Tree Town Story
For hundreds of generations, the Mother Tree has stood in the center of the town of Mirileth. It is a gigantic tree--its shaggy trunk is too large for several people to join hands and reach around it. It's tall--so tall, it seems to touch the heavens, stretching its limbs up and out. And its leaves are monstrous, wider than the space between your hands would be if you spread your arms out as far as you could. They are of many colors, making the tree look like a sea of rainbows. Each leaf stands for one life in Mirileth. When a baby is born, a new leaf will sprout and grow. And when a citizen dies, their leaf will fall from the tree's branches and slowly drift to the ground, while the tree weeps tears of sap.
But something is terribly wrong. The tree is sick, and the leaves are falling--and each time a leaf falls, one person dies.
The mayor of the town has called the citizens together, and this day will choose fourteen children--two representatives from each leaf clan--to form a group that will attempt to find the cause of the tree's sickness and reverse it.

I am, in a way, bringing back this roleplay, which I believe was originally created by Katydid. But this time...it's a story. Not a CB story, a solo write.
The leaves, originally called Nortasun Hostoak, or "personality leaves" by Katydid, are seven different colors, and two CBers can join for each leaf color. The color of your leaf vaguely dictates what you will be like, or what skills you will have.
The Green Leaf~ People with the green leaves are generally skilled at things involving nature.
The Blue Leaf~ Blue-leaf people are generally skilled at things involving water or swimming.
The Red Leaf~ People with red leaves tend to be aggressive or warlike, skilled at the arts of combat.
The Orange Leaf~ People with the orange leaves are usually intellectual, smart, intelligent.
The Yellow Leaf~ Yellow-leaf people tend to be good at understanding people's and animal's feelings.
The Purple Leaf~ Purple-leaf people are skilled at creative things, such as writing, drawing, architecture….
The Pink Leaf~ People with the pink leaf have assorted talents. This leaf is slightly less common that the rest, and its owners can have talents in thievery, (discouraged by the town elders) singing, (encouraged) gardening...really anything.
Note: None of the talents are magical.
Second note: This is set in a medieval-type fantasy world, please make your charries with that in mind.

My character.
Name: Hestia
Age: 8
Appearance: Long, wispy blonde hair that's always either loose or up in a bun. She has dark grey eyes and long, curly eyelashes. Hestia is about 3'11", and medium weight. She has a way of smiling at you that will make you feel uneasy for some reason or other, and her emotions have a habit of showing plainly on her face. She wears a lot of knitted dresses.
Personality: Sweet, likes to help people. But she often acts older than she is, as if she was 13 instead of 8. Hestia has a vast knowledge of plants, and carries a satchel full of various herbs with her wherever she goes.
Leaf color: Green
What is your character's talent?: Hestia is talented in healing people, and like I said she knows a lot of plants that she uses to make poultices and medicines.
Family members: She has a mother, a father, and two twin older sisters.
Relations to other characters?:
Other: Hestia as an odd accent, because her parents came from a land far away. But when she was born, the Mother Tree accepted her just like the rest of the tree's "children."
Note: Don't expect me to post a new chapter more than once or twice a week. I'm aiming to take my time with this and do actual, quality writing. Also, I like writing on paper so that will add to the wait.
Yet another note: Each chapter/segment will be from a different character's POV.

Name: Eve
Age: (between the ages of 8 and 18) 15
Appearance: Short white hair, violet eyes. Wears a purple outfit.
Personality: Detached. Is focused on her creative pursuits and not the outside world. A bit absentminded. Very smart. A poet. Gets excited about art and writing.
Leaf color: Purple!
What is your character's talent?: Writing and, oddly, hypnosis. No, it's not a superpower, but she knows how to hypnotize people with a watch and chain.
Family members: Her mother, the ruler of the purple clan. Her father is deceased.

