Inspiart Academy CB Story

You have just enrolled at Inspiart Academy. You were extremely excited to discover the new boarding school for creative people, and immediately filled out all the paperwork. As soon as the limo--yes, limo (what else would a semi-proffessional artist travel in?)--arrives, you will be departing for the academy, along with eleven other artists.

~ ~ ~

Welcome to Inspiart Academy, the all-too-cheerfully named boarding school. On the outside, it's happy and welcoming. But it hides a deep, dark secret….

Will you join?

*Grins maniacally* Oh, wait, you already signed up! Heeheeheehee….

And by the way, this is not a ski lodge, though it might sound like one. It's a CB story, as stated in the title.

~ ~ ~

RULES

1) 12 people may join. 6 MCs, 6 Secondaries.

And that's basically it. Oh, and--I would love to admit extra people, like, "Oh, alright...but just for _____." But I will just have to harden my heart and say no. Sorry. :/

PART THREE

Leeli rolled over onto her back with a faint groan. From where she was lying, she could see her aqua alarm clock brightly shining. It was two thirty-three a.m.

She pushed her teal-and-gold quilt off herself and sat up, rubbing her eyes blearily.

Maybe I can get some water, she thought.

Climbing out of her bed, she straightened her pajamas and blindly put on her slippers in the dark. Then she groped around for her door handle and slipped out into the hallway.

Let's see, where's the bathroom? Fredrik, the director, had shown them where they were yesterday.

I think--down the hall to the right. She felt her way quietly down the hallway.

In a moment, she blundered into a solid door and opened it to reveal the brightly-lit girl's bathroom.

A block of plain white sinks stood in the middle of the bathroom, with faint pink stalls in a ring around them. The floor was pink-and-white tiled, and the walls were white.

Squinting in the bright light, Leeli padded over to a sink and pulled a cup out of the stack that was next to it. She turned on the cold water and filled the cup.

As she drank, she glanced at her reflection in the mirror above the sink and wrinkled her nose. My hair is a mess, she thought. She'd tied it into a loose ponytail when she was getting ready for bed last night, but most of it had pulled out and tangled into a big knot around her head.

She finished her water and tossed the cup into the trash on her way out.

As she got back into her bed, she heard two quiet thumps from outside her door, then another thump, and then everything was silent.

Leeli held her breath.

After a few minutes, she relaxed and lay down on her pillow. Maybe it was just the plumbing or something….

Or something.

When Leeli woke up the next morning, she had completely forgotten about the noises on the previous night. She hopped out of her bed and opened her curtains, letting the sun stream in through the window. Her room was in the front of the building, and through the window she could see the walkway and the fountain.

What a perfect day for drawing on the patio, she thought.

She opened pulled her door open to go to the bathroom, and felt her foot brush against a cold, soft lump in front of her doorway.

Leeli looked down, annoyed, and shrieked.

Lying in front of her door, stretched out flat, was the body of Killim.

She jumped back into her room and pressed herself against the far wall. Her hands trembled.

Having heard her shriek, the rest of the CBers arrived, in various states of sleepiness. But when they saw Killim lying there, her limbs ruler-straight--

Ice Wolf gasped and stepped backwards quickly; Booksy started sobbing; Elizabeth fainted; Danie twitched; Cockleburr whimpered slightly; Applejaguar shivered; Tuxedo Kitten let out a very fandom-oriented swear, and Mei-xue bit her lip so hard it started bleeding.

Killim was dead.
