Welcome to Fenford

Welcome to Fenford RP!

OK, so I know that I have a bad rep for not starting or posting on RPs, but I have a good feeling about this one. Sorry, just needed to get that out of the way. ON TO THE INTRO!

~~~~~~~~~
A wooden sign sits next to the road, swaying slightly in the breeze. It reads, "WELCOME TO FENFORD, PENNSYLVANIA! POPULATION: 37 HUMANS, MULTIPLE CATS, DOGS, BIRDS, AND ONE LLAMA. OH, AND A FEW GHOSTS.
The town in question is small, with the majority of the multicolored houses grouped up together on the West side of town. The Plaza is in the center, its cobblestones almost constantly clattering with the sound of feet. On the North side of town lies the Industrial District, where the old railroad and the car factory is. Password: Washing Machine. On the East side lies the Town Hall, with his two clocks, both broken. Also in the north is Oppenheimer's Market where people buy groceries and other things. On the south side lies the old Malconten Manor (one of those old mansions that go on forever), and Welsmith High, Middle, and Elementary School (that's literally what it's called).
Something is happening, though. The Town Hall is dying. He's talking less and less every day. Ivy is beginning to grace his windows. But there's more. The ghosts aren't coming out of Malconten Manor as much anymore. Fenford is losing its peculairity.
~~~~~~~~~~

So, yeah. This RP takes place in Fenford, Pennsylvania, which is a small town in the middle of nowhere. Fenford is not just a normal tow, though. Fenford is peculiar. Very peculiar. The Town Hall (who's name is Hal) likes to give public announcements every morning, Malconten Manor is haunted by some freindly (and some unfreindly) ghosts. But the problem is that Fenford is slowly losing its peculiarity.

RANDOM SIDENOTE: I just read the book Dead End in Norvelt, which is kinda my inspiration.

The people of Fenford are all kinda weird and have their own quirky characteristics (ex. my character Theo uses echolocation, and can recite every Stevie Wonder song by heart). So, without further adeu, the charrie sheets!

A NOTE ABOUT CHARRIES: try to make them all quirky, but don't go too crazy. I don't want any orc-golbins or sheep-men.

My charrie (as customary for me) will be posted after the first one. If you have any questios, feel free to ask them!

Kilp says nmtz

If you're still accepting people, I would love to be in this (I'll be the llama, I don't care)

I RESERVE A SPOT!! I have a charrie I've been dying to use, and I think I can make her fit right in.

Once I climb out of the horrible homework pit of doom, I'll post her sheet.

Name: Aurora "Aurie" Josephson

Gender/Pronouns: Female (she, her)

Age: 15

Species: Human

Appearance: Average height and build for her age. African-American, with medium-dark-brown skin and hair that just kind of explodes around her head. Has a slight gap between her two front teeth.

Personality: Free spirit, kind of insane. She is a daredevil to the extreme, a total adrenaline junkie, but not to show off, just because she finds it fun. She loves nature and the outdoors, and is never inside when she could be outside. She isn't very focused on things like schoolwork, and in terms of emotional dilemmas, she ignores them when she's around other people and thinks them through while she's wandering around by herself.

Siblings/pets: A twin brother named James

Password: Washing machine

Other: Open to shipping. Also, if anyone wants to be James, that's cool.

Forgot to mention that on his sheet.

Awesome! And you know what, I'm gonna be the llama. Probably most interesting character I've had but hey, at least it'll be fun.

Name: Llillian (double l there for a reason)

Gender: people have kind of assumed she's a girl because of her name so we're going to roll with that. Pronouns: she, her, etc.

Age: 5 (still pretty young as they usually live to be around 20)

Species: guess

Appearance: I advise you look up a picture. Llillian is pure white (she hates dirt) with black ears, tail, and feet. Other than that she looks like a normal, well-groomed llama. Usually. Sometimes she'll have a mohawk or whatever the newest crazy hairstyle is but it only lasts a few days. Note: llamas have longer faces, shaggier, coarser coats and are bigger than alpacas.

Personality: this is where it gets weird. She is sentient, in fact, she's more intelligent than most humans with very humanoid mental characteristics. Llillian is extremely proud of her uniqueness and likes to show off how smart she is. Stubborn, won't do anything until you almost beg her (except her owner who I'm assuming is Doctor Who's charrie). Very emotional, will sulk for days if her feelings are hurt (which happens a lot). A bit lazy, that's why she hasn't started conquering the world yet. Also doesn't like to leave her owner. She's convinced herself that it's duty, not love, keeping her in Fenford, and likes to say that Eliza couldn't get along without her. When she's not brooding over how no one understands her (which might have some truth), she's a great "pet" and generally cheerful towards everybody.

Occupation: wandering around the town doing secret llama stuff. To the ignorant observer it looks like she's checking out the latest fashions while trying to sneak some food from unguarded stores.

Siblings/Pets: Doctor Who said Eliza has a pet llama, and as there's only 1 in the town...

@DW, is this alright?

Password: Washing machine

Other: Is this too strange?

(September 21, 2017 - 6:04 pm)

NOPE! Not too strange in the slightest!

Yes! I'm guessing she can talk? Based off of Eliza's personality, I feel like Llillian would be someone she opens up to.

I'm actually not sure yet about the talking. She'd definitely be close to Eliza (apparently they're one of the more bonding animals). What about she can talk, but doesn't do it a lot b/c it often freaks people out, even those who realize Fenford is a strange place.
