Stormpelt trotted over to the fresh kill pile. He had just gone on morning patrol and wanted to get a bite of eat before he trained with Echopaw. He snached up a fat watervole just before Birchheart could grab it. "Nice try but to slow," Stormpelt grumbled to him after taking a large bit and laying near the warriors den. Birchheart plucked a small mouthed bass and layed down next to him. "Are we training together today?'' he asked. "Yeah," Stormpelt replied. I wish I didnt get an apprentace. "I had an idea of where we could we could train." Birchheart said matter-of-factly, "The halfbridge would be a good challenge. Teach some more water defence." Stormpelt stretched. "Sure. Ill go get the two 'paws." He got up, licked his paws from the vole blood, and stalked over to the 'paws den. "Waky waky! Rise and shine!"

Fireflypaw stretched, then after a moment hopped out of bed. "Morning Stormpelt! Wheres Birchheart?" "He just finished his meal. We'll be at the halfbridge practicing battle defences." "Thanks!" Fireflypaw headed out of the den. Stormpelt turned to Echopaw, still in her nest. Of course I get the lazy 'paw.  He nudged her in the ribs. "Stop it! Ill get up... Eventually..." she groaned. "Birchheart and Fireflypaw are waiting outside. Get up now or we'll be rotten fish!" Echopaw sighed then pulled herself out from her well slept in nest. Stormpelt trotted out of the den to Birchheart and Fireflypaw. Echopaw was staggering toward them, eyes drowned in sleep. Birchheart let out a sigh. He turned to Stormpelt. "This is going to be a long day." Stormpelt replied with an equal sigh "No kidding."

No thank you. And I don't think that Someone is going to RP as all of those cats. They might be NPCs, but I could be wrong.

No, PinkPanther was correct. I want my cats to remain Windclan, and even though some of them might be Windclan and NPC, I still have a reason for them being there. Sorry. 

Okay....well, in that case, I came up with something to explain why Windclan has so many cats! 

*cough cough* not so long ago, Blizzardstar became the leader of Windclan. With her she brought a thurst to rule the forest, and wanted the clans to bow down before her. But no matter how many times they fought at the border, or how much territory she claimed, they still regected her offer. So, she came up with a new plan. She and her most loyal Windclan warriors started sneeking into the other clan's camps at night to steal kits and young apprentices. She then trained them to be loyal to her, and to oppose the other clans, especailly the ones they came from. So every time the clans tried to take their kits/apprintances back, the kits/apprintances would fight back. Now, if the mom/father/siblings wanted the kits/apprintances to love them again, they would have to join Windclan. And that's what many of them did. 

Do you guys like it? I mean, it puts extra hate towards Windclan, and maybe a few cats can find out that they were from Thunderclan/Riverclan/Shadowclan, and that can add more plot to the story. I think Ill have Downyfeather be Thunderclan, and her mom and dad died in battle trying to get her back, whilest her siblings were stolen with her, but ended up dieing when the clan revolted and killed Blizzardstar and her followers. 

@Zen and PinkPanther, can I add some onto the family tree story? How about Silverstar was stolen from Thunderclan? And maybe Hawkmoth (maybe he was from Riverclan originally?) separated Cherrykit and Falconkit to protect them, letting Cherrykit be raised by a Thunderclan she-cat who had lost her kits, and Falconkit being raised by a Riverclan she-cat who had also lost her kits. And nobody knows where either one of them came from, because he just dropped them off where he knew they would be found and cared for, before going to Windclan to try and get Silverpaw back. But sadly, he died in the process. And Silverstar was the one to tell them they were all siblings?

@Atumn Leaves, ah, ok. Also, sorry to burst your bubble....but Grey is also taken. Try Cloudstorm, or Hailstorm?  

@Pinkpanther, the prefex Birch and Light are already taken. Can you change Birchfall and Lightfoot's names? And Cherrysky has a mate already, Lakeclaw.

@Echoclaw, Echo and Mud are already taken as prefexs. Can you switch Echoclaw and Mudtail's names? 

@Elementgirl, so, I gotta an idea for the leader and kits. Maybe you could make another queen, one who's kits were maybe stolen or died of sickness, and that queen maybe volenteered to raise Ripplestar's kits, so she could still lead the clan and train her apprintance? How does that sound? 

@Someone, Feather is already taken as a prefex. 

Also, @EVERYONE, OUR APPRINTANCES NEED MENTORS. So can Redheart mentor Maplepaw? And can Greybelly mentor Frostpaw? And can Vipernose mentor Littlepaw? And can Mosswing mentor Featherpaw?

Okay, and now I'm writing. 

Echopaw~

I was having a nice dream about chasing a vole when a voice spoke to me. A face appeared in front of me, shimmering pelt and glowing eyes. My eyes widened as I took in the figure. "Wakey wakey! Rise and shine...!" It said.

I couldn't believe it! Starclan was speaking to me! But what could 'Wakey Wakey Rise and shine' mean? Was it up to me to decode it?

Just then it reached foward and poked me. I fluttered open my eyes to a sharp jab in my ribs, and my mentor standing right in front of me. Starclan. Who am I kidding? Nobody that important would ever talk to me. "Stop it...." I grumbled, swatting a paw at him. "Ill get up......Eventually....." 

I blinking my eyes a few times to see Stormpelt roll his eyes at me. "Birchheart and Fireflypaw are waiting outside. Get up now or we'll be rotten fish!" 

Slowly, I got to my paws, which really did feal like they had been chasing a vole all night. Or maybe it was just the soreness of the vole I chased yesterday against my mentors will. Nobody said being an Apprintance would hurt! Stormpelt started fowards and I grumbled under my breath, "Rotten fish dont sound that bad," but he didnt hear me, or if he did, he gave no sign of it. 

His tail flicked out into the blinding sunlight and I followed him, blinking my eyes and staggering with sleep and protest to the sun. I was shocked to see that the sun was nearly a quarter up in the sky. "This is going to be a long day." I heard Birchheart sigh. 

"No kidding." My mentor agreed.

I snorted in their direction and started towards the fresh kill pile, where Fireflypaw was crouched digging for something good. "Wanna share this rabbit?" She offered.

"Sure." I responded, blinking the last of sleep from my eyes and settling back down beside her.  I winced as my paws protested against the quick movement. 

"'Paws!" I heard Birchheart bark. "How did you get 'sit down and eat' from 'get up?!'"

"Uh....." Fireflypaw started, staring blackly at him, blood dripping from her muzzle.

Birchheart sighed. "Nevermind. Go ahead and eat. We'll go when youre finished."

Fireflypaw and I finished the rabbit in a few ravounous bites, and where ready to go a few seconds after. "Are we training today?" My sister asked excitedly.

"Yes, we're going to teach you some old-fashioned Riverclan moves." Stormpekt answered, his voice linned with annoyance. 

"Is your attitued part of that?" I challanged. 

He growled threaeningly. "If you say another comment like that youll be cleaning the elder's den for a week!"

My jaw snapped shut, but my eyes continued glaring at him as we exited the camp. 

Erm, no offence, but I think you're kind of trying to control a lot of the story. I realise that there are a lot of cats in Windclan, but that happens sometimes in clans. Remember that Shadowclan is also close to having 20. In fact, I'll make the 20th right now as a NPC. 

When you put so much hate into another clan, then it isn't fun for the leaders or deputies of that clan to RP anymore, because everyone else would only RP about how much they hate them and all the fights that happen. Trust me, I know, this isn't my first time doing this. Also, to respect my anonymity, please don't try to guess me.