Name: Layla
Age: 14
Appearance: Platinum blonde hair that is whispy and has slight waves/curls at the bottom. She is very pale and fragile looking, with big inquisitive green eyes. She wears halter dresses that go down to her knees and are flowly towards the bottom, and they are always in the blue/green spectrum. She looks cheerful but tends to hide many of her emotions on the inside.
Personality: She tends to be quioet and mor etowards confiding in her self, often wandering off by herslelf to different places (the woods or the streams are her favourite). She doesn't care about being liked or having friends, but she doesn't mind them. She's very brave and often curious.
Leaf colour: Blue
Talent: She can bend water and loves to make it flow through her fingers.
Family: None
Relations: I'm not sure, she's up for a friend, whatever you decide to do for shipping

Appearance: originally black hair, but she's dyed it pink. Brown eyes, slight smile(which hardly ever shows up) but is most likely wearing a scowl. Likes wearing comfortable clothes that are good for climbing.
Personality: sarcastic, a bit of a short temper, but very clever and cunning.
Leaf color: pink
What is your character's talent?: climbing, thieving if you want
Family members: her mother is a quiet tired woman who tends gardens and her father is a preformer who strongly discorages his daughter's activities.

Other: Got really into gymnastics, but then broke her leg while trying to teach flips to an unpatient learner. When not active she sulks.

Appearance: Blue eyes, a dark brown vest over a long sleeved white shirt. Blond hair.
Personality: Kind, and very creative. Has a very complex mind. Attentive, but reserved. He also is a hard worker.

What is your character's talent?: Architecture and drawing. Loves sketcing a beaver burrow near his house.
Family members: He has a older sister named Alice (18), and a younger sister named Mable (10). He and his sisters live with thier Grandma and Granpa.

Name: Adacaius (Add-a-kai-uss) Birchon (Burk-onn)
Age: 18
Appearance: He's ethnically Indian (India, not Native American), so he has darker skin and rich brown eyes. His hair is black and shaggy, but he dyes a streak of it blonde. One of his ears has an earring in it, and he normally wears a big gray trenchcoat that wraps around his body. Below it, though, he wears green and brown clothing that's loose and kind of baggy, like he hasn't washed them often. He also has round glasses, but he usually only wears them for reading (so all the time).
Personality: Adacaius is definitely a nerd. He loves to read and write in a personal journal he carries around, but he also sketches wildlife and the people he sees around him. "A fascinating character study!" He's huge on math and science, and often hangs out with green and yellow-leaf people, as he likes to study animals and plants. Adacaius is also an introvert who would rather stay inside to look over his books, but he's not shy about meeting people (quite the opposite- he has nearly no shame), he just likes to be alone in the quiet.
Leaf color: Orange leaf
Talent: Adacaius can compute things in just seconds, even though they may be very difficult. He can also identify any plant he sees in the wild or growing in a garden.
Family members: Adacaius has a mother, father, and younger sister who all live in the town, but he lives in a small apartment-cottage by himself. "I'm independent now!"
Relations to other characters: He's good friends with Hestia and likes spending time with her, but other than that he doesn't know many people.
Other: I don't think he'd be interested in any shipping, but he's open for friends.

Age: 13
Hostoak/Personality: Orange. She used to be Yellow person, but somehow her leaf changed and now she is Orange. She doesn't talk untill she has something to say, and when she does have something to say, it is always worth listening to. She almost never smiles or laughs, because nothing seems funny anymore.
Appearance: Tall, has silvery grey eyes, long golden-blonde hair, pale skin.
Other: Her mother is dead and so is her father. She lives with her uncle and aunt.

Name: Citra Magpie
Age: 16
Appearance: Braided (french braid?) dirty-blond hair that reaches the middle of her back (Do they have to wear medival clothes?), usually a simple dress and no shoes. She has dark eyes that glimmer in the sunlight. She's about middle height, maybe a little on the short side, and is pretty strong because she helps out on her parent's farm.
Personality: Friendly although very serious. Despite this, usually she has a light step and is easy to talk to. She's not easily scared away. However, she is overly cautious sometimes, which can be annoying.
Leaf color: Yellow
What is your character's talent?: Interpreting all sorts of expressions, actions and gestures even if she doesn't know the person. She can almost always tell how a person is feeling.
Family members: She has five siblings two brothers who are older, on e who's younger, and two little sisters, along with her parents and her mother's cat.
Relations to other characters?: @Clouded Leopard, could she be friends with Adacaius?
