What are some of your favorite names? A list of mine include*:

Reeve, Tamika, D(u)rell, Allegra, Rage, Carimine, Adelphi, (Z)Adelia, Rowan, Lysander, Silas, Adreika, Vengance (I know that's kind of morbid, but if you don't think about the meaning it's really cool), Frost, Jasper, Krystle, Sage, Tuesday, Noble, Grace, Muretta, Muriel, Raylie, Kimber, Celeste, etc. I'll post more later

*: People may only use the names posted on here with the permission of the Chatterboxer that posted it. Failure to do so will result with severe withdrawl of suggestions on that story :D:D:D (But I'm serious. Don't copy without permission)

Yeah, I like The Waltons. If that's the series you're referring to. And Jon Boy is my favorite, almost. Elizabeth is funny, and Jason is nice. One of my favorites is Yvette, similar to Yvonne.

I LOVE the name Lysander! It is the best name ever!!!! :D:D:D:D:D Emily, I look at maps to get ideas for names, too! Generally maps of Arabia, etc., because the names are so neat, and how many people are going to recognize the name? For example, in one of my stories, my mane characters names are Korkutelli, Ayden and Quasir. Aren't those neat? Those are towns/cities in the Middle East. I got it from a National Geographic map!

Yeah, Lysander is a cool name! But Eritrea has an etheral, airy charm to it....I think my hamster's eating my dress, so I'd better stop. (She sits on my shoulder while I type. Very cool.)

Yeah, places make great names, too: London, Asia, Bristol, Scotland, etc.

Some more: Livid (once again kind of morbid, but pretty all the same), Ellabeth (sorry, z's bug me when they're in names, so I edited Elizabeth), Kaya (cliche, I know), Landon, etc. I kind of drained my supply on the last one, but I'll post more when I think of them.

PS: I think that a really cool boy name is Levi. I have a friend named that and I looove the name!

The "z" in my "Elizabeth" thanks you.

*blushes like a lobster* ( do lobsters blush? ) I didnt' mean it that way! I simply meant that I have not perfected the art of writing a "z". I have horrible handwriting, but "z" is the worst, so I try to leave that out. It's a lovely letter, really, and it sounds amazing, but thanks to my fat stupid handwriting, I have grown to dislike writing them...

No, no, I'm not offended! I was being jocoserious. :)

Ooh, a lot of those could be faerie names. I like Lyric and Iridescence.  *drools*

Some of my faves are Thaelen, Adryn, Meadow, Demetra, Kija, Shae, Astra, Kress, Jereth, Taliana, Jaden, Kyren, Breck, Morwyn, Mordred, Liriel, Lutha, Tenebrae, Andra, Nath, Lyric, Irk, and Memory. Now, lemme make something clear. These names are all copyright ME (except Astra, Shae, Meadow, Demetra and Tenebrae). So don't use 'em without my permission, kay? Most of these already belong to my characters, and it is so confusing to have two completely different characters with the same name, you know? Thank you. Have a nice day.

Hey, look, it's the middle of the night! That always seems to happen when I type. Time goes by so quickly...

Thursday, Wednesday, Nellie, Belinda, Drusilla, Spike, Inara, Jayne, Jack, Azkadellia (say it out loud, it's such an awesome sounding name), Will, Otto, Amadi, Xander, Xavier, Lucinda, Safira (not for a dragon though :\ actually it was a vampire name when I first heard it), Kay, Morgan, Alice/Alis/Alyss, Baxter, Nicole, Toby/Tobias, Helena, Bo, Bryan, Elena...

Isn't it cool how so many ordinary words are rocking names? And I like Azkadellia immensely. Looks weird, sounds awesome. :) For some reason I love Will and Alyss too, and Elena is good. Inara is cool. You have good names. That's one of my hardest parts of writing - finding good names.
