Chatterbox: Inkwell

Favorite names.

Favorite names.

What are some of your favorite names? A list of mine include*:

Reeve, Tamika, D(u)rell, Allegra, Rage, Carimine, Adelphi, (Z)Adelia, Rowan, Lysander, Silas, Adreika, Vengance (I know that's kind of morbid, but if you don't think about the meaning it's really cool), Frost, Jasper, Krystle, Sage, Tuesday, Noble, Grace, Muretta, Muriel, Raylie, Kimber, Celeste, etc. I'll post more later

*: People may only use the names posted on here with the permission of the Chatterboxer that posted it. Failure to do so will result with severe withdrawl of suggestions on that story :D:D:D (But I'm serious. Don't copy without permission)

I didn't really look at the other names, so I hope I'm not copying anyone. My favorite names are so not as exotic as all of yours. I like: Mary Josephine (duh, stating the obvious), Isabelle Sutton, Clare Marie, Therese Elizabeth, Amelia Grace, and I can't think of anymore just now.

I like Addie (short for Addison Kennedy), Sophie, Julie, Ellie, Kennedy, Emmy (variation on Emily or Emmy), Kara, Becky, Jay, Naomi (like my SI), Rachel, Skye (after the Penderwicks character), Abigail, Lena (guess why!) and many, many more....

H'm. Not too many boys' names. I guess I just focus on girls because I'm one?

Boys' are hard... I often end up just adding an "o" to reular names (Roberto, Ricardo, Gregorio, Edwardo, etc.).

What is an "SI"?

Oh, that stands for 'secret identity.' We had some of those games where you make a pseudonym for yourself and people try to guess who you were. I was Naomi once.

Most of these names I made up myself with help from some of my friends.

Jasalan, Alain, Evenwere, and Q'rtuv.

Guess what! In Lebanese, "boose" means kiss. So "boosie", I'm assuming, means kissy, or kissable. My cousin even has a stuffed bear named Boosie Bear. I'm 50% Lebanese, so we use the word boose all the time. ALL the time. My great grandfather used to say, "A boose without a hug is like an apple without cheese."

NO, apples with cheese is GROSS! That's just what my great grandfather used to say to emphasize how important it is to hug when you boose.

My 10 year old cousin is a SCREAM. (that's what he's always saying about himself: "Oh, I'm such a scream.") He has already picked out the names for his 12 kids. Their is 1 girl and 11 boys. Let me try to remember the names: Hiram, Kimberly, Solomon, Jessie, Obidiah, Adoniram, Oscar, Jedidiah.....um, I forget the rest. But you get the picture. :)

I asked about a month ago what if his wife disagrees with all the names; he paused and then said, "She won't."
