding murder of the innocent.

 Perficio World

Perficio is beautiful. It shows no effects of pollution as the inhabitants use only Solar and Lunar powered items. Perficio's waters are clean enough to drink from if filtered well enough. Salt water can be filtered into drinking water through a normal household object called the Salt Water Filter.

Perficio is seperated into four Continents. Eba, Mausa, Inka, and Lowell.

 Eclipse Portal

Every eclipse in the Humanoid world (Earth) would open a portal in random places that would lead to Perficio. Silvers would usually be waiting at the opening of the portal into Perficio.

 Social Life

The typical life of an adult Perfect would be the same as a normal Human except the meals would be well-balanced and nutritious, the jobs would be well paying and fun, and each day would consist of happy socialization and exercise. The Silvers life would be the same, except the meals wouldn't be as healthy, the job would be tiring and much longer, and social interaction wouldn't be as common.

The typical life of a teenage and children Perfects would be the same as an adult Perfect's except the job would be replaced with school. The 15-18 year old Silvers would have the exact same life as an adult Silver, except they might not have to work as long.

 Ranks

Perfect: They all treat each other equally and know that each Perfect is different in their own way. Though that isn't always a good thing.

Silver-Born: They became a Silver at the age of 15 and were born and raised in Perficio.

Silver-Outsider: They came from the Humanoid world and came into Perficio with the Silver Bearing.

Imperfect: They come from the Humanoid world.

Runners: They pretend they're Perfects and live in the Perfect world.

Any questions? Oh, and if you want to use Perficio, please ask first. ;-)
